We were lucky enough to be able to be friends with such an amazing person, he will never be forgotten.......RIP Ken Flores. I dont really know what to say to make anything better or easier. Ken Flores came into our studio for the first time and we automatically knew...."this fool is awesome". Ive only laughed hard enough to cry a few times on the show.... When i do these shows I try to take a piece of advice, knowledge, a lesson....something to improve or valuable enough to hang on to. I say this because with Ken it was insightful at the core of his stories because their was ALWAYS self realization.....but that was always overshadowed by how funny he was. Many times on and off camera we spoke about his extra circular activities......but what can you say when someone is a grown man and a rising star. We were all lucky enough to get the time we did.......I dont say this lightly, but there will not be anyone like him for a long time. His ability to control a room was something rare.....even in our little studio he had us hooked with his stories. The first day we met he told me how many of my videos hes watched, I didnt realize Ken was an actual real deal fan, watched all the Story Times. Him, his roommate and his homey Chins back in Aurora. I was a fan of Ken as a comedian....to hear how stoked he was made my day forreal. For someone on their way to literal stardom.....there was no Hollywood vibe with him A few months later I asked Ken to do our live podcast and with NO hesitation he said yes and he would be stoked to do it. Ken is a true legend in the making and hes doing these little podcast live shows for us because hes always trying to see someone win....hes always looking out for people. This man rode 2 hours to our venue in the summer time and still made it back to do 2 shows he had booked......just a great guy that truly loved comedy. I really wish I was typing this because Ken was back for another episode.....but knowing this can and never will happen again is unreal and truly heartbreaking. Ken, we love you, thank you for your friendship, the laughs, making me get on stage & do stand up, being the only person to get me to nearly throw up on stage.....the open baggy on the balls story will NEVER not be disgusting, thank you for being an amazing performer and again, thank you for the friendship......love you forever dude. There are TWO MOVIES out about the A-Bomb and about two amazing Physicists who created them. One is Oppenheimer about Robert Oppenheimer and the other is A Compassionate Spy about Ted Hall. In this episode, Harvey and Jim discuss and reflect on Oppenheimer and then they will introduce you to A Compassionate Spy by the name of Ted Hall. You have probably seen the first and never heard about the second even though both are getting great reviews, both involve the creation of the A-Bomb and both reflect on the dilemma of conscience of these two men that worked on it. This is truly fascinating. We also honor Sinead O'Connor.

We had the pleasure of interviewing Small Black over Zoom video! Formed in 2009 as a bedroom recording project, Small Black first made waves with their eponymous debut EP. Recorded in the attic of singer Josh Kolenik’s uncle’s remote Long Island beach house/surfboard workshop, the EP served as an introduction to the group, with its pulsing patchwork of vintage synths and casio beats culminating in the breakthrough single "Despicable Dogs." This track cemented them as pioneers of Chillwave, the sound of which seemed to get its hooks into so much music across the 2010s. The project evolved into a fully-fledged touring act, consisting of Kolenik (vox/keyboards), Ryan Heyner (guitar/keyboards), Juan Pieczanski (bass/guitar), and Jeff Curtin (drums), and this live influence showed up in their debut LP on Jagjaguwar, 2010's New Chain. The loopy, weeded-out album found the band messing around with hip hop drums & samples, which they further explored on 2011's Moon Killer mixtape, collaborating with rapper Heems & remixing their own material through this kaleidoscopic lens. Years of hitting the road hard sent the band after a brand new sound & aesthetic with 2013's beloved Limits of Desire. Chasing the 80s pastiche of The Blue Nile & Talk Talk, SB upped their production chops, writing, recording & mixing the record from scratch, with the anthemic "No Stranger" & "Breathless" leading the way. Punctuated by the incredible visuals of directors Nick Bentgen and Yoonha Park, it was a huge step forward for the project. 2015's Best Blues, led by "Boys Life," followed further down this sophisti-pop path, adding more organic flourishes, choral samples & a little goth energy into the mix. 2020 finds Small Black back in the game with a brand new label, the vaporwave upstart 100% Electronica. Working again with mixer Nicolas Vernhes, the band’s new record, Cheap Dreams is out now! We want to hear from you! Official Website: http://www.lawabidingbiker.com Podcast-In this episode we start out with a post from a Patron member of Law Abiding Biker private Facebook Group. That private Facebook Group is growing quickly and it is all about bikers helping bikers. The only way to get in is to become a Patron Member of the show. NEW FREE VIDEO-Touch up paint chip or scratch on Harley Davidson Patron member Carl Lingelbach posted a question about motorcycle torque cones for exhaust headers and their effectiveness. He put true dual exhaust on his Harley and now doesn't have enough back pressure and his bike is not performing optimally. Luckily, I had mechanical advisor Oscar on the microphone and he answered this very question. At the end of the day, he's not a big fan and doesn't think that torque cones are all that effective. There are much better options for performance out there like getting other exhaust aside from true dual pipes. You'll just have to listen to get all the details. Next we cover an email from Nora Dalton and she asks: I have a 2014 FLHTK with a compensator noise. I'm talking with HOG members with the same compensator noise can you tell us what is going on with the Harley Davidson compensator problem? Our Original Response: Listen and you might also hear the chain whirring around in the primary. Pull the primary cover off & replace the OEM Primary Chain Auto Adjuster with a new Auto Tensioner. A few have experienced that the auto tensioner was bad or needed to be quickly adjusted. What your hearing could be a primary chain with slack in it. So as the bike idles you hear the chain whirring or rubbing against the inside of primary. Then the compensator eventually gets a slack slap (knock). Of course we discuss this in more length, so listen in. Next we cover a voicemail we received from Martin Royal: Martin is wondering if he can use the Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3 (FP3) motorcycle fuel injection tuner (EFI) with his stock Harley head pipes if he removes the catalytic converters (cats). He related information from Vance & Hines that the stock O2 sensors are too close on the stock Harley head pipes and he will get cross-talk of some sort & that the auto tune function could then not be used. Note: Make certain you check your local, State, & Federal laws before removing catalytic converters from motorcycle exhaust pipes. Oscar and I give our personal opinion and our real world experience on this matter. Quite a few of us are using the Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3 on our current Harleys in just the manner Martin describes in his voicemail and have absolutely no problem with the functionality of the FP3 and our bikes are running great! And yes, we run the auto tune function on the FP3 and it works great! Certainly you could buy Vance and Hines head pipes or another manufacturer if you choose and they don't have catalytic converters and the O2 sensors are in a bit different location. Next we cover and email from Peter Ried Fort Hood, TX: (stationed there) I have been a member of your youtube channel and facebook page for Law Abiding Biker. After watching your videos and doing my own research I purchased my First Harley today. I haven't ridden a bike in years and love my 2014 Street Glide. Just wanted you to know that your information and videos is what put me back on a bike. I am stationed at Fort Hood. I at cant wait for more information on your forums. Keep up the great work Next we cover and email from Rory Seldon of Walnut, CA: Just wanted to drop a note and say that I tried to install the Hogtunes without your video and wasted several hours. Once I purchased the video, installation was a breeze. Great job and well worth the money!!!! Next we cover and email from Jon Philbrick: Thanks for the bundles of information you have passed on throughout the year. You are appreciated and looked to as a source of information. I know it takes more time than I think I could expend to put together your programs for us bikers (and other interested parties), but there are those among us that acknowledge your extra effort, and all useful. So as this year comes to an end and another one is coming face to face with us, I wish you and yours a most Merry Christmas and a great new year. May you be in health and continue on with your enthusiasm...and great informative emails/videos.
