What does “follow your intuition”actually look like in real life? In this episode, I share a small but powerful moment that reminded me how listening to even the smallest nudge can lead to much needed emotional release, clarity, and connection. This story starts with an album, a long drive home, and a moment of surrender… and turns into something that helped me process stress, find peace, and reconnect with the magic of being alive. It's a reflection on how our senses, our bodies, and the universe work together to guide us if we're willing to listen.Inside this episode, I talk about: ✨The sacred connection between music, memory, and healing ✨How tuning into intuition can regulate the nervous system and release stored emotion ✨Why small moments of presence can lead to massive personal growth ✨The beauty of art and creativity as tools for self-trust and expansion ✨How someone living their purpose can ripple out to support the healing of others ✨A reminder that your work, big or small, matters deeply to someone, even if you never meet ✨My reflections on the interconnectedness of mindfulness, grief, joy, and the spiritual journeyThis episode is a reminder that your inner voice is always finding ways to speak to you. Sometimes it shows up in a passing thought, a lyric, or through tears behind the wheel. What's a big goal that you're working towards right now? Growing your coaching business? Signing more clients or increasing your revenue? Or perhaps it's a personal goal, like improving your quality of life, working less, or focusing more on your relationships. Whatever it is, that big change is possible for you. But even with that vision in mind, you may still struggle to stick with the path of getting there. In this episode, we'll explore the challenges that come with changing your life and how your daily decisions can create lasting change sustainably–one small choice at a time. When we set out to make changes, we often come up with a big plan of action. However, this can leave us feeling overwhelmed, discouraged, or frustrated when we don't progress as quickly as we desire. I want to offer you this: sometimes, doing less and pushing less—while gently bringing daily intention into small moments—is much more powerful than even the biggest, grandest plan. Today, we'll talk about the trap of grand gestures and why we're drawn to dramatic change in the first place. We explore how inaction often follows those big attempts that fall flat, and the impact of the deeper things that are going on within us. When you combine mindset shifts with an understanding of the nervous system, examining the small choices in your life provides a gentle entry point to transformation with less resistance and greater ease. Small changes, made in small moments, can truly lead to the greatest shifts. We'll look at this through the lens of you as a business owner, as someone working toward personal growth, and as a coach supporting others through change. When you focus on daily decisions, you create your own step-by-step guide to lasting change—and you learn how to help your clients do the same. What you'll learn:Why small decisions are more sustainable than grand gestures when shaping the life you wantThe nervous system's role in sabotaging big change How energy cost impacts your ability to create lasting changeExamples of small daily decisions and how they build habits that drive transformationWhy the four fundamentals of lasting change are essential to this approach—for both you and your clientsYou can read the full show notes here.Connect with Molly ClaireMolly's Website: MollyClaire.ComMaster Coach Training 2026 Application Open Have a question or thoughts about the podcast? Small Moments, Big Calm Episode Description: In today's episode, I talk about the quiet power of small moments—the ones we often overlook. A slow sip of coffee. A breath before a meeting. A glance out the window. These tiny pauses may not seem like much, but they can become anchors of calm throughout your day. You don't need a retreat or a silent room to feel peaceful. You just need to notice the stillness that's already there—waiting in the spaces between. Key Takeaway: Lasting calm isn't built in hours—it's built in moments. Catch the small ones, and peace becomes part of your day. Quote to Reflect On: “The present moment is filled with joy and peace. Stop Outsourcing Culture to HR From Toxic to Terrific: Small moments create big shifts Episode 256 (Mike is based in Canmore, Alberta) ---- In this conversation we explore: The difference between workplace culture and humor—and how humor supports culture. Why culture is a company's number one competitive advantage. The visible and invisible signs of strong or weak workplace culture. The impact of leadership on shaping and sustaining culture. Why every employee contributes to culture—not just HR or leadership. How intentional values and small behaviors shape long-term culture. The difference between healthy and toxic conflict at work. Simple, practical ways to assess and improve workplace culture. How humor, rituals, and fun foster psychological safety and team connection. The concept of an "umbrella value" and its influence on decision-making. ----- About our guest, Michael Kerr: Mike is the author of 9 books, including, The Jerk-Free Workplace, The Humor