We had a blast talking to touring drummer/musician Drew Thomas. Playing since the age of 13 Drew has been apart of the early NYC Hardcore scene in such bands as Youth Of Today, Bold, Into Another as well as and more recently the band Dead Heavens. Go check all of that out. Listen in and hear about the dreaded tour butt and all it comes with being on the road. We also talk about a legend/pretty sure it's fake story about the world's longest shit. Enjoy. To see/hear Drew just follow #drewbeat and you'll stumble upon some of his work.
Rob Nobile is one of the founding members of NYC hardcore stalwarts Incendiary. On this episode we talk about how powerful it can be to support yourself OUTSIDE of doing music, while still taking your musical project very seriously. It is a hidden superpower that a lot of musicians sometimes ignore, but should be talked about more often! We also get into his guitar preferences, musical taste, and what it was like getting into the NYC Hardcore scene prior to the internet age. It is a banging episode. Enjoy! Kris goes solo again while Erik shrugs off some minor surgery, and just like the NYC Hardcore of the early to mid-80's tried to distance itself from a degenerating punk scene, Kris goes against the season's theme of Pop Music and gets a bit self-indulgent.
