In this episiode - Outta Bounds invites Macomb County Judge Mark Switalski to the show to discuss a wide range of sports topics and life.  Right out of the gate - Switalski tackles instant replay and how it's negatively impacting all sports. This conversation takes a deep dive into that topic and branches off into another great discussion on baseball and how the steroid era is viewed.  Also, a great discussion on college basketball in the state of Michigan and some great insight into the all-time basketball greats of Larry Bird and Pistol Pete and what it was like to watch them in person.

After a disappointing