This week on Next on the Tee, I'm kicking things off with Courtney Weber, one of the stars of last year's PGA Merchandise Show in my opnion. Courtney, works alongside our good friend Rob Strano at the Strano Golf Academy down in Destin, Florida. She took center stage last year at the PGA Show to talk about training and fitness, and she's back on the show to share even more insights. As a Level 3 TPI-certified expert with additional certification from Golf Digest, she'll guide us on how to improve our flexibility, build strength, and prepare our bodies to play our best golf. Her positivity comes shining through the speakers. Then, we welcome back Champions Tour Pro Rob Labritz, one of the most positive and approachable guys in professional golf. Rob's infectious energy and passion for the game make him a fan favorite, but last season came with challenges. After battling a back injury in the second half of the year, he narrowly missed keeping his Champions Tour card by just two spots and around $20,000. Despite the setback, Rob kept grinding, trying to make it into the Charles Schwab Cup playoffs. We'll hear his reflections on last season, what he's learned, and what's next for him in 2025. It's an episode filled with inspiration, resilience, and expert advice—thank you for pressing play and let's get to who's Next on the Tee!

Hilary and Jaymi talk about reading tarot for your self and Mary K Greer's Tarot for Yourself. Strangely the two do relate, and cross over, and we feel it's time to chat about the connections and our observations. We discuss what happens when the cards call you out and go a lot deeper than you expected for reading material. And we share stories of when tarot came for us when reading for others. Homework: Record readings from others and get permission to write that down. See if there's a message for you in them. Learn to discern how this happens. Usually, tarot uses the information from the cards that readers lay on the table. But what about what doesn't show up? Can it tell us anything? Hilary and Jaymi talk about how one can read between the lines and show what's missing from what doesn't appear in a spread. Jaymi views cards in a spread as the main focus. When cards or suits don't appear, they're unimportant; things are a-ok. The real answer is what's being shown. However, Hilary sees things differently. Listen in to hear her framework. Homework: Do a few readings exploring missing cards or seeing what's not on the table. See how this expands your readings for both yourself and others. We Recommend: Tarot for One by Courtney Weber – which contains info from Hilary on this. Also a great resource for anyone wanting to read for themselves. Representation matters. Melissa, Hilary, and Jaymi talk about their queerness and how we can see beyond the gender to get to the core of their energy. Jaymi's mission is to remove the binary from the cards and give readers and sitters the power to create their own language for gender inside the cards. Hilary wants the bi-erasure to stop and to know that when we share our queerness with others it is with honor and privilege. And Melissa sees you. Really. Please do not out anyone who is queer, it is not safe to do so everywhere. It's hard to imagine a more misunderstood and misrepresented form of religious expression than witchcraft. And the definition of "Witch" is as wide and varied among those how practice witchcraft as the definition of "Muslim" or "Christian" is to those who practice Islam and Christianity. Hilary Whitmore, Kanani Soleil, and Courtney Weber launched the podcast That Witch Life in part to untangle and demystify modern witchcraft, and in the process created a show that is thoroughly engaging, warm, hilarious, and insightful. The three best friends and practicing witches joined John to talk about how they all wound up together in the Pacific Northwest and how their respective spiritual journeys converged around witchcraft - and, furthermore, what witchcraft is and isn't. You can find more about more about them and their podcast at the That Witch Life website.

Courtney Weber has been practicing Witchcraft since her teens and is the author of several books. My favorite of these is Brigid: History, Mystery, and Magick of the Celtic Goddess, most likely because I too am a Brigid devotee. Courtney's Tarot for One: The Art of Reading for Yourself is one of the best tarot books I've ever read and I highly recommend it. Courtney has also written books on The Morrigan (which was released in late 2019) and the upcoming Hekate: Goddess of the Witches in 2021. My next book is called The Horned God of the Witches so I look forward to something of a Witch-off between Horn Head and Hekate during the show. In addition to writing, Courtney also reads Tarot professionally and even put together her own Tarot deck, the Tarot of the Boroughs, a contemporary photographic Tarot deck set in New York City. She's also one of the hosts of That Witch Life with Hilary Whitmore and Kanani Soleil, having guested on their podcast I can tell you it's pretty fabulous.

Courtney Weber – The Morrigan: Celtic Goddess of Magick and MightAired Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at 5:00 PM PST / 8:00 PM ESTIn the beginning of civilization, the feminine divine was preeminent. Sacred images of the Goddess have been found in archaeological digs around the world. Goddess images represented all aspects of life from birth to death. Dating back to at least 1200 B.C. in Pagan Ireland, The Morrigan was the Goddess of war, witchcraft, death, protection and retribution. She was also the Patron of motherhood, healing, shape-shifting and the land. What can women, and men, learn from this powerful feminine figure? In this time of the “Me Too” movement and a resurgence of women’s empowerment, how can the story of this “Celtic Goddess of Magick and Might” inspire and awaken us?My guest this week on Destination Unlimited, Courtney Weber, shares her exploration of the mythology and history of The Morrigan and what it offers to those who seek a renewed perspective on the power of the feminine divine.Courtney Weber is a Wiccan priestess, writer, tarot adviser, metaphysical teacher and social activist. A practicing Witch since her teens, her passion is bringing the wonders of magick to our modern world. She is the author of Brigid: History, Mystery, and Magick of the Celtic Goddess and Tarot for One: The Art of Reading for Yourself. Her website is courtneyaweber.com and she joins us this week to discuss her new book, The Morrigan: Celtic Goddess of Magick and Might.

Hello Wigglians! We just had the opportunity to interview two fantastic Red Wheel/Weiser authors and they are ready to go for Episode 143 of The Wigglian Way. First, I spoke with Courtney Weber who wrote the most useful (to me) tarot book yet. It's called Tarot for One. There are exercises for you to do to better know yourself and tarot. The second interview is with the writer of Love Magic, Lilith Dorsey. Considering how Wigglians feel about love magic in general, this book is a keeper. Not only does Lilith have great spells for all kinds of love, she discusses the ethics of love magic, which to us, is quite important. Our Feature Album for this episode Meredead, by Leaves Eyes. We hear: 1. Meredead 2. Velvet Heart 3. Spirit's Masquerade We also hear 2 Know, 2 Will, 2 Dare, 2 Rock from the album Tip My Cup to the Gods, by Witch's Mark. To complete the musical part of the show we have Pandemonaeon (so sexy) with Lover's Pardon from Dangerous Beauty. You are all Wigglian Dangerous beauties and we love you! Thanks for listening.
