What's the best way to make friends, influence people, be the life of the party and a master communicator?I think being a magician, a mind reader or maybe even a psychic! You'd be endlessly entertaining, engaging AND an expert persuader. Now think about it from a business perspective…If you were looking for an unfair advantage… a better way to attract your perfect customers faster, provide huge value and KEEP those customers. (because they felt understood, valued, and got to spend more time in their superpower.) That would sort of be like the ultimate gift, right? Mike's friend, Dr. Gary Sanchez has a really exciting new product he absolutely LOVES. It's called the WHY.os and it's the world's first and only tool for discovering your WHY, your HOW, and your WHAT.In fact, Mike loves it SO MUCH that if you listen to or watch this episode, he's going to give you WHY.os FREE.Listen or Watch this episode to find out HOW TO DISCOVER YOUR “WHY” IN LESS THAN 5 MINUTES.What is the WHY.os and why is it so important?Back in 2008 Gary was a dentist and desperately trying to figure out how to stand out in his crowded marketplace of 600 dentists. That's when he heard one of his mentors interview Simon Sinek (author of the book “Start With Why.” ) and first heard about the concept of WHY.That's when he realized he didn't know his OWN why. He had a great “what.” In fact, Gary spent 20 years building a practice with all the technology and a well trained team but he wasn't growing like he thought he should. He felt like the worlds best kept secret. So when he heard Simon Sinek talking about NEEDING to know your “why,” your “how” and your “what” he fell in love with the concept. The only problem was that there wasn't anyone to help him discover his “why.”He became obsessed with discovering his “why” and called Simon to ask for his help discovering his “why.” They spent eight months together going back through his life looking for clues as to why he did what he did and finally figured out his “why.” Gary's “why” is to Find a Better Way and share it. Once he realized this, his life made so much sense. He went back and figured out what Simon was trying to do and made it better. He developed a series of questions that could help someone discover their “why'' in about an hour (rather than six or eight months) and then use that to build their messaging, marketing and branding. That's exactly what he did for his OWN practice and it took off so other people wanted to know his secret. He started doing it with anyone that would listen. On planes, stages, skype calls and even his dentist chair!
#Billsmafia how do you feel about going for it fourth down last night? Could have repercussions come playoff time. Yanks are keeping Aaron Boone. Is Cashman on a lifetime contract? SS is a priority. Gary Sanchez isn't the answer at catcher. Gleyber Torres is an enigma and pitching needs to be addressed too. They have a very busy offseason.Ben Simmons the petulant athlete. Wouldn't do a drill in practice so he was sent home. Let him stay there. Evander Kane get your shit together. You're a grown man.
El receptor de los Yankees en conferencia de prensa, estuvo conversando sobre su espectacular bambinazo que fue pieza clave en la victoria de los yankees frente a Texas.
In this episode, Gary Sanchez's future, Luis Severino expectations, a review of Giancarlo Stanton's season, why isn't Voit getting more at-bats, and what to expect of the pitching staff in 2022?
The New York Yankees are almost out of contention and will need a miracle and some help to stay in the hunt for the playoffs. Our buddy Sal Licata was heard dealing with a caller on the overnight, we have sure had some forgettable coaches around here, after hearing some of Al Dukes' Rex Ryan parody songs the guys have a request for the esteemed singer/song writer, Gio is pleased to learn that Al has 'four rods' in his Mazda, we were all pleased to hear more from Jerry in the form of an update, he talked about losses for the Jets and Yankees, a win for the Mets and so much more from around the NFL, a brief game of 'guess the spread' starring Boomer Esiason, a Giants fan called in to make it known he would like to trade away Daniel Jones soon and Gary Sanchez isn't a very good defensive catcher. The Bronx faithful booed Gerrit Cole off the mound on Sunday as the Yankees lost their series to the Indians. Cleveland scored 11 runs in back to back games, demoralizing the Yankees. Gary Sanchez's days with NY are numbered and it couldn't be more clear. We'll never root for losses and want this team to make the playoffs, but it actually might be better off for them to miss it and overhaul everything. Times are bad, drink our tears. The Yankees were a strike away from the sweep but Gary Sanchez's defense reared its ugly head again. NYY finishes the season 11-8 vs the O's, enough said. The offense or lack thereof has killed this team for the majority of the season. New York's #2 Sports Podcast is an Influencer Audio production.

