What if leaning into imposter syndrome can help you? We all have self-doubt and even if you don't believe in yourself, you never know who you can reach if you put your work, thoughts, ideas, music, art, and emotions out there. I was so afraid to release my first podcast episode 1 year ago and I felt like it wasn't “good enough”, but it ended up being my most downloaded episode where I had to most feedback! I had to lean into my own insecurities (it sounds weird I know) and just trust that it was better to put myself out there then keep holding everything in. In this episode I also share what we can learn by being alone and the value of asking ourselves deep questions. I often try to project what I desire or what I feel like I'm missing in life because I'm too scared to sit with myself and soul search. We go into a few ways we can begin to feel empowered while being alone and how slowly breaking down our walls can lead to eye opening self-growth. What drives shame? Is it self preservation, fear, negative core beliefs, or insecurities? In this episode we discuss what being vulnerable might look like and how this is connected to shame in society. Using inspiration from Brené Brown's TED talk “Listening to Shame” and one of my new favorite quotes, we dive into opening up authentically and why vulnerability and shame are NOT a sign of weakness, but a display of courage. Energy levels, flexible vs. porous schedules, 60 second breaks, and reflecting on our habits are just a few highlights from this episode. Anthony joins us on the podcast this week to discuss gentle discipline and the value of prioritizing “finding modifications + options” instead of giving up on habits and routines. Together we're learning how to be kind to ourselves and not push ourselves into burnout, while also finding balance in our minds and bodies.Instagram: clare_goffxoTikTok: clare_goffEmail: cg.claregoff@gmail.com
How can we put down our computer, unplug, and take a deep breath to settle into the present moment? Let's talk about giving ourselves permission to dream of a relaxing vacation that you deserve and why it's important to take a break. If we are not creating time for our bodies to rest, our bodies might "make time to rest" in unexpected ways. Vacations don't have to be elaborate or expensive to be memorable, and core memories can happen at any moment. I have such beautiful (and crazy) core memories from vacations and small trips, which I share in today's episode as I reflect on how I view my personal experiences. In this episode, we talk about everything from dreaming, to taxes, to driving anxiety, to vision boards, and even a rocket launch! This unedited episode is one you won't want to miss.Instagram: clare_goffxoTikTok: clare_goffEmail: cg.claregoff@gmail.com
While exploring a gentle approach in my extended recovery from my eating disorder, I share some of the things I have learned along the way. Changing the way I view exercise, integrating non-appearance related compliments, and creating feelings of safety within my body through yoga have been a few key factors in facilitating trust with myself through this journey. Your energy and heart are the beauty that I value, and I hope you continue to experience healing with your own body, even if you have not struggled with food / body image in the past. We all deserve safety and love, and I appreciate you creating space to explore these ideas together. Instagram: clare_goffxoTikTok: clare_goffEmail: cg.claregoff@gmail.com
Feeling the pressure to be 'on' all the time and to be perfect was all I used to know. We're talking about society's unreachable standards today and how pushing ourselves too far can leave us feeling lost and unsure of who we are at the core. Finding my way back to healing has included different therapeutic and pharmacological modalities. As we dive into my medication journey, I also share the details of my migraine and ADHD struggles in an effort to reduce stigma around taking medication for your mental well-being. To ring in my 25th birthday I'm coming out of hibernation to share what I've learned in the last year along with past birthday memories. As someone who has struggled with mental health & trying to stay alive, birthdays have felt lonely, while simultaneously a huge milestone. This year I felt like all the major lessons I have learned were put to the test and maybe I'm slowly finding my way. I share why I've ditched the phrase “forgive & forget” and why this birthday has been feeling heavy & anxious as it approaches. You're not alone if birthdays feel full of feelings. We're in this together, love Clare.Instagram: clare_goffxoTikTok: clare_goffEmail: cg.claregoff@gmail.com

Once I starting visualizing my life as “different seasons” or “different chapters” I could lean into change more, which allowed me to break free from my inner critic and unrealistic expectations. The goal is not to shut down the emotions or run away from the panic, but distraction and coping skills can certainly help after coming down from those fight, flight, or freeze feelings. We don't need to automatically bounce back and start feeling “better” after a traumatic event. In this episode I share more about my relationship with my grandma, the chaotic story of speaking at her funeral, and how it's okay to feel lost + empty in the unknown.
