Dean Delray's "Let There Be Talk." This original podcast is a unique blend of rock and comedy talk with some of the biggest names in music, comedy and entertainment.
let there be talk, dean delray, love dean, thanks dean, music and comedy, candles lit, handmade episodes, comedy and music, dean is a great, rockers, thank you dean, listening to dean, black crowes, deans, john mayer, gnr, earl skakel, spicer, rock talk, dean's podcast.
Listeners of Dean Delray's LET THERE BE TALK that love the show mention:The Dean Delray's LET THERE BE TALK podcast is a hidden gem in the world of music and comedy podcasts. I stumbled upon it after hearing Dean Delray on Joe Rogan's podcast, and I have been a loyal listener for years. This podcast has taught me so much about music and introduced me to new tunes through its amazing guests and informative solo episodes.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the wide range of guests that Dean interviews. He manages to bring in everyone from mainstream musicians to underground artists, creating a perfect balance between well-known names and hidden talents. No matter who he interviews, Dean has a genuine passion for music that shines through in his conversations. He dives deep into the details, discussing everything from specific bands to musical gear, and his enthusiasm is infectious.
Another great aspect of this podcast is Dean himself. Listening to him talk feels like chatting with a friend who shares your love for music. He is down-to-earth, real, and transparent about his own life experiences. While many people online put up a fake persona, Dean remains authentic and relatable. His openness about hard times is refreshing in a world that often promotes an unrealistic "my life is perfect" image.
While there are many positives to The Dean Delray's LET THERE BE TALK podcast, one potential downside is that some listeners may find it too focused on rock and metal genres. If you're not a fan of these genres, you may not connect as deeply with all the episodes. However, even if you don't typically listen to rock or metal music, this podcast offers insights into the history of these genres that can still be enjoyed.
In conclusion, The Dean Delray's LET THERE BE TALK podcast stands out as one of the best music/comedy podcasts available today. With its incredible guests, engaging host, and deep-dives into the world of rock and metal music, it offers something for every music lover. Whether you're a fan of mainstream or underground artists, this podcast is a must-listen that will broaden your musical horizons and keep you entertained for hours on end.

In 1980 I started hitting the San Francisco Bay Area rock clubs nightly. The Stone , Old Waldorf , Mabuhay Gardens, Uncle Charlie's, The Phoenix Theater , Keystone Berkeley, Cotati Cabaret. I had a huge thirst for Rock n Roll. Of course the big bands like Van Halen ,AC/DC , Judas Priest and Ted Nugent would come through town but that was like once a year so you had to find something more out there and that something was a blossoming local rock scene and the early kings of that scene was a band called Roadrunner. This band absolutely crushed it live and it seemed like over night they were selling out every club in the Bay. By 1985 the band was done. I will Never forget those days and especially my guest today lead singer of Roadrunner James Hume. I learned all of my early rock n roll lessons from this band. I don't think I've talked to James since 1985 so it was an honor to catch up with him and really hear his story. You may not of heard of Roadrunner but I guarantee you will love the stories. Today I sit down with Todd Mayo owner of one of the coolest concert venues in the world. Years ago a friend sent me a YouTube clip of The Chris Robinson Brotherhood playing at one of the most insane venues I had ever seen. It looked like the band was playing on Mars. I had never seen this venue so I dug in and did some research and found out it was called The Caverns, located in Grundy County Tennessee. This venue was created by my guest Todd Mayo and it quickly became a destination venue. Everyone has played there including Chris Stapleton, Lucinda Williams, Billy Strings and more. There are a handful of absolute magical venues in the world, Red Rocks, The Gorge, Hollywood Bowl, The Sphere and now The Caverns. Todd Sits down with me for an In-Depth conversation on exactly how this place came to be. Not only has Todd created one of the coolest venues in the world he also created an Emmy Award winning TV show on PBS called The Cavern Sessions.