I'm ready to rock another action packed, fast paced sports podcast party and everyone is invited as Episode #214 is online ready for consumption. On deck: (5:21) Week 1 of the NFL did not disappoint. I'll discuss the biggest winners (Arizona, Miami) and losers (Green Bay, Buffalo & Tennessee) of the opening week and go through the schedule to see what took place in a wild and crazy start to the season. (37:16) The wild card pennant races in the AL & NL are heating up, especially with both New York teams right in the middle of it. A hotly contested Subway Series over the weekend was the highlight in there were lots of fireworks coming from Mets SS Francisco Lindor with his bat and mouth. Also, it's time for the Yankees to trade Gary Sanchez and their plight over the last two weeks. Plus, the latest with who's still fighting for a playoff spot and who's fading fast. And a thought on the upcoming ESPN 30 for 30: Once Upon A Time in Queens, a documentary on the 1986 NY Mets. (58:36) The top story out of college football this past week was how the Oregon Ducks pulled off an upset not a lot of people saw as they beat the Ohio State Buckeyes in Columbus. Does this mean it's curtains for Ohio State's chances of making it to the college football playoff? I'll get into that and recap some of the better matchups of Saturday, update the latest top ten rankings and look ahead to Week 4. (1:06:33) The last Grand Slam event of the tennis season was intriguing as we have a teenage winner on the women's side (Emma Radacanu) and her journey to being a champion. But the main story was how Novak Djokovic's quest for immortality was shut down as Daniil Medvedev is your 2021 men's champ. I'll dissect what possibly happened to 'Joker' and how he fell short of winning the tournament, capturing his 21st title which would've been a record and becoming the first player in 52 years to win a calendar Grand Slam. (1:14:54) Lastly, an update of Evander Holyfield filling in for Oscar de la Hoya in a fight that took place over the weekend. Needless to say, it didn't end up well. Same for Tito Ortiz in his fight with Anderson Silva. (1:17:30) Of course, there's my Hero and Zero of the Week. Adam and Thomas discuss the Yankees' loss in the Subway Series to the Mets. Despite a valiant effort, the benches cleared Sunday night when Giancarlo Stanton (while rounding the bases after hitting the game-tying two-run homer) exchanged words with Francisco Lindor. Also, Gleyber Torres is not a shortstop. Gary Sanchez's bat isn't good enough to make up for his horrible defense (arguably the worst play made by a catcher ever on Friday night?). And Gio Urshela has the same amount of errors as hits since coming off the IL. Again, what is going on? See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It was a wild Subway Series this weekend at Citi Field that culminated with an insane Sunday Night Baseball game between the Yankees and Mets. The benches cleared after tempers flared between Lindor, Baez, and Stanton. Chad Green gave up another bomb and lost another game for this team. Judge had a monster Saturday putting the team on his back but left Sunday's game with dizziness. Gary Sanchez is awful again and his error on Friday with the missed tag was beyond embarrassing. Clarke Schmidt made his season debut and ran into trouble with his location. Gleyber and Gio are completely lost. We talk about the 20th anniversary of 9/11 and the tribute they had before Saturday night's game. Outro Song: “Glowing Dance” via APM Music Library

The Yankees will play the White Sox this weekend without the following players and pitchers: Gary Sanchez, Anthony Rizzo, Gleyber Torres, Gio Urshela, Gerrit Cole, Jordan Montgomery, Domingo German, Aroldis Chapman and Clay Holmes. Aaron Hicks is out for the season, Luis Severino is still on his way back from Tommy John surgery and Corey Kluber hasn't started a game in nearly three months. If the Yankees were to get in the postseason and ever get healthy, they would have the best roster in the playoffs. But will they ever get healthy?White Sox Dave of Barstool Sports joined me to talk about the upcoming three-game series, the Field of Dreams and the state of White Sox as they sit back and wait for October.

