We discuss that ending of Season Two of the Netflix Shadow and Bone show! We answer such questions as: What does Alina keeping her powers mean? Does the ending of this season break even the notoriously ambiguous rules governing merzost? What is the correct murder weapon to bring down an overpowered villain? And, of course: Did we actually just hear JJ walking back some of her Mal hate?? Spoilers for the Shadow and Bone trilogy, both seasons of Netflix Shadow and Bone show, the Six of Crows duology, the King of Scars duology, and — weirdly — Grey's Anatomy.
It's time for the final recap of season 2 of “Shadow and Bone,” “No Funerals.” The siblings laugh at the ridiculousness of the Darkling still trying to shoot his shot with Alina after everything that's happened, their hearts break for Kaz when he finally tells Inej how he feels and she turns him down, and they do their best impression of what Alina was thinking in that final shot. They wonder if “Shadow and Bone” will get a third season and what it would entail, and MK begs the universe for a “Six of Crows” spinoff.
#shadowandbone #grishaverse In the season 2 finale, Alina makes the ultimate sacrifice to tear down The Fold. Kirigan's plea for reconciliation falls on deaf ears. Faced with an impossible decision, Alina breaks a promise. Kaz attempts to make amends with Inej, as Jesper does the same with Wylan. Genya suffers a terrible loss. Sturmhond takes to the skies again, with a different face. Nina's attempt to get Matthias released is thwarted by Pekka Rollins. Alina puts her demons to rest, but a new threat during Nikolai's coronation may bring truth to Kirigan's prediction about her future. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fandomhybridpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fandomhybridpodcast/support
This week, the siblings cover the penultimate episode of Shadow and Bone season 2, “Meet You in the Meadow.” MK rubs it in everyone's faces that she always knew Nikolai loved Alina, they discuss the fact that you can respect bitches you also hate (bitch in question: Fruszi played by Rachel Redford), and MK and Libby drool over Tolya during his four-against-one fight scene. At the end, Teddy talks (a lot) about “Rick and Morty,” MK delves into her review of “Scream VI,” and Libby discusses how she loved Netflix's “Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.” Get in Contact: • Follow us at @Sisters_Who_Saga on Instagram • Email us any thoughts or questions at sisterswhosaga@gmail.comDon't forget to rate, review, and subscribe on Apple Podcasts (or wherever you get your podcasts)!
In the latest episode, Sisters Who Saga (and their brother) recaps episode 6 of "Shadow and Bone" season 2, “Ni Weh Sesh (I Have No Heart).” The siblings love how Baghra makes Mal her errand (bitch) boy the entire episode, they debate the possible reasoning behind The Crows' hallucinations, and they wonder what kind of “boning” is needed for Mal to pass his amplifier power to Alina. Things get out of hand when Ted shares his theory about flying babies made of light, the crew breaks out into a performance of NSYNC's “I Want You Back” (snapping included), and Libby shares a story about a man who had a butt plug in during an MRI. This episode is truly unhinged y'all.
#shadowandbone #grishaverse The penultimate episode of season 2 finds our heroes coming to grips with what destiny has in store for them. Mal is resigned to his fate, while Alina grasps at straws for an alternate solution. Kirigan enacts a horrific plan in order to flush out the Sun Summoner and the Firebird. Nikolai and his group are on the run after falling for a well-calculated trap. Tolya, Zoya, and The Crows make a stunning return to Ravka. Alina and Mal prepare to perform a miracle, but an attack by Kirigan has major consequences on both sides of the fight. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fandomhybridpodcast/message Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/fandomhybridpodcast/support

There were so many incredible moments like THE best kanej line making it to screen, a quick Ben Barnes thirst trap, new character story expansions, incredible fight scenes, and goth Zooey Deschanel. But there were also plenty of moments that we weren't the biggest fans of. Like the terrible lighting, the death of THAT character, weird scene directions, huge plot changes from the book, and goth Zooey Deschanel. Knocked out by the poison in Ohval's home, the Crows face down their deepest fears in their subconscious. Kirigan takes his fight to Keramzin in the hopes of drawing Alina out. Shadow and Bone is a fantasy series based on a successful set of novels. There's a lot to take in — at least six main characters, people who can wield wind and shadow and light, and a Chosen One. That all sounds familiar, but there's enough here to make this series worth your consideration. Shadow and Bone recently returned for a second season, so we thought it would be a good time to revisit our conversation recorded back in 2021 about its first season, featuring panelists Mallory Yu and Petra Mayer. Petra died unexpectedly later that year, and we always loved having her on the show. Even though we will always miss her terribly, we hope you'll agree how great it is to hear her voice, and her passion, in your podcast feed once again.
