Outdated References is a show about all the old things that we love like retro video games, television and movies. Being busy with our day to day life, OutDateRef is an opportunity for long distance friends to gather, catch up, and share whatever interesting tibits that pop up every week.

Nathan picks up some comic books and we just talk about the general annoyance with comic book collecting in general. But then we get to talk about the the new season of Star Trek Strange New World. Russ watched the new Superman film and does his best to not spoil it for me because I am is waiting to watch it with my brother, Adam , when he comes into town later in the month of July. There's no main show topic this week as we are waiting for "Star Trek Strange New Worlds" and Marvel's "Fantastic Four: The First Step" to drop later this month but we have a slew of shows to recommend, old and new. Mainly, go watch Gilded Age. We absolutely love this show. --Nathan

I got a new key issue to my comic book collection and I got a new , like New NEW, not just new to me. Eventually we start out spoiler chat about Last of Us but, more importantly, we get to sink our teeth into the juicy show that was Andor Season 2. -Nathan

We had to skip the usual pleasantries and just jump right into “The Last of Us” Episode 3 & 4, “Andor” Episode 4-9, and for May the 4th, all of the episodes of “Star Wars Tales of the Underworld.” After trying to cover all of those shows we talk about our opinions with “Marvel's Thunderbolts*” aka “The New Avengers” & Ryan Coogler's “Sinners.” Whew. Then we get into outdated baseball talk about torpedo bats and the long wait for the A's to eventually move to Sin City. Then Adam and Nathan complain about people abusing ATMs and the one main issue that annoyed the Bros with the Bank episode of Daredevil. Then Russ and I go on a tangent about anime and Adam bails. –Nathan

Russ, Adam, and Nathan are just not impressed with more “live action” versions of Disney cartoons. Showing some light hate at Gambit's Cajun accent. We also turned around, back to loving “Harley Quinn.” We finally jump into Disney's first Marvel big boy TVMA show, “Daredevil: Born Again.” --Nathan

This week it is a two man show with Russ and Nathan. Nathan really hates Amazon with commercials and Nathan enjoys Banana Ball. Russ went and saw Captain America: Brave New World. Nathan finished “Slam Dunk” and recommended to Russ some of his favorite slice of life anime then we started gushing about “Bofuri.” This week we continue with our excitement about the amazing show “Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.” –Nathan

We lost track of time discussing all of our stupid adventures and mishaps on "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II: Warzone: DMZ" mode, or whatever it's actually called, which totally leads into our discussion of predatory practices from gaming companies with their Download Content.