Another month is almost in the books, but the latest episode #206 is already in the books as I escort you through the sports universe with all that it has to offer. On deck: (6:08) Baseball is the last sport standing as we've hit the Sports Dead Zone Pt. 2, with lots of rumors milling around with the Trade Deadline set for Saturday at 4pm. The Rays have fired the first salvo bringing in a bat (Nelson Cruz) as well as, trading P Rich Hill to the Mets. The Padres made a move for All-Star, Adam Frazier to secure their infield. I discuss other big time players that can be on the move (Trevor Story, Javier Baez, Anthony Rizzo, Kris Bryant, Max Scherzer, to name a few) and my take on the Yankees as they should sell, including stars, Gary Sanchez, Gleyber Torres and yes, Aaron Judge with my state of the Bombers this late in the season. I'll explain why. There are some key players coming back (White Sox OF, Eloy Jimenez) and some on the IL (Dodgers OF, Mookie Betts) There's also a new name for one of baseball's oldest teams. I'll update all of the latest pennant races with not too much drama in the AL & NL as of today. (34:08) The Bucks win their first title in 50 years on the shoulders and back of Giannis Antetokoumpo. How does his epic performance rank all time in close out games? Also, the flipside of the Suns setting as they weren't able to secure two more wins after being up 2-0 in the series. Does this affect Chris Paul's legacy? How about Devin Booker? Deandre Ayton? Will they be back in the Finals next year? I'll share who'll be the potential top picks in the upcoming NBA Draft may be. (52:40) The Kraken have completed their draft and filled out a roster for their inaugural season in 2021-22. Were there any surprises as to who wasn't picked by the NHL's newest team? I'll take a look at who was chosen at the top of the NHL Draft this past weekend with a theme of some family lineage tying into two of the teams that are impacted. Also, a huge singing in Colorado with their top defenseman, Cale Makar. Will this be the first domino to fall in order to bring back some of their own free agents (i.e. Gabriel Landeskog & Brandan Saad)? And the league did the Islanders ZERO favors when it comes to the schedule for this upcoming year. You won't want to miss that! (1:05:29) NFL news and notes as training camps open throughout the league including, embattled Texan QB, Deshaun Watson on the trading block? Will some team take the plunge despite the baggage? An update on the Aaron Rodgers saga in Green Bay. A couple of signings in San Francisco and Pittsburgh. A disgruntled pass rusher in Arizona. A tough loss for the Rams with a key offensive player going down for the season. And a memo that spread throughout the league regarding COVID outbreaks within a team and how forfeits of games and loss of paychecks will take place because of players that are unvaccinated. Even a coach received a pink slip for refusing to get the vaccine. I'll be sure to dissect all of that. (1:18:18) A brief update on the Summer Olympics. The USA Men's basketball team have lost their first game since 2004. Is this a sign of bad things to come? And a 13 year old became the second youngest to win a gold...in SKATEBOARDING! This week I had the pleasure to speak with Doug Dorame, recently retired Athletic Director, Girls Basketball Coach, and Girls Track Coach from Albuquerque High School. It was a fantastic conversation, and if you want to hear more, go back and listen to his daughter, Dineé, interview him on her podcast, Grounded with Dineé Dorame, Episode 15. We start off talking about his running, traveling to El Paso, cinder tracks, and eventually going to the University of Colorado Boulder. He talked about coaching, some of the great people he's been able to be around like Jim Ciccarello, Gary Sanchez, and Kenny Henry. He talks about how the coaching has changed and how he had to adapt to it. It was wonderful hearing him talk about the privilege of working at Albuquerque High while his daughters were there and what that meant to him. He also talked about retirement and that it hasn't quite hit him yet, but he's excited to be able to work on his running for a bit. You can hear his passion for running and sports in general throughout the conversation. I won't be surprised to see him back helping out some lucky school at some point. You can hear it in his advice for new coaches as well. I truly hope you enjoy this conversation with a local legend. I also hope you enjoyed this week of cooler weather. Cross Country is around the corner, so hydrate, eat right, be kind, and keep running, New Mexico.

A deep dive into news pundits and Paul realizes that he actually was a pundit on Best Week Ever! Paul told us about how he got his start performing at UCB to creating The Human Giant for MTV. Adam Weinrib covers a SOLO PODCAST psycho-style to talk about the Yankees' comeback win-filled week against Oakland and Toronto. The Yankees refuse to stop turning triple plays. Some would say they're obsessed with it and we expect a rule change at some point to stop them. The Yankees not only won a weekend game but also took the series against the A's. Gary Sanchez remains scorching hot and it's awesome. Good baseball is finally being played just when they needed it most. Gio survived splinters to the eye and we cringe at the thought of it happening to us. Johnny Lasagna deserves an All Star spot no questions asked. Luke Voit returns Tuesday. Outro Song: “Let Me Have You For Tonight” (via APM Music Library)

Jacob deGrom left another start early Wednesday night, this time because of tightness in his right shoulder, which is certainly reason for concern, so Boomer & Gio are concerned, Al Dukes on the other hand believes this is all in deGrom's head and questions the Mets' right-hander's willingness to compete, then it was time for some update goodness courtesy of Jerry Recco, despite deGrom's setback the Mets did win, so did the Yankees thanks in-large part to Gary Sanchez and Gerrit Cole, Hawks and Clippers both win their Game 5's, Gio is pretty sure 'JJ After Dark' will never talk to them again and by the way, the Mets might be the best team in baseball. We're kicking off summer with a hot pilot! It's called Voice of the People written by Paul Scheer & Andrew Guest.
