The payments ecosystem is evolving rapidly, creating both challenges and opportunities for every player in the industry. In this thought-provoking conversation with Alexander Renzi and Aleks Teichman of MAPP Advisors, we dive deep into how ISOs, ISVs, banks, and fintechs can navigate this changing landscape.Alexander and Aleks bring unique perspectives from their decades of experience across all facets of the payments industry. They offer invaluable insights into the practical realities of growing a payments business today. Their firm, MAPP Advisors, works collaboratively with companies across the ecosystem, providing actionable guidance rather than theoretical advice. For ISOs facing unprecedented pressure from all angles – regulatory scrutiny, processor competition, and integrated payments solutions – the message is clear: adapt or perish. The most successful ISOs are evolving beyond transaction processing, building deeper relationships with merchants through value-added services. Bank-fintech partnerships represent another critical evolution in payments. What was once a vendor-client relationship has transformed into essential collaborative partnerships. Banks are no longer just fine print on merchant applications – they're strategic partners whose sustainability and approach are key considerations for fintechs and ISOs alike.Whether you're running an ISO, developing payments technology, or working within a financial institution, this episode offers strategic insights to help you navigate growth, regulation, and partnerships in today's complex payments landscape.

Watch the best scene reading: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrJ8KUPyDZ8 A young oceanographer discovers her gradfather's plane – part of the Lost Patrol – and is thrust into an emotional journey with a rebellious reporter as the government tries to cover up what really happened that night in 1945. The duo uncovers an extraordinary truth of how water, our most precious resource, has a will and consciousness of its own and is an active, seemingly invisible, participant in its own survival from human destruction. Get to know the writer: What is your screenplay about? In LIFESOURCE, well known historic events (the disappearance of 5 war planes we've come to call the lost patrol in 1945), a government cover-up, mysterious deaths and a romance, all come together when humanity's killing of its life source (all of Earth's water sources) reaches a tipping point and humanity and water are out of harmony. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie? It speaks to what humans are doing to the water sources on our planet and the value systems we've chosen to embrace and at the same time it stands on its own as a fun ride while creating awareness. ¡Conoce a nuestro nuevo co-host! In this episode, I welcome Antoni Poblocki to discuss his impressive strength achievements, particularly his recent half-bodyweight press of 40 kilograms. Antoni shares how he discovered my work through a friend's recommendation and his journey into kettlebell training. He also discusses his passion for historical reenactments, focusing on the early medieval ages in Europe, and how that has influenced his physical training. Antoni explains the evolution of his kettlebell training, from group sessions to individual work at home, and the strategies that helped him achieve his recent pressing milestone. Looking ahead, he outlines his plans to potentially complete the SFG2 certification and participate in a challenging "Top Team" competition in Poland. Throughout the conversation, Antoni and I explore the cultural and historical significance of strength training, particularly in the Polish context. Join us as I, Michael Gayed, publisher of The Lead Lag Report, engage in a compelling dialogue with Aleks Svetski, a seasoned Bitcoin enthusiast and entrepreneur, who shares his transformative journey from skepticism to profound understanding of Bitcoin's intricate relationship with global economic systems. Together, we unravel the constant waves of criticism Bitcoin faces, from claims of being a Ponzi scheme to the challenges posed by emerging technologies such as quantum computing. Aleks offers a unique perspective stemming from his entrepreneurial background, shedding light on the complex interplay of volatility, risk, and earning, which has enriched his relationship with Bitcoin. We navigate the contentious discussions around quantum computing's potential impact on Bitcoin and cryptography. Aleks and I delve into the skepticism surrounding quantum computers' ability to outperform traditional technology while exploring the potential benefits they could bring to Bitcoin, such as enhanced security and increased hash rates. We also ponder whether Bitcoin can truly transform societal structures by addressing broader issues of inequality and fairness. Our discussion challenges the notion that simply fixing monetary systems can solve deep-seated human behaviors, advocating instead for a focus on fairness over forced equality. Finally, explore with us the profound themes in Aleks' latest work, "Bushido of Bitcoin," which weaves together philosophy, ethics, and visionary storytelling to provide a sophisticated narrative on Bitcoin's potential. This book is more than just a critique; it's an invitation to foster critical thinking rather than blind optimism about Bitcoin's role in governance, culture, and wealth. Aleks recounts his personal transformation throughout 2022 and 2023, finding renewed energy in nuanced discussions, leading him to share his insights in the book. With parts available for free at BushidoBitcoin.com, listeners are encouraged to engage with Aleks' work and join the conversation on Bitcoin's evolving landscape.Today's sponsor is Ringtree, the smart choice for small business phone systems. The importance of variety in training - Historical approach of old-time strongmen - Integration of wrestling, gymnastics, and other forms of training - Modern specialization and lack of overall strength and adaptability - Being 90% good at many things vs. 100% at one specific thing 4. Professional bodybuilding techniques and hypertrophy - Ronnie Coleman's emphasis on the lower portion of the lift - Biceps, triceps, and rear delts and their relation to hypertrophy - Barbell curl as the "king" of bicep exercises - Importance of consistent progress over going to failure 9. Loaded stretch and programming - Loaded stretch not the primary driver of hypertrophy - Importance of exercises with high poundage potential - Incremental weight jumps and their impact on programming - Combining various exercises for overall strength and hypertrophy 10. Paradigm shift in training approaches - Lifter A vs. Lifter B and their different training approaches - Lifter B's higher volume leading to greater progress despite lower growth stimulus per set - Challenging the traditional view of training to failure 11. Real-world applications and practical insights - Mail carriers and mechanics as examples of sub-maximal training - Anecdote about chopping trees with an ax - Arnold Schwarzenegger's intuitive training methods 12. Critique of sports science and modern training - Limitations of sports science studies and the need for contextual understanding - Learning from the best in the field, such as Charles Poliquin - Practical, real-world experience in training 13.
