Olurotimi Akinosho, known professionally as Rotimi, is an American actor, singer, and model. He is known for his role as Darius Morrison on the Starz series Boss, and as Andre Coleman on Power. Wikipedia Before he left for Chicago to do Boss then Power, I had a chance to interview Rotimi. At the time he was just doing his music but obviously he got a fantastic agent and ended up getting some acting gigs too. This episode gives you the insight to where his head was at before all the great opportunities kicked in. Shanelle Gabriel has been labeled a virtuosa, and she definitely validates that statement as a soulful singer, a gifted writer, astounding actress, and advocate for Lupus awareness. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she has displayed her skills at colleges and venues across the country. She both opened and featured on the 6th season premier of HBO's Def Poetry Jam along with Jill Scott and DMX. She recorded a nationally televised promo for the 2007 NFL Draft. Shanelle shared the stage with Nas for his 2008 album release concert for "The N Word," and featured in Q-Tip's video for "ManWomanBoogie." She also performed and worked with artists such as Les Nubians, Redman, Erick Sermon, and with comedians such as Rob Stapleton and Michael Blackson. She was a member of the 2006 Nuyorican Poets Cafe National Slam Team and a competitor in the 2007 Individual World Poetry Slam Competition in Vancouver, Canada. Shanelle presently tours the US and abroad, facilitates creative writing workshops throughout New York City and promotes Lupus awareness. Her amazing debut album, "Start Something" fuses Shanelle's skill at spoken word poetry with her soulful, sultry singing. Kinetic 9 aka Berretta 9 is a member of the incredibly artistic group KILLARMY, an affiliation of the legendary group WU TANG CLAN. He is a gifted, talented MC originally from Steubenville Ohio. 4 Disciple, another Ohio native & the group producer of Wu Tang Clan introduced Kinetic to the group. Through hard work and determination, they became one of the earliest and successful groups that emerged out of the Wu Tang camp in the early 90's. They went on to record three successful albums “Silent weapon, for Silent war” (1997), Dirty weapon for Dirty war (1999) and their last one, Fear, Love and War on the (2001).
