Lonzo talks about Tekashi 69
After a very slow news week Geese issues an apology for a misinterpreted follow Instagram notification; incidentally kicking off a count down of specific "head" types. Within those types a Wells Fargo employee of the month takes a call on the money phone, Takashi69 sentencing, Nick Cannon self proclaims victory in battle with Eminem , and the poor party goer who got his phone snatched by Jay-Z. We talk reconciliation with some of hip-hops most prominent stars. Geese asks a few thought provoking questions that require some deeper levels of thinking. Finally finishing with Street Fighter 5 news with the reveal of SF4's arch villain Seth.
We start the show talking about halloween costumes and John Witherspoon. This leads to us talking about Betty White and Cecily Tyson. They both old as fuck. The light skinned coalition popped up. Ole Chic Fil A ass niggas. Even CJ doesn’t like Kanye’s new album. The church of Beyoncé is discussed. Lil Kim’s dad died and of course Ced finds a way to make a joke of it. Who is going to do a song with Takashi69 first? Who’s the toughest nigga from Canada? Would you be shocked if Megan the Stallion turned out to be a guy? Mac wouldn’t and he gives you a good reason why. Summer Walker don’t wash. What’s a yoni? We give you women hygiene tips. It goes all the way wrong. Mac is BACK to Baby Boy. And we may have discovered where the term “$40" came from. Slutted out is explained…somewhat. Cport Mike and CJ ran into each other. And a listener tells us another way to find out if your girl is cheating on you. It’s been a great short vacation! The show is back! For this show, I talk about what would I do in the BIG LEATHER CHAIR?! How would I get things started? It would be like the scene in The Chronicles of Riddick when Riddick got the chair after defeating Lord Marshall, leader of the Necromongers! LOL

When you think of the word Survivor you typically associate the word and synonyms related as being a product of war. Somehow avoiding an untimely demise even in the face of the most overt adversity. On Floyd 1:18 this week we took a look a the toughest war of them all, man versus himself. Our two guest epitomize just that, Survival. Independent recording artist and C.E.O. of Life Struggles Ent , Ream Ahki , joined us to promote his newest project and first official album to be released on all DSPs this summer. Bee Lyn, our guest host is a community advocate , social worker, and creator of Pain 2 Purpose , a Cancer Advocacy group that focuses on assisting with the hardships that come along with the disease. From the Kodak Black recent arrest to the shootings at Rolling Loud, Ream examined the reasons this generation of artist are finding themselves in such fucked up predicaments. Somehow we got on Takashi69 and Joel Embid crying his eyes out after another playoff elimination. Is it ok for men to cry? Bee broke down the role women have played in the way men show emotion. That led us to break ups and turn offs and everything in between. The highlight of the show came when we talked about the Fuck Cancer party Pain 2 Purpose presented to celebrate Bee Lyn defeating Cancer. In amazing detail she took us inside the ongoing fight that she has bravely endured and offered inspiring words that nearly brought the room to tears. No way you can miss this one. Hope you enjoy it. Be back next week.

Episode #31 Cardi B keeps finding her news in our show. More of the same. She is everywhere. She appeared to headline over Bruno Mars in Atlanta this weekend. And they had to turn people away. That's okay to Kunta because he feels like Bruno is just a replay of the 80s. Did we mention why btoh of them are in town? Yeah Atlanta is hosting the Super Bowl and we relutantly made our picks. Although, no one outside of Massachusetts likes the Pats, we both feel like it isn't time for the young QB. Takashi69 may have copped a plea. Kunta feels like this was expected. However, I want to discuss an alternate position. Are the OGs treating this kid unfairly considering he is an entertainer and most likely not a gangster? Don't snitches get stitches? Should they? Or should they be allowed to continue making money? Can we get a domestic violence charge against the woman that dismembered Bow Wow's face? Meanwhile, can we agree that the Empire star may have some funny business going o with his attack? Adjacently, Corey Booker throws his hat in the ring. "Come on out" and vote. Screech!!! Viriginia has a Governor hopeful that posed in a school-aged picture with black face and klan hoods. Then he tried blackface again later in his life. Did we mention that his nickname is The Coon Man? I have finally found something to agree with Kunta on. Throw his butt away.

Do Joe Budden have an issue with rapper mysonne? Today on the Joe Budden podcast Joe Budden Rory Mal and parks was discussing Tory Lanez and all the rapper's recently dissing him. They spoke about Don Q J R writer Dream doll and they're diss songs aimed at Tory Lanez. For some reason Joe Budden avoided bringing rapper mysonne into the conversation. Even after he was contemplating any rappers they may have missed, parks reminded him of mysonne and Joe Budden quickly disregarded parks. Which seemed Mighty Shady. for me personally this is sad because Joe Budden today is regarded as the voice of the people within this culture of hip-hop. and rapper mysonne is definitely on the front line when it comes to our people struggles and community. DMX first interview since being released from a federal penitentiary. BMX sit down with Big Boy Radio to discuss the current state of hip-hop and how young rappers are promoting drug use. When it comes to sexual harassment and other allegations, Hollywood and the music industry has been (rightfully so) under heavy attack in the past couple of years. But, we are so quick to judge and to point fingers at those that have been accused for being garbage human beings, without any real proof. In the case of Datsik, there have been accusations made, through Twitter about what has happened on his tour bus. But it's all heresay. Most of the accusations come from "a friend of a friend" and of course the huge damning evidence of the backstage passes themselves which have "TUL$A" written on them. If you look at the picture I've included, the "L" on TUL$A is written backwards. on the other picture, you can clearly see "A" has been scratched out. Are these just made up or are they the real thing? My gut instinct says that these pictures were created to add fuel to the fire. Yet, Datsik lost sponsors, stepped down from his postion at his record label, and canceled his tour. Yet, TakashI69 (google him), confessed to rape and is a pedofile (convicted) and still continues to tour and make music. So what's the real story? Well, it's somewhere in between. Did the stuff happen? You can bet that the TUL$A thing did happen. This stuff with artists touring has been going on since touring was invented. This isn't new and for people to get all up in arms about it, as if it were some mighty revelation of a hidden secret is a sham. Groupies exist. It's part and parcel of the game. We go after artists like Datsik, because it's easy. They're the sacrificial lambs so that there isn't a deeper investigation into the music industry and there should be. BTW, another group that was arrested and charged with rape was the Death Metal/ Black Metal group Decapitated. They were found innocent after almost 8 months.
