We start by hearing to the love story of Gian and Nora, the hosts of Bumping Uglies, a podcast that serves as a platform for Latinos artists and athletes in The United States. Nora Cazares is an actor, writer and voice over actor from Craig, Colorado who was raised by Mexican parents. Gian Carlo is a comedian and actor from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, living in Denver.  We also hear from  Melissa Rocha, a Brooklyn based comic who is originally from Texas. She’s a proud Mexican-American. She performs all over NYC and was most recently at Let’s Fest in Indiana. Love happens in different ways, and sometimes we end up in long distance relationships... not ideal situations, but what can we tell the heart?... the heart always wants what it wants.    Tami Gatta is an experienced creative arts therapist in the New York, and today she tells us her point of view of long distance relationships and gives us a few tips on how to keep them alive.   Joe Charnitsky tells us about what is like dating in New York... distance might be a make it or break thing.   Meghann Perry is a certified addiction recovery coach, actor, storyteller and teaching artist. She works with adolescents and adults seeking recovery from addiction, and loves to combine her background in the performing arts and her work with this population in her many projects like Improbable Players, Recovery Storytelling, and the Moving Stories Foundation. Johnathan Appel started performing comedy while living in Taiwan and has performed most venues in New York City. Two years ago we started Singleling, and this January 23rd we celebrated it with a show and party at LPR in New York City. This show features stories by: Sydnee Washington and Calvin Cato, stand up comedians in New York and performing for the first time on Singleling. Sandi Marx, a resident on Singleling, has been on tour with us and has appeared in several of our episodes. Gianmarco Soresi, storyteller and comedian, returning back to our show with one of the most heartful stories on our entire 2 year series. This show we wanted to make it different, for this reason we invited Pavel Rivera, the producer of our theme song, and a great musician. And, as always, the show was produced and hosted by Vanessa Valerio. A dating expert, only because of too much practice. Special thanks to Alex Tabar and Ramon Cabrera who recorded this show.
