Pete Alonso was back early from the IL but went 0-for-4 in the loss. The Mets have lost 11-of-14. Wyndham Clark won the US Open. In the final segment of the show, we talked about Steve Cohen and the Mets. A caller didn't like when Cohen brought back Sandy Alderson.

Hour 1: Boomer is out so it's Gio & Jerry today. Gio said he doesn't like to make a big deal about Father's Day. That way if he doesn't do enough for Mother's Day, he can always say, ‘well, we didn't do anything for Father's Day'. The Mets and Yankees have both been very boring lately. Giancarlo Stanton has been terrible since coming back from his injury. He still has 4 ½ years left on his contract. Gio said baseball in NY is boring and lifeless right now. The Mets actually had some offense yesterday but Carlos Carrasco was bad on the mound. C-Lo is in for Jerry today. He starts with the Mets losing to the Cardinals after coming back and tying the game at 7-7. The Yankees were swept by the Red Sox over the weekend. The Yankees only managed 9 hits in a double header yesterday. Wyndham Clark won the US Open. Jerry said there was no feeling that this was a major championship. Bradley Beal is headed to the Phoenix Suns. In the final segment of the hour, Ja Morant got a 25 game suspension. As Adam Silver said, how many games does it take to change behavior. Jerry said you have to threaten to take the game away from them forever.  Hour 2: Bob Huggins resigned as basketball coach at West Virginia because of a DUI arrest on Friday. A caller talked about young players with a ton of money and how suspending them a few games doesn't really do anything. Jerry talked about how young these guys are when they get a ton of money and thinks so many of them do a great job handling that, and there's only a handful that get into trouble like Ja Morant. We will probably do a show from Jets camp again this year. Jerry wondered if Gio would be star struck by Aaron Rodgers. He doesn't think so. C-Lo returns for an update but first we talked about having to give the doctor urine samples and how embarrassing that is. A caller said there's a professional prostate checker that goes into a classroom of medical students and they all check his prostate. The whole class. Gio said the guy has to be a sicko. In Boston a little kid threw a foul ball back and it really upset his brother so the Red Sox got him a signed ball. In the final segment of the hour, the Braves' Charlie Culberson's dad was supposed to throw out the first pitch on Father's day, but the DFA'd him before the game. Awkward. St. Louis Cardinals 2011 World Series and NCLS MVP, David Freese, declined an offer to join the Cardinals Hall of Fame.  Hour 3: We are doing our show from the Travelers Championship on Wednesday and Gio almost got to play in the pro-am. He was then invited to play mini-golf with the children. Bummer. Would Gio really be able to tee off with a driver in front of a crowd who he could potentially hit? We also talked about the US Open from this weekend. There was a plane getting overhead shots and it was making a lot of noise on tv.  C-Lo returned for an update and Buck Showalter talked about Mark Vientos being sent down in order to bring Pete Alonso back from the IL. We also talked about Tiki Barber having a 20 handicap in golf and Gio can't believe he's that bad. The Yankees got swept in Boston including a doubleheader yesterday. Karl Ravech made a bunch of errors in one call of the college world series. In the final segment of the hour, the Astros have lost 4 in a row which means they will probably sweep the Mets. There are a bunch of teams ahead of the Giants, including Jordan Love's Packers. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Yankees walk off win against the Orioles. Gio wonders if Justin Shackil will have a signature call. Jerry said you don't have to have one, especially if it's forced. Judge homered in the 9th and Volpe's sac fly won it in the tenth. The Mets lost to the Cubs and were never in the game. Kodai Senga will pitch tonight with an extra day of rest. Aaron Rodgers tweaked his calf in pre practice conditioning. Rob Saleh talked about the Jets being legit Super Bowl contenders. In the final segment of the hour, Al went back to Colonia Middle School yesterday to talk to students.  The NFL will now allow teams to fair catch the ball anywhere on a kickoff and it will be placed at the 25 yard line. This is going to make most kickoffs obsolete. Why even do them? Last night the NFL Network aired Cowboys/Vikings from 1998 where Randall Cunningham and Randy Moss dominated them. C-Lo returns for an update and starts with the Yankees win over the Orioles and the Mets loss to the Cubs. Tylor Megill did not have a good outing. Pete Alonso did hit his 18th HR of the season in the loss. We also discussed C-Lo's issue with eczema. Aaron Rodgers talked about his tweaked calf. Rodgers said all he knew about NJ was what he saw on The Jersey Shore. Boomer broke down Zach Wilson's plays yesterday when he went on Monday Morning Quarterback on the CBS Sports Network. He came away impressed. We also talked about Daniel Jones' high