Theo Parrish is a Detroit legend who put out a series of edits on vinyl simply labeled Uget (ugly edit) that were lofi and interesting. I love what he's doing here and wish more editors would use this quick-and-dirty style. If I were to guess what's going on or wanted to construct an edit in this style myself, I'd start with original vinyl. After identifying the breaks and interesting bits that I'd want to loop, I'd record a bunch of needle drops into a simple DAW like Audacity then move them around and copy-n-paste them until I had a 10-minute banger like “Party Going On”. Don't bother quantizing anything, and make sure the record needle is old and the vinyl dusty. Chef's kiss. Denise Wilkinson wears many hats, (secretary, performer, grand aunty, etc.). My passion of the platinums and the music began dice 1990, I have a discography looked for and varied VINYL (REGGAE DANCEHALL URBAN HIP HOP RNB TRAP RMX SOUL FUNK old school to brand news) For three years I integrated the Parisian collective SCALAWAX ( record dealer DUB WIZE), period during which we confronted in several sound UK and organized the first French clash against BLUES PARTY in LA POTERNE DES PEUPLIERS (PARIS), After this period I worked in association with ROJAH MAFFE FM (organizer of the french championships of sound system) within the framework of a weekly broadcast of 3 hours on the radio Frequency Paris Plurielle, Between 1998 and 2007 I realized and produced 18 mix tapes (K7 and CD) in the Dancehall, the reflection the best singles of moment distributed in all France at the specialized record dealers reggae and hiphop. Refusing no invitation I occurred in several clubs parisian and played almost everywhere in France (club, festivals, coffee musik). BWS Chats w/ Original Member of Klmaxx Cheryl Cooley No one can forget singing the 80's classics, “The Men all Pause” and “Meeting in the Ladies Room.  The all female R&B/Funk band, KLYMAXX, took the music industry by storm.  KLYMAXX showed the world that they were more than just a group of pretty faces.  These ladies also possessed some awesome talent.  In 1986 they produced Billboard Magazines #3 song of the year, “I Miss You.”  Showing that whether you were ready to hit the club or just wanted to relax and unwind they had something in their repertoire that you wanted to hear. Co-founder and original member Cheryl Cooley has revived that 80's sound.  She has added some exciting new members giving the group that modern twist. During a time when the airways are saturated with sampled beats, unimaginative lyrics and synthesized music,KLYMAXX continues to be a trend setter and delivers dynamic vocals and uncompromised grooves.
