La Porta | Renungan Harian Katolik - Daily Meditation according to Catholic Church liturgy

In this powerful and practical episode, Aleks sits down with Lindsay Ferguson — cold plunge guide and women's wellness advocate at Framework in Nashville — to dive deep into the science and nuance of cold plunging for women. Together, they explore how women can safely and effectively use cold immersion for nervous system regulation, mental clarity, and hormonal balance. You'll learn: When women should avoid cold plunging (and why) How to tailor your protocol to your cycle and hormones What the ideal temperature and duration are for results without overstressing the body Why timing matters (morning vs. evening plunges) How cold exposure impacts cortisol, dopamine, and stress resilience The difference between how men and women respond to cold — and why women need a more intuitive, body-led approach Whether you're just getting started with cold plunging or looking to refine your protocol, this episode will help you build a practice that supports your nervous system, not one that overrides it.

Watch the best scene reading: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrJ8KUPyDZ8 A young oceanographer discovers her gradfather's plane – part of the Lost Patrol – and is thrust into an emotional journey with a rebellious reporter as the government tries to cover up what really happened that night in 1945. The duo uncovers an extraordinary truth of how water, our most precious resource, has a will and consciousness of its own and is an active, seemingly invisible, participant in its own survival from human destruction. Get to know the writer: What is your screenplay about? In LIFESOURCE, well known historic events (the disappearance of 5 war planes we've come to call the lost patrol in 1945), a government cover-up, mysterious deaths and a romance, all come together when humanity's killing of its life source (all of Earth's water sources) reaches a tipping point and humanity and water are out of harmony. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie? It speaks to what humans are doing to the water sources on our planet and the value systems we've chosen to embrace and at the same time it stands on its own as a fun ride while creating awareness. ¡Conoce a nuestro nuevo co-host! In this episode, I welcome Antoni Poblocki to discuss his impressive strength achievements, particularly his recent half-bodyweight press of 40 kilograms. Antoni shares how he discovered my work through a friend's recommendation and his journey into kettlebell training. He also discusses his passion for historical reenactments, focusing on the early medieval ages in Europe, and how that has influenced his physical training. Antoni explains the evolution of his kettlebell training, from group sessions to individual work at home, and the strategies that helped him achieve his recent pressing milestone. Looking ahead, he outlines his plans to potentially complete the SFG2 certification and participate in a challenging "Top Team" competition in Poland.
