“HAKIM DROPS THE BALL! HAKIM DROPS THE BALL!!” We all remember how the book of the 2000 Saints Season ended, the iconic 870 AM call of Jim Henderson poetically testifying at the top of his lungs that “THERE'S A GOD AFTER ALL!” and – for many of us – we remember exactly where we were for the franchise's first ever playoff win against “The Greatest Show on Turf”. In this episode we of course relive our own memories of that euphoric moment, but we also look back at the season as a whole. Did the turn of the century Saints team represent a turn of the corner for the overall fortunes and future of the franchise? In that pre-Payton/Brees era, far enough separated from the glory days of the Dome Patrol, thoughts of entering the 2000s with a legitimate winning team, much less a winning record, seemed to be wishful thinking at best - and talk of actually winning a playoff game reserved only for those willing to be ridiculed for having their head in the clouds (or stuck up their own…far less sunny region). BUT – everything changed in that 2000 season…This episode dives in depth into one of the most fun cast of characters the Saints have ever had, the feeling of hope turned into legitimate optimism then actual confidence in the team's ability to win consistently. The 2000 Saints were, if nothing else, a damn fun ride and opened our eyes to the possibility that a team in Black and Gold could actually compete against the NFL's best in the modern game; and ultimately, gave us the best moment – at that time – we had yet to experience as fans. Come along for the ride as we jump back to the year 2000 and trade memories and dive into that historic season!

Since May, only 27 rental units were added.Jim Henderson with the Rental Housing Association of Washington attributes the loss to a growing number of rental protection laws, making it harder and more expensive to own rental property in Seattle.Henderson says instead of improving conditions for renters, all the laws are limiting options and raising rental prices.LIKE & SUBSCRIBE for new videos everyday. https://bit.ly/3fs6dBU

A 26th round draft pick of the Montreal Expos back in 2003, the hard-throwing right-hander spent 15 years in professional baseball. In 2012, he became the first Dawgs Academy product to make it into the major leagues and would go on to pitch in 155 games for the Milwaukee Brewers and New York Mets. The 6-5, 220-pound hurler finished out his playing career in 2018 with the Biloxi Shuckers in Double-A, where an injury allowed him to cut his teeth as a scout, then as a coach in the Pioneer League. He rose through the Brewers system, just as he did as a player, and just a few weeks ago, was named the bullpen coach for the MLB squad. We had the opportunity to catch up with him recently to talk about his entire journey, his roots back home and what his family has meant to him.
Co-hosts David Gasper joins with Matt Carroll who returns this week as they discuss all the latest Milwaukee Brewers news and rumors. First, the Brewers hired two new coaches to the MLB coaching staff, former players Jim Henderson and Matt Erickson, who seem to be great hires. Then David and Matt discuss the International Signing Period which began last Saturday and the big prospects the Brewers signed, including Jhonny Severino, Johan Barrios, and Luis Lara, among others. David and Matt also discuss the importance of the international market, how it's grown in recent years, and how the Brewers have utilized it. Also discussed is David's recent Top 50 Brewers prospects list, who made it and why they were placed where they were. Finally, we discuss recent trade proposals made on Twitter involving Brandon Woodruff and Josh Hader, finishing with an in-depth discussion on Josh Hader's value and whether the Brewers should trade him or not.

