    Very happy this week to be joined by Anthony Bilich. We break down what it was like growing up in the Upper Peninsula, playing college golf, his service in the Michigan National Guard and his deployment to Afghanistan. Anthony is also the 2021 Veterans Golf Association Men's Champion. The VGA is a nationwide golf program dedicated to enriching the lives of not only veterans but also their families.     Ira Molayo is the General Manager and Director of Golf at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas, TX. Ira joined the podcast to discuss his love of golf, history of Cedar Crest, and inclusion within the game. In 2018, Ira founded the I AM a Golfer Foundation to help bring about community renewal in South Dallas through golf and golf-related programs at Cedar Crest. Ira is everything you look for in a PGA of America Professional. He is a leader in his community who uses his passion for golf to promote and mentor the next generation.     Jeremiah Wilber, U.S. Special Forces & Founder of War Party Movement

    Jeremiah Wilber is a Warrior in every sense of the word. He was born in Ennis, Montana graduated High School in Las Vegas, Nevada and quickly enlisted in the US Army as Military Police (MP). As an MP, Jeremiah served two combat tours and completed the Sapper Leader Course and Army Ranger School. After graduating Ranger School, Jeremiah completed Special Forces Assessment and Selection serving in both 3rd and 10th Special Forces Groups as a Special Forces Communications Sergeant. As a Green Beret he deployed to both Afghanistan and Iraq. Jeremiah retired in 2020 and turned his attention to raising money and supporting veteran nonprofits. He is the founder of War Party Movement, an organization focused on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons.     Jake Trego is a husband, son, brother, musician and certified golf sicko. His life was turned upside down in Spring 2021 with a diagnosis of Stage 4 Colon Cancer.     Sam Stoddart, British Army

    Sam Stoddart stepped on a pressure plate while leading a patrol in Southern Afghanistan in 2012. The pressure plate triggered an IED blast that severely damaged his left foot and ankle. He spent the next eight years fighting pain, going through additional surgeries, and altering his quality of life before he made the decision to amputate. During recovery, Sam began taking courses through the On Course Foundation, a UK and US based origination focused on building personal confidence and sharing experiences of injured and sick veterans through the game of golf.     Joe Hanna, Bunkers in Baghdad

    Joe Hanna is the founder and director of Bunkers in Baghdad. Bunkers in Baghdad is a not-for-profit charity that Joe started in 2008 after seeing images of deployed troops hitting golf balls. He turned his Uncle's garage into a worldwide distribution center that collects and sends new and used golf balls, clubs, and equipment to our troops around the world. Bunkers also supplies golf equipment to Wounded Warriors Programs around the country to aid in the rehabilitation of our injured veterans. Their numbers are staggering: 12.5 Million Golf Balls 1 Million Golf Clubs 1400 Schools Supported and equipment sent to 75 countries and counting. She was born in Puerto Rico, lived through Operation Just Cause in Panama, moved from base to base in the United States, and made the decision to enlist herself after High School. Her 20 years of Government service includes 8 years active duty in the Air Force and multiple deployments in Federal Civil Service.     Toby Harnden is a US based writer, author, editor and former foreign correspondent for the Sunday Times of London and the Daily Telegraph. He has reported from thirty-three countries, specializing in terrorism and war. His latest book titled 'First Casualty' The Untold Story of the CIA Mission to Avenge 9/11 centers on a team of CIA Officers "Team Alpha" who quietly dropped behind enemy lines on October 17, 2001. One member of the team was John Michael Span who paid the ultimate sacrifice and became the First Casualty of Operation Enduring Freedom. The book follows the teams activities from activation, insertion, linking up with Northern Alliance General Abdul Rashid Dostum and his men, to their extraction home. Enjoy!     Mike Browne, British Royal Artillery

    Mike Browne is a veteran of the British Army serving time in the Royal Artillery. Mike broke his leg during a routine training exercise that ultimately changed his life forever. Soon after, the broken leg was riddled with infection. Twenty-two operations later, Mike made the decision to have the limb amputated to not only relieve the pain but improve his quality of life. During recovery, Mike noticed a flyer for the On Course Foundation. On Course is a UK and US based origination focused on building personal confidence and sharing experiences of injured and sick veterans through the game of golf. After starting golf in 2014, Mike progressed quickly and in 2016 turned professional. His story is not without its low points, as Mike discusses metal health throughout the podcast.     Jeremy Tindell is a retired Senior Noncommissioned Officer (March 2018) of the U.S Army who served with the 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. During his enlistment, Jeremy deployed 13 times in support of several campaigns to include Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom as part of Joint Special Operation Task Forces. He has also deployed to Afghanistan with an Aviation Task Force, helping fight the Global War on Terrorism. After leaving the Rangers, he served as a Career Counselor. Jeremy is currently pursuing a career in Veteran Support Organizations and the golf industry. Enjoy!
