We continue The Return Series by rebuilding something many of us didn't realize we lost - the small moments. The everyday rituals, simple routines, and ordinary experiences that once made life feel like life. Remember when we had real hobbies just for the fun of it? Or when we actually went out into the world and had those quick, friendly chats with the librarian or the guy at the hardware store?Somewhere along the way, we traded all that "texture" for total convenience. Now, we've got everything delivered to our doorstep and we've turned our free time into a second job. If we aren't being productive or "optimizing" our day, we feel like we're falling behind. We've traded play for "projects" and joy for "billable hours." In today's episode, we're talking about why we need to bring back the "Sacred Waste of Time." We'll look at what it looks like to be a "regular" in your town again, why it's okay to be a total amateur at something, and how to reclaim those small, messy moments that remind us we were never meant to be this efficient.

This episode is part of The Things We Carry, a solo series shaped by the themes that stay with me after more than two hundred conversations on The Life Shift. Today I am talking about the small moments that end up changing everything. Not the dramatic events we can point to, but the quieter shifts. The split second where you choose something different. The small yes or no that later becomes a turning point. The thought you almost ignore until it finally lands. In this reflection, I talk about the tiny, almost invisible choices that shape who we become. The gentle nudges. The slow clarifying moments. The things that do not look important at the time but reveal themselves later as the start of a new chapter. Change is rarely loud. Healing is rarely obvious. Most of the time it happens underneath the surface, long before we can name it. If you are feeling stuck or wondering when your own shift will show up, I hope this episode helps you notice what is already happening inside you. Look for the little things. The small questions. The subtle pull toward something new. Those moments matter more than you think. They might be the beginning of your next life.

Over the next four weeks, Jason is sharing a series of stories that shaped him and the lessons they left behind. In this Coffee with Khalipa episode, he reflects on two moments from his time in the hospital while his daughter was battling leukemia. Neither story involves grand gestures or dramatic speeches. Just simple interactions. One with a family member. One with a stranger. Both left a lasting impact. These moments are reminders that you never truly know what someone else is carrying, or how deeply your words and actions might land. A passing comment. A small kindness. A moment of patience or awareness. They can stay with someone for a lifetime. This episode is about slowing down enough to realize that how you show up matters more than you think. Not just in big moments, but in the quiet, ordinary ones too.Sometimes the smallest things are the ones that never leave us.Thanks for tuning in to the Jason Khalipa Podcast!

In today's episode, on a still winter morning, a tiny frozen puddle becomes the beginning of a quiet moment of awareness I reflect on the beauty of our senses, how easily we overlook small everyday moments, and why career prestige doesn't always bring true fulfillment. Later, inspired by a powerful message from journalist Sami Hamdi, I muse about his idea of intention, sincerity, and the role each of us can play in addressing both local and global inequities. In a world connected through social media, our individual choices matter more than ever. This episode is a gentle reminder for me and you to slow down, notice what's around us, and consider how small actions and mindful awareness can contribute to a more compassionate, responsible way of living, choosing intention over indifference. Love and Peace Always, Amber xoxo P.S. If you'd like to support the podcast, please click here Thank you for your support!

In this week's episode of Uncomplicating Business, I sit down with my amazing friend Bree Bainard-Verruyt to (yes, once again) jump into the world of trust - and spoiler alert: it's all about those tiny, seemingly insignificant steps. We chat about how trust isn't some massive leap of faith, but something built in small, everyday moments. Bree shares her journey of learning to trust herself in business, letting go of perfectionism, and creating space for curiosity and growth. Plus? We talk about the challenges of finding and keeping white space (time to think!) and how we each manage it. What does “follow your intuition”actually look like in real life? In this episode, I share a small but powerful moment that reminded me how listening to even the smallest nudge can lead to much needed emotional release, clarity, and connection. This story starts with an album, a long drive home, and a moment of surrender… and turns into something that helped me process stress, find peace, and reconnect with the magic of being alive. It's a reflection on how our senses, our bodies, and the universe work together to guide us if we're willing to listen.Inside this episode, I talk about: ✨The sacred connection between music, memory, and healing ✨How tuning into intuition can regulate the nervous system and release stored emotion ✨Why small moments of presence can lead to massive personal growth ✨The beauty of art and creativity as tools for self-trust and expansion ✨How someone living their purpose can ripple out to support the healing of others ✨A reminder that your work, big or small, matters deeply to someone, even if you never meet ✨My reflections on the interconnectedness of mindfulness, grief, joy, and the spiritual journeyThis episode is a reminder that your inner voice is always finding ways to speak to you. Sometimes it shows up in a passing thought, a lyric, or through tears behind the wheel. Your only job is to listen and trust.===Subscribe to My Newsletter: https://amandavsevilla.kit.com/newsletter Connect with me for daily inspiration to live your purpose on on my socials: Instagram.com/flourishwithpurposepodcast/ Instagram.com/amandavsevilla/ Tiktok.com/@amandavsevilla/ Youtube.com/@amandavsevilla FREE Resources: https://bit.ly/FWPfreeresources By accessing this Podcast, I acknowledge that the entire contents are the property of Amanda Sevilla, or used by Amanda Sevilla with permission, and are protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. What's a big goal that you're working towards right now? Growing your coaching business? Signing more clients or increasing your revenue? Or perhaps it's a personal goal, like improving your quality of life, working less, or focusing more on your relationships. Whatever it is, that big change is possible for you. But even with that vision in mind, you may still struggle to stick with the path of getting there. In this episode, we'll explore the challenges that come with changing your life and how your daily decisions can create lasting change sustainably–one small choice at a time. When we set out to make changes, we often come up with a big plan of action. However, this can leave us feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or frustrated when we don't progress as quickly as we desire. I want to offer you this: sometimes, doing less and pushing less—while gently bringing daily intention into small moments—is much more powerful than even the biggest, grandest plan. Today, we'll talk about the trap of grand gestures and why we're drawn to dramatic change in the first place. We explore how inaction often follows those big attempts that fall flat, and the impact of the deeper things that are going on within us. When you combine mindset shifts with an understanding of the nervous system, examining the small choices in your life provides a gentle entry point to transformation with less resistance and greater ease. Small changes, made in small moments, can truly lead to the greatest shifts. We'll look at this through the lens of you as a business owner, as someone working toward personal growth, and as a coach supporting others through change. When you focus on daily decisions, you create your own step-by-step guide to lasting change—and you learn how to help your clients do the same. What you'll learn:Why small decisions are more sustainable than grand gestures when shaping the life you wantThe nervous system's role in sabotaging big change How energy cost impacts your ability to create lasting changeExamples of small daily decisions and how they build habits that drive transformationWhy the four fundamentals of lasting change are essential to this approach—for both you and your clientsYou can read the full show notes here.Connect with Molly ClaireMolly's Website: MollyClaire.ComMaster Coach Training 2026 Application Open Have a question or thoughts about the podcast? Small Moments, Big Calm Episode Description: In today's episode, I talk about the quiet power of small moments—the ones we often overlook. A slow sip of coffee. A breath before a meeting. A glance out the window. These tiny pauses may not seem like much, but they can become anchors of calm throughout your day. You don't need a retreat or a silent room to feel peaceful. You just need to notice the stillness that's already there—waiting in the spaces between. Key Takeaway: Lasting calm isn't built in hours—it's built in moments. Catch the small ones, and peace becomes part of your day. Quote to Reflect On: “The present moment is filled with joy and peace. If you are attentive, you will see it.” — Thich Nhat Hanh Thanks for Listening!
