Join us for this replay from the archives and learn more about the benefits of doing the right workout...   Amy Hudson and Brian Cygan reveal the truth behind the fitness industry and why you don't need to spend hours at the gym every week in order to stay fit and healthy. Learn the science behind the 20-minute workout and how you can achieve optimal health benefits by doing the right workout, for the right length of time, just twice a week. Is 20 minutes long enough to have a great workout? Simply put, absolutely. The training at the Exercise Coach is targeting the root cause of usual aging which is the age-related loss of muscle mass, also known as sarcopenia. Research shows that sarcopenia is a function of the loss of and weakening of fast-twitch muscle fibers. Loss of fast-twitch muscle fibers directly correlates to a weakening metabolism, weaker bones, less energy, and worse health as we age. In order to reverse the usual aging process and restore muscle mass you need to do exercises that are focused on building fast-twitch muscle fibers. This means the exercise needs to be intense enough to recruit those muscle fibers. The ideal exercise to target those muscle fibers is science-based strength training. When we work our muscles in exactly the right manner to actually use our fast-twitch muscle fibers, it's intense and therefore needs to be brief. That's why the workout at The Exercise Coach is only 20 minutes. The 20-minute workout is not the bare minimum you can get away with, it's actually the specific length of time you need to optimally recruit, stimulate, and fatigue the right muscle fibers. One researcher looked at a number of studies on exercise programs and concluded that all that was necessary to get the majority of the benefits that people want from a health and fitness standpoint was to perform a strength training workout for about 20 mins no more than twice per week. The best workout with the most health benefits is the one that is necessarily brief. The higher the intensity of the workout, the less time you need to spend doing that workout. No amount of exercise, in volume or minutes, can bring about the most important results from a fitness endeavor that people are after. The key is to work at the right intensity level and engage the fast-twitch muscle fibers to reverse the aging process and restore optimal health and fitness.   Link: exercisecoach.com     This podcast and blog are provided to you for entertainment and informational purposes only. The first step to living a life by design (instead of default) is deciding where you want to go. The second step is owning where you are now… (Where you are NEVER defines who you are— it's just your current location, your starting point. Nor is where you are where you must remain. However, where you are IS where you must begin. So…) Create a plan, and enjoy the journey. Here's how… ✅ DREAM— and develop the “best case scenario” for every area of life. We spend more time planning what we'll wear on any given day than we do actually orchestrating the hours of that day. That is, we dress by design, but we often live by default. Make a decision to live by design… … and to create the best case scenario for each area of life, not just one area. (Because every area is connected— what happens in your family affects your work, what happens in faith affects friendships, etc.) ✅ DETERMINE the steps you need to take in order to move from here to there, but create them in reverse— from “there to here” instead of “here to there.” In other words, reverse engineer your path. This guarantees you won't move in a random direction but that you'll actually move toward your dream. ✅ DO the small stuff. In the Advance book (and workshop, as well as video courses), we actually talk about how to create a bridge from “there to here.” Many times, people FAIL to make forward progress because they think in terms of concepts instead of actions. For instance… …. they make goals like “lose weight” instead of calendaring actions such as cutting the alcohol and sugars, exercising every morning at 6am, and monitoring their meals. …. they make goals like “having a thriving marriage” rather than calendaring activities such as “date night each week.” It all comes down to activity— and, generally, some of these actions seem so small we overlook them. PRO TIP: In the Advance material, we help you identify the catalytic action(s)— the ones which create disproportional momentum relative to the time and effort required to complete them. Download the Advance audiobook (free) for more info on what this looks like…. ++++++++

Jerry is in for Boomer today and he and Gio talk about the greatness of Aaron Judge. Gio said he's the best NY baseball player in a really long time and they try to think who else was as great as him. We are talking day in and day out. Judge is the best player in baseball as we sit here today. C-Lo is in for Jerry and is here for his first update but first we talked about our Kickoff to Summer show. He started with the Aaron Judge HR that tied the game at 5 in the bottom of the ninth. Gerrit Cole was not great and put the Yankees in a hole early but the Yankees battled back. DJ Lemahieu did a poor job on a squeeze bunt. Anthony Volpe's sac fly in the tenth wins it for the Yanks. The Mets fell behind early to the Cubs and never recovered. Gary Sanchez had his first passed ball as a Met. Pete Alonso hit another HR in the loss. Aaron Rodgers strained his calf warming up yesterday. He also talked about how great it's been to be a Jet so far. The Celtics finally won a game over the Heat and are now down 3-1 in the series. In the final segment of the hour, both Jerry and Gio said Aaron Judge is the most impressive player they've seen in NY in their lifetime. Gio has a funny Joe Benigno/Sandy Alomar story. Joe also had an awkward Phil/Joe Niekro moment. A caller compares Judge to Dave Winfield.

