En este inquietante recorrido por algunos de los encuentros más desconcertantes del siglo XX, La vuelta al mundo en 80 enigmas presenta “Robot Cósmico”, un episodio dedicado a una hipótesis tan provocadora como lógica: ¿y si los primeros visitantes extraterrestres que han llegado a la Tierra no fueran seres vivos… sino máquinas? Todo comienza la noche del 9 de enero de 1976, cuando Jean Dolecki, un conductor francés agotado tras una semana de trabajo, presencia la llegada de un enorme objeto brillante que aterriza cerca de su camioneta. De su interior descienden tres figuras metálicas, torpes, de movimientos mecánicos, con extremidades semejantes a varas telescópicas: robots gigantes. Dolecki, paralizado por el miedo, observa cómo aquellas entidades regresan a la esfera y desaparecen a toda velocidad. Aunque su familia duda, un policía local le concede total credibilidad. Este caso da paso a un patrón inquietante: desperfectos eléctricos, emisiones anómalas en televisión, testigos múltiples y encuentros cercanos con criaturas que no parecen orgánicas. Un niño de 10 años afirma haber visto también a un “gigante brillante”. Las interferencias televisivas coinciden con los horarios del avistamiento. Y días atrás, otros habitantes de la región reportaron sucesos similares. El episodio avanza conectando esta idea con otros casos célebres: Minnesota, 1965: James Townsend se enfrenta a un “cohete” luminoso del cual emergen tres pequeños robots cilíndricos caminando sobre patas finas. Tras la retirada del objeto, su coche recupera la electricidad. Argentina, 1963: El camionero Eugenio Douglas es perseguido por un disco volador después de abrir fuego contra sus ocupantes metálicos. Sufre quemaduras inexplicables. Georgia, 1973: La señora Robinson se encuentra con un robot alto y metálico que rodea su coche; el motor queda sometido a un calor tan extremo que casi se derrite. Florida, 1965: Un jubilado, John Reeves, afirma haber visto un robot humanoide equipado con casco, guantes y un dispositivo desconocido que interpretó como un arma. A través de estos relatos, el programa reflexiona sobre una posibilidad fascinante: así como la humanidad envía máquinas —sondas, módulos, robots— a explorar el cosmos, otras civilizaciones podrían haber hecho lo mismo desde hace siglos o milenios. En este episodio de La vuelta al mundo en 80 enigmas, dirigido por Juan José Planos, nos adentramos en uno de los territorios más misteriosos del planeta: la Pampa de Nazca, en Perú. Pero antes, un caso extraordinario ocurrido lejos de allí, en Tres Arroyos, Argentina, abre la puerta a la gran pregunta: ¿quiénes han estado realmente entre nosotros? La noche del 30 de diciembre de 1972, el campesino Ventura Maceiras observa una intensa luz descendiendo del cielo. Aquella luminiscencia, cambiante y silenciosa, deja ver un objeto con cabina y dos figuras humanoides con casco, inmóviles, mirándolo fijamente. El encuentro deja en Maceiras efectos físicos profundos: náuseas, diarrea, caída del cabello, lesiones en la piel… e incluso un fenómeno imposible: una tercera dentición a los 73 años. Un caso que, aunque insólito, se suma a miles de testimonios similares en todo el mundo. “Silencio en la Base” La Vuelta al Mundo en 80 Enigmas – RNE · EDENEX En “Silencio en la Base”, Juan José Plans nos conduce a una de las etapas más intensas y desconcertantes de la oleada OVNI de 1973. El episodio comienza la noche del 16 de octubre de 1973, cerca de Manford, Oklahoma, cuando la familia Hatchett presencia un gigantesco objeto luminoso que parece seguir su automóvil, emitir un zumbido grave y envolver el entorno en una calma antinatural. La luz es cegadora, el aire se vuelve opresivo, y la conducta casi hipnótica del objeto provoca en Donna Hatchett el impulso inexplicable de acercarse a él. El caso —ignorado en su día por las autoridades— dejó en la familia un impacto imborrable: miedo, frío repentino y la convicción de haber estado ante algo con “poder ilimitado”. A partir de este encuentro, el programa expande el foco y revisa otros sucesos de la misma oleada: el famoso incidente del capitán Lawrence Coyne y su tripulación, quienes, mientras volaban en helicóptero cerca de Mansfield (Ohio), se vieron envueltos por una enorme estructura en forma de cilindro que inutilizó sus instrumentos, alteró la radio y, de forma inexplicable, elevó el aparato cientos de metros sin que ellos pudieran intervenir. “De Otro Mundo” La Vuelta al Mundo en 80 Enigmas – RNE · EDENEX “De Otro Mundo” nos conduce a algunos de los encuentros más desconcertantes jamás registrados: sucesos en los que testigos ordinarios afirmaron haber visto, tocado e incluso conversado con visitantes que, según ellos, no provenían de la Tierra. La narración se inicia en Francia, 1950, donde Claude Blondot, dueño del bar del aeródromo de Guillancourt, contempla dos extraños objetos circulares posándose en el campo. Lo que parecía una ráfaga de viento se convierte en una escena imposible: discos metálicos suspendidos sin tocar el suelo, una iluminación sin sombras y dos seres silenciosos que manipulan su nave como si afrontaran una avería. Blondot se aproxima, observa su interior —un habitáculo perfecto, luminoso, con