Apple Podcasts Title: I Found Christ In a Foxhole | Jim Henderson Artist: Donald C. Kelly Category: Religion Tags/Keywords: Christian | Religion Album: Changing | Boynton Beach Florida Stake | Donald C. Kelly Album Artist: Donald C. Kelly | Stories of Everyday People Coming Unto Christ Composer: Donald C. Kelly | Boynton Beach Florida Stake Grouping: Changing | Christian | Saint | Donald C. Kelly As we kick off the second season of Changing, we're thrilled to welcome Jim Henderson to share his changing experience with Christ. Even when we grow up with Christ in our lives, it can take a specific moment in life to remind us of his importance. This holds for Jim, as he was reminded of Christ's importance while in the foxholes of Desert Shield. Jim grew up with Christ in his life. Jim's father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were pastors, so he grew up knowing the value and sacrifice of Christ. He was never called to be a pastor, so after college, he joined the army. While he hated his first six years, after gaining rank, he grew into the position. However, his deployment to Desert Shield suddenly made his theoretical training became real. Jim's night in the foxhole: On January 17, 1991, the rules of engagement changed when President Bush decided to take the metaphorical gloves off. Jim was in a foxhole at that time, and he and his friend were stationed at an observation post. In that position, you serve as a tripwire - alerting people if and when something happens. Jim and his friend were doing everything they were trained to do, working to make sure they could protect their brothers and sisters in the event something happens. While they were preparing, it suddenly dawned on Jim that he hadn't prayed. That realization changed Jim's perspective: It wasn't that he found God - he just finally remembered where Jim put him. Jim realized that God was always with him, and he had allowed other things to come in and clutter up a space that was his. When he finished praying, Jim had confidence he'd never known up to that point. Not emotional confidence, but assurance that if he didn't live to see the sun come up, everything would be okay. Because God had it handled. He realized that what he'd been concentrating on was religion when the answer was faith. How do we retain that level of commitment throughout our lives? Have a daily realization of who you are and what your goals are for that day. More importantly, realize that God is who got you to this point. To be the kind of person God wants you to be, be mindful of who you are and your dependence upon God. There are things in your life that help you stay where you need to be spiritually or help lead you away from where you shouldn't be spiritually. Take life a day at a time. Live your day not regretting yesterday or thinking of tomorrow, but making an effort with today. To get in contact with Jim, email him at jamesa_henderson@yahoo.com.
On the last episode of Changing, Donald explained that Changing would take a one-week break as the studio prepared for an exciting season two. While we love publishing fantastic episodes for you, that break is now going to extend for about a month. Here are three reasons why: We want to make sure we're fully prepared to deliver an awesome season of content. Based on our guest's schedules and availability, it would be difficult to get quality content out so rapidly. All the fine folk of TSE Studios need time to relax and refresh. So consider this our Sabbath; it's time to prepare and relax so that season two is even better than the last (if that's even possible.) A Season Two Sneak Peek: In an upcoming episode, guest Jim Henderson tells the story of how he got reacquainted with God: in an actual foxhole. Another guest Jordan Jensen will tell his story of finding God while overcoming his problems with mental health. These incredible stories (and many more) are what you have to look forward to for an incredible season two of Changing. We'll see you then! In the meantime, go back and watch season one of the podcast. Improve your discipleship with Christ, and subscribe to the podcast for more stories of Changing and growing closer to Christ.
We talk with Jim Henderson, retired member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and current CMP Pistol Program coordinator, who tells us about new and upcoming competitive and educational events in the works.
On today's episode of The Link, Pastor Chris tackles an important conversation about one of the vital segments of the body of Christ, women. So often, there are controversies surrounding women and what role they play. But what we must acknowledge is women are crucial members of the body of Christ, the church, our homes, and the world. With this in mind, it is important to have a conversation about God's plan and purpose for women and some of the tension points surrounding this. Joining Pastor Chris is Dr. Jon Morales, Gina Holm, and Dr. Ravae Wilson for a discussion on all this and more. Ben Weatherall farms rare Blackface sheep and Galloway cattle on his remote hill farm near Dumfries, and aims to rear his animals with as little input as possible. He's one of a number of people working to keep food traditions alive in the Scottish Borders. Following the River Nith downhill, as the animals will be doing later in the year, Sheila Dillon also meets Jim Henderson who has overseen the transformation of this stretch of the river. Formerly polluted and with low fish stocks it is now clean and stocks are thriving. Jim also plays a key part in the ongoing battle with poachers.Ben's brother's farm is home to a rare herd of pedigree indigenous Ayrshire cattle. They're well known for their incredible cream and milk - but the raw (unpasteurised) milk is not allowed to be sold under Scottish law.Robbie Cowan, Tom Brown and Ronnie Clark practice the ancient Norse fishing technique known as Haaf Netting, a practice in harmony with fish stocks. They believe the survival of this method to be essential to preserving local heritage, yet it's not possible to make a living from it now as fish numbers are down.Producer: Rich Ward.