ankle sprain. Jerry is here for his first update but first we talked about Aaron Judge being stuck at 61 and everybody keeps breaking in to cover his at bats. Luis Severino had a no hitter through seven innings but was pulled because he is returning from an injury. Boomer thinks the Yankees did the right thing in pulling Severino as he is good to go for the playoffs. The Mets are still alive as the Braves lost to the Marlins. The 49'ers beat the Rams last night 24-9 and Matthew Stafford was sacked seven times. Someone ran on the field with a pink smoke bomb. Brian Daboll was asked about Daniel Jones' injury. Chiefs, Chargers, Bengal and Bills in the AFC. In the NFC it's Green Bay, Tampa Bay, L.A. Rams and the Eagles. Will Wink Martindale blitz Aaron Rodgers this weekend in London? We play win/loss for the next few Giants games. Boomer has the Giants going 2-11 the rest of the way. He thinks their offense is not very good. Boomer has the Jets going 7-6 the rest of the way. Jerry returns for his final update of the day and starts with the Yankees beating the Rangers with Luis Severino throwing seven no hit innings before he was pulled. Where will Judge wind up next year and where will deGrom wind up? The 49'ers beat the Rams on MNF and a fan ran on the field with a pink smoke bomb in support of animal rights. Brian Daboll is asked about Daniel Jones' injury and he is very hesitant with his response. Tyreek Hill chose the Dolphins over the Jets because of state taxes. Boomer says the Mets have everybody back right now except for Starling Marte. Jerry returns for an update and starts with Max Scherzer throwing six perfect innings before he came out. The Mets clinched a playoff berth for the first time since 2016. The Bills beat the Titans behind 4 Josh Allen TDs, with 3 of them going to Stef Diggs. Jalen Hurts ran for 2 TDs and threw for another as the Eagles beat the Vikings. Kirk Cousins threw 3 INTs. Brian Daboll met the media and talked about Kenny Golladay. In the final segment of the show, Gio feels like he was uninvited to dinner with Boomer on Thursday. We also talk about how you could go about getting the Aaron Judge HR ball.

Hour 1: Max Scherzer was perfect through six innings last night and was taken out since it was his first start coming back from injury. Gio hates baseball taking guys out of a perfect game to prevent injury. And the Mets officially clinched a playoff spot. Jerry started with the Mets beating the Brewers as Max Scherzer was perfect through his six innings. Scherzer had no problem getting pulled. With the Mets officially clinching a playoff spot, they all say this is just the beginning and they have high expectations. Josh Allen to Stef Diggs was good for 3 TDs last night as the Bills beat the Titans 41-7. The Eagles beat the Vikings as Kirk Cousins threw 3 interceptions. Jalen Hurts had a great game passing and running. Eli Manning goes undercover to pretend to be a walk-on QB at Penn State. In the final segment of the hour, Gio brings up the viral video of a man breaking things in a McDonald's with a hatchet. A caller says if he catches the Judge HR ball he will give it back to him for free.  Hour 2: If Aaron Judge plays the rest of the way he will have played in 158 of 162 games. We also talked about what ball would be worth more, the record breaking HR or the final HR he hits in the season. Boomer also does an unboxing of his mail. Jerry returns and has Wayne Randazzo doing old time radio calls as the Mets beat the Brewers. Aaron Judge says he's focused on winning games and not the pressure of the HR chase. Boomer thinks Flacco throwing 59 times in the opener probably helped get on the same page with receivers for game two in Cleveland. With Josh Allen in the division, Gio says Zach Wilson has to be great. Boomer says you also have to watch out for the Dolphins in the division now too. Hour 1: Gio is on vacation this week so it's Boomer & Jerry. They started with the Yankees 1-0 win over the Royals thanks to an Aaron Judge walk off HR. Boomer says Brian Cashman needs to make a move because winning the World Series is the only goal now. Boomer says they need Juan Soto and Jerry insists that's not happening. They also talk about Jerry's tooth falling out. It was actually a temporary cap. With Jerry filling in for Gio this week, C-Lo has the updates and starts with Aaron Judge hitting a walk off HR to beat the Royals 1-0. The Yankees had no other offense other than that HR. Andrew Benintendi played his first game for the Yankees last night. Trey Mancini hit an inside the park HR after it hit the outfielder in his face. Kyler Murray held a press conference to say it's disrespectful to think he doesn't prepare for games. After that, the Cardinals removed the homework clause. In the final segment of the hour, a caller says bars never play Yankees games when they are on Amazon or Apple. There are still rumors out there that Ohtani is on the trading block. The Houston Astros are very interested in Josh Bell.  Hour 2: The 7am hour starts with talk of Daniel Jones and the Giants. If things don't go well, would Kyler Murray be a fit here?
