They roll into the next Jumanji entry, talk what works and what doesn't with these reboots, then Frank delivers a spoiler-light review of Ghost of Yōtei on PS5, praising its deliberate combat, camera work, and Erika Ishii's lead performance. To close, Frank sits down with author and director Neal Fischer to unpack his new book Law and Order SVU Confidential, covering the show's 25-year run, Olivia Benson's cultural footprint, why SVU's New York location shooting matters, and how the series handles real-world issues. Timestamps and Topics 00:00 – Intro and episode rundown 01:12 – Tangled live-action casting 08:14 – Jumanji sequel update 12:10 – Ghost of Yōtei review 21:12 – Interview: Neal Fischer on Law and Order SVU Confidential 54:08 – Wrap Key Takeaways Tangled live-action can work if Disney keeps the tone and songs that made the animated film stick. Jumanji's modern run shines when it leans on ensemble chemistry and family adventure. Ghost of Yōtei is a standout PS5 experience. The duel pacing and camera language make every strike count. Erika Ishii's Otsu is a quiet, layered lead that fits a focused revenge story with memorable mini-bosses. SVU endures on the strength of Olivia Benson's throughline, headline-driven plots, and real New York locations. The show offers aspirational justice while compressing real timelines, which fuels both comfort and criticism. Early SVU seasons keep a cinematic edge; the newest season trends back toward moodier, noir touches. Memorable Quotes “This might be one of the most cinematic games ever. It treats cinematic like a design rule, not just a vibe.” “I feel like this blade's heavy in a way I sometimes don't feel in God of War.” “Benson has the empathy. Stabler is our subconscious anger. Together they work.” “SVU is New York. On-location gives it a soul you can't fake.” “It's a version of the criminal justice system we want it to be.” Call to Action Enjoyed the episode? Episode Title: Best Film & TV Coaches – Featuring Cam Awesome When it comes to coaches who shaped characters and culture, we've got opinions—and this week on The My Five Cents Podcast, hosts SoSo Juv, HLS, and Logical Genius step into the ring with none other than Cam Awesome to debate the Best Film & TV Coaches of All Time. Cam isn't just a guest—he's a force of nature. A 12-time national boxing champ, 3-time Olympic Trials winner, and the former captain of Team USA, Cam went from a bullied kid with a busted MP3 player to becoming one of the most decorated amateur boxers in U.S. history. After a suspension derailed his Olympic dreams in 2012, Cam rewired his mindset and came back swinging—winning three more national titles and qualifying for the 2016 Games. Now? He's a motivational speaker, stand-up comic, and unapologetic truth-teller using humor and raw honesty to explore resilience, masculinity, plant-based performance, and bouncing back from failure without losing yourself. In this episode, Cam joins the hosts to debate which fictional coaches actually coached up greatness—whether it's pushing underdogs to glory or breaking players down to build them back stronger. From inspirational speeches to next-level playbooks, the squad ranks their top 5 picks—and with Cam's unique perspective as a real-life elite athlete and mental health advocate, expect unfiltered insights and unexpected laughs.

As we will hear, sport taught her so much that has helped her in her career not least of all the value of team work and collaboration. Theresa was born in 1982 in Wallingford, CT, the eldest of two daughters; she has a sister Rosanne. Shortly after her parents Mario Vitale and Karen Weeks moved to Lawrence, NJ where her father could commute to New York, while her mother was the home care provider. Sports and music dominated her childhood—she played trombone for nine years — and tried every sport she could, eventually, and accidentally, discovering rugby. Her natural talent was soon recognized and within six months she made the squad which was competing for the national championships. Despite coming up short that year she did win the national championship with the US women's U23 national team in 2005.  Alas, her career called and she chose the University of Massachusetts for its BA in Communications degree with a focus on TV/Film, graduating in 2005. An internship with MTV in New York convinced her that she wanted to be a camera operator and from that point on doors opened and led the way to a highly successful career.  Her work has been featured on major broadcast, cable, and streaming networks, including ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO Max, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Showtime, Bravo, to name a few, specializing in docu-series, competition reality, cooking shows, studio shows, live music, documentaries, BTS and women's sports.