Advantage and Small Moments, Big Outcomes: How Leaders Create Cultures That Fuel Extraordinary Results. Learn more about Mike Kerr, his services and books at https://mikekerr.com/ ----- Key Learning Points from the Interview Culture is a Competitive Advantage Culture impacts productivity, retention, customer loyalty, and overall performance more than strategy alone. Mojo Matters Mojo is the vibe or energy of a workplace—it can be felt and should be maintained intentionally. Humor Fuels Culture Humor isn't fluff; it builds psychological safety, encourages engagement, and reduces burnout. Leadership Sets the Tone Leaders act as culture conductors. Their words, mood, and mindset ripple through teams. Everyone Owns Culture Culture isn't HR's job alone. Every employee contributes to culture in every interaction. Small Moments Have Big Outcomes A culture is shaped more by consistent small gestures than by grand slogans or posters. Define and Live Your Values Real values are reflected in daily decisions, not corporate posters. Misaligned values create cynicism. Conflict is Inevitable—Make It Constructive Healthy cultures allow disagreement without blame or fear. Psychological safety matters. Assess Culture With Gut Checks and Simple Questions Ask: Would you recommend this workplace to a friend? What's one thing you'd change? Culture Attracts Talent Great cultures draw top talent. But to win them, you must showcase culture honestly and creatively. ----- ----more---- Your Intended Message is the podcast about how you can boost your career and business success by honing your communication skills. Figuring out how to notice leadership in your teen can feel so overwhelming, but you're not alone! Check out these 5 Fresh Tips to help notice leadership in your teen with teen leadership coach Lorraine Connell. You can learn more about Lorraine Connell on her Fresh Starts Profile.5 Fresh Tips to help you notice leadership skills in your teenager:Notice the Small Moments of Initiative: Leadership isn't always loud. Pay attention to when a teen takes action without being asked—whether it's helping a peer, asking thoughtful questions, or problem-solving on their own. These moments reveal natural leadership tendencies that often go unnoticed.Encourage Decision-Making: Give teens the space to make choices and own the outcomes. Whether it's picking their classes for next year, leading a group discussion, or making a personal decision, every choice builds confidence in their ability to lead.Redefine Leadership Beyond Popularity: Many teens (and adults) think leaders are only the loudest, most outgoing, or the ones with titles. True leadership comes in many forms—from quiet resilience to leading by example. Help teens see leadership in themselves by pointing out strengths like empathy, problem-solving, and persistence.Celebrate Mistakes as Learning Opportunities: Teens often fear failure, but mistakes are where real leadership growth happens. When they try, fail, and try again, they build resilience. Encourage reflection by asking, “What did you learn from this?” instead of focusing on what went wrong.Give Them Opportunities to Lead in Everyday Situations: Leadership isn't just for student council or team captains. It happens in group projects, family settings, friendships, and online spaces. Ask them, “How can you lead in your own way today?” and watch their confidence grow!

Practical strategies to break free from negative self-talk during a round. The power of mindfulness and micro-moments to re-center your focus. How to reframe failure as feedback and an essential step toward mastery. How to develop a "smart bomb" focus to stay on track amid external distractions. More About Jody From the earliest days as a coach, Jody has had a deep fascination with performance. His coaching journey started as a cricket coach and very early on he realised that performance is not just about having good skills and fitness. Connect your habits to your long-term goals, like improving focus or building resilience. Perfection Is the Enemy of Growth: Instead of aiming for perfection, aim for consistent improvement. Learn from your mistakes rather than fearing them. Fail Beautifully, Learn Relentlessly: View failure as feedback. Each missed shot or poor round holds valuable lessons if you're willing to reflect. Redirect Your Focus with the W.I.N. Acronym: When distractions arise, ask yourself: "What's Important Next?" This helps you stay grounded and present for your next shot. Self-Awareness Builds Confidence: Notice negative self-talk and consciously shift to neutral or positive thinking. Practicing mindfulness helps you catch and redirect unhelpful thoughts. Choose Your Experience on the Course: Decide how you want to feel during your round—calm, focused, or joyful—and set the intention to create that experience, regardless of your score. Small Moments of Stillness Lead to Big Changes: Incorporate micro-moments of stillness—like focusing on your breath or tuning into the sound of the wind—to reset your mind and stay present. Key Quotes: "Routine becomes easier when it's tied to something bigger than yourself."  "Perfectionism breeds mediocrity. Progress is the real pursuit."  "The inner game drives the outer game."  "Choose the experience you want to have before you step onto the course."