mandos incomprensibles— y apenas logra arrancarles una palabra: “Energía”. En segundos, los discos ascienden verticalmente y desaparecen como flechas de luz. El episodio salta entonces a 1952, en pleno vuelo nocturno de un B-29 estadounidense. Su radar registra objetos que recorren distancias imposibles —superiores a 8.000 km/h—, maniobran alrededor del bombardero y acaban fusionándose con un objeto gigantesco, una posible “nave nodriza”. Los operadores, atónitos, confirman lo impensable: las lecturas son reales, los ecos no fallan, y nada conocido se mueve así. A partir de estos casos recientes, el programa amplía la mirada hacia un pasado remoto lleno de indicios inquietantes: – La losa de Palenque, interpretada por algunos como la representación de un antiguo astronauta. – Las pinturas prehistóricas de Tassili, donde figuras con “escafandras” parecen interactuar con la humanidad primitiva. – Los anales egipcios de Tuthmosis III, que describen “círculos de fuego” surcando el cielo. – Los vimanas sánscritos, máquinas voladoras impulsadas por mercurio. – Tradiciones del altiplano andino que hablan de culturas avanzadas surgidas “antes de que hubiera estrellas en el cielo”. – Y crónicas antiguas como las de Plinio el Viejo, que menciona los clipei ardientes: escudos luminosos cruzando el firmamento. “De Otro Mundo” no afirma certezas, pero tampoco esquiva la pregunta: ¿Ha estado la humanidad acompañada —o visitada— desde tiempos remotos? En La Puerta Cósmica, Juan José Plans nos conduce hasta los bosques nevados del sur de Finlandia, donde el 7 de enero de 1970 dos hombres comunes —el leñador Arno Heinonen y el campesino Esco Bilho, atléticos, sobrios y de carácter tranquilo— vivieron uno de los encuentros más desconcertantes de la historia ufológica europea. Mientras atravesaban un paraje cercano a Einharby, una luz en el cielo —brumosa, silenciosa, ajena a todo lo conocido— comenzó a girar sobre ellos hasta descender a apenas quince metros de altura. El objeto, discoide y metálico, expulsaba bocanadas de humo y un extraño tubo luminoso que descendía hacia el suelo. Del interior surgió un ser: delgado, pálido, con un rostro casi sin ojos, vestido con un traje ceñido y brillando con un fulgor fosforescente. En torno a los testigos, chispas de colores estallaban sobre la nieve sin causarles dolor. Una nube densa lo envolvió todo… y, tan súbitamente como había aparecido, el objeto desapareció, dejando a ambos hombres aturdidos, enfermos, con la piel insensible y la visión dañada. Su orina adquirió un tono oscuro. Caminaban como si hubieran recibido un golpe invisible. Los médicos que los examinaron no encontraban explicación clara: presión sanguínea anómala, rostros hinchados, síntomas nerviosos. ¿Miedo? ¿Radiación? ¿Algo completamente distinto? Expertos como el profesor Mati Turi, de la Universidad de Helsinki, consideraron que los efectos descritos podían corresponder a una sobreexposición a radiación de origen desconocido. Otros especialistas, como Gostor Ren, insistieron en la credibilidad de los testigos, su nula inclinación a la fantasía y la coincidencia del fenómeno con otros avistamientos en la zona. Recently, striking correlations between mysterious flashes of light captured on 1950s astronomical plates, reports of unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP), and atmospheric nuclear weapons tests of the same era have been revealed in a pair of new peer-reviewed scientific papers. Analyzing more than 106,000 short-lived "transients" from the VASCO project archives, the team found that such flashes were 68% more likely to occur the day after a nuclear test, and increased further when UAP sightings were also reported. A companion study detected potential solar reflections from flat, highly reflective objects in orbit before the first human satellites launched, with one event coinciding with the famous 1952 Washington, D.C., UAP sightings. Joining us on The Micah Hanks Program to discuss the new research is Stephen Bruehl, Ph.D., a Vanderbilt University professor of anesthesiology, who discusses the statistical analysis of the data collected on these unusual "transients," and why at least one-third of these pre-satellite flashes may represent genuine objects in high orbit, challenging long-held assumptions that such points of light were photographic artifacts. In an odd turn of events, officials have revealed unusual new details about an aircraft crash that occurred near Area 51 in late September. The crash, initially described as minor and non-fatal, has since taken a strange turn after investigators reportedly discovered “tampering” at the site, which includes the discovery of objects that included an “inert training bomb body” and aircraft material of "unknown origin." On July 1, 2025, a mysterious object was detected within our solar system. In January 1948, Kentucky Air National Guard pilot Captain Thomas Mantell died while pursuing an unidentified flying object near Fort Knox, after his P-51 Mustang went into a fatal climb. The U.S. Air Force later suggested he had been chasing a high-altitude Skyhook balloon, but many still regard the Mantell incident as one of the first major UFO cases of the modern era.
