Kingdom Citizens!!! In this episode, Samantha shares how we must rightly discern the gifts God sends to us. Gifts often times comes in the form of a man so we have to be careful that we're honoring the gift for its purpose and within season. As we mature spiritually, the gifts will be fitting for where we are. Remember that there is a season for everything so there may be a season to let go of certain “friends”. Don't be selfish, be selfless and flow with God. We pray that after listening to this episode you will not hardened your heart towards God and understand that it is vital for your growth to recognize what gifts you no longer need to engage with. Welcome to the Spark Influence podcast; This month we are focusing on love. In this episode, we are talking about finding our passion and loving what we do. We discuss why it is essential, how it can impact your life, and some tips on finding your passion. When you love what you do, it's no longer just a job, a calling and a passion, and it brings much more joy and fulfillment to your life. Scripture Reference Ecclesiastes 3:12-13 ESV says, "I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; 13 also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man." People that love what they do are more productive! Studies have shown that people who love their work are more productive, motivated, and have a greater sense of purpose. And it's not just about feeling good. Loving what you do also helps you work smarter, not harder. It keeps you inspired and allows you to maintain a positive outlook even in the face of challenges. Finding your passion Finding your passion doesn't have to be a daunting task. There are many simple steps you can take to identify what it is that you genuinely love to do. One approach is to think about your hobbies and interests. What do you enjoy doing in your free time? This often gives clues about what your passions are. Misty encourages people to pray and ask God where their gifting and calling line up in this season because God has gifted us to do the things he has prepared us to do from before the foundation of the universe. Try new things Another approach is to try new things. You only know what you might enjoy once you try it. And by experimenting with new experiences, you can broaden your horizons and discover new passions. And don't be afraid to take risks. If you're unhappy in your current job, it may be time to try something new. Whether starting your own business or changing careers, taking risks can lead to great rewards. (Talk about leaping to do your own thing) It's also important to remember that finding your passion is a journey, not a destination. It's okay if you don't have everything figured out right away. The most important thing is to keep moving forward and exploring new possibilities. So, whether you're just starting or looking to make a change, know that loving what you do is possible. And with the right attitude and approach, you can find your passion and create a life you love. Resources The Infinite Game Thank you for joining us, and we'll see you next time. If you knew today was your last day, what would you do and not do? [Scripture Reference: Ecclesiastes 3:12-13; 16-20] INVITATION FOR SALVATION If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in order to receive eternal salvation but would like to, according to Romans 10:9, all you have to do is confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and you will be saved. Want a little help with that, say this simple prayer: “Lord God, forgive me for my sins. I believe Jesus died for my sins and rose again so that I may have eternal life in You. So, I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Amen” It's as simple as that. Now, you're a part of the family of God. Wherever you are, find a local church or a group of believers that can help and support you on your new journey in your new life in Christ Jesus. Many blessings to you as you walk in who God created you to be doing what He blessed and equipped you to do. In today's episode with Kellie and Mikayla, we have joined with us, is our dear friend Lexcee Grant where we introduce the topic of joy in our journey. Our journey all starts somewhere though that journey doesn't come without heartache. BUT the important thing to remember is that those troubles and trials can produce joy if we let them. It's one thing to experience joy just because it's sunny outside and you've got the windows rolled down, but it's a whole other level of joy when we choose it in the middle of terrible news or in the midst of heartbreak. Without troubles, our endurance can't grow, and without endurance, our faith will fail. There is a purpose in your journey, we encourage you to embrace it. You probably don’t recall the very first time you were able to master drawing a line or a circle on paper with your favorite crayon or a chubby pencil. But any parent or grandparent will attest to the significance of such a feat. Yet these two simple geometric shapes first learned in childhood become even more significant when you consider how these two simple shapes impact how you will determine your world view, either linear or circular. For centuries, western Christianity authored itself through a linear world view with the natural order of life ordained by God. However, there is another option and its roots of origin may surprise you. Join Pastor Tony Minear, Ph.D. for an in depth examination of how our world view, be it linear or circular, affects not only the natural order of society and culture, but also determines the consequences and fluidity of life for the future.