So hopefully you have listened to our earlier episode (Episode 16) this week where we chat with my coach Niel Copeland on all things ultra-cycling. Well, almost all things. One major aspect of these long distance races is eating … eating a lot, a lot, a lot of food. So today, that's why we're bringing you a bonus episode on Ultra Eating. We start off with a quick check-in on my training for the Race Around Rwanda and then go into the importance of nutrition, how you train to eat (yes, you actually need to do this), how much and what to eat on an ultra race, issues that come up and how to avoid them and why planning is key . We also chat through my recent experience using the UltraHuman CGM and how the insights available through wearing it helped me stay fueled during training. I'll be wearing one during my upcoming race and am excited to report back on that. So, if you like cycling, and you like food, you may like this episode. To follow Niel, check him out on IG @nielcopeland (feel free to slide into his DMs) and also on YouTube at @turncycling. Billy knows a thing or two about long distance real estate investing, since he invests in the United States while residing in Barcelona, Spain. We'll give you the knowledge and tools you need to confidently diversify your portfolio by removing all the borders. Enjoy the episode! “Realize that when you focus on your life, on your family, and your finances, that's going to give you the best long-term return.” HIGHLIGHTS: Here's a breakdown of what to expect in this episode: How Billy went from growing up in Ohio to living in Barcelona, Spain Three major events that changed Billy's life and led him to alternative investments Challenges and differences between investing actively in small multifamily vs. passively in large multifamily Discover how to invest in real estate from anywhere in the world How to invest in precious metals, energy and ATMs What is Return on Sleep (ROS) and why you need to maximize it Discover how to work full time in a successful career while scaling your real estate investing How to maximize time management as a W2 employee And so much more!   ABOUT | BILLY KEELS: During his corporate career, Billy put his leadership and relationship-building skills to good use to help clients get to the root of issues that were holding them back from full success. Billy earned his stripes as a true problem-solver, a skill he carried into his new entrepreneurial life. What made him popular with employers who sent him across the globe to meet with Fortune 500-level clients is the same thing that makes him popular with investors, buyers and sellers in real estate today… his skills in coming up with real solutions that work in the real world for real people! Billy says that he was happy enough in his JOB, but something was missing. An emptiness and longing for a different life chewed on him, pulling him to what he knew he wanted to do more than anything else. Billy wanted to be an entrepreneur who brought two worlds together. He wanted to give individuals where he lives the chance to invest in properties on US soil. So he took steps and kept on the path to his goals. KeePon Cashflow is the result of his efforts. Today Billy is an international real estate entrepreneur, problem-solver, author, coach and mentor. He sees opportunities where others often don't in real estate. No “overnight success,” Billy continues to work toward his vision and goals. Topmost on his list? To build a bridge between investors and buyers in Europe with sellers in the US.   FIND | BILLY KEELS: Website: http://billykeels.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/billykeels/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/billykeels/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/keeponcashflow Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/keeponcashflow Twitter: https://twitter.com/billykeels Free Guide: http://billykeels.com/7mistakes   CONNECT | SETH BRADLEY: Book | Your Freedom Accelerator Call: https://calendly.com/sethbradley/freedomaccelerator Snag | The Freedom Blueprint: http://www.attorneybydesign.com Subscribe and Leave a Rating and Review: Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-passive-income-attorney-podcast/id1543049208 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5a0Qp9G2x337nZCDWoVgoO?si=MKn01_t8Tfu0JBZCnagrCw Join EPIC | The Esquire Passive Investor Club: https://passiveincomeattorney.com/join-the-passive-income/ Join | The Passive Income Attorneys Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/passiveincomeattorneys Follow Us: Website:  https://passiveincomeattorney.com/ LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/sethpaulbradley/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/passiveincomeattorney Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/passiveincomeattorney/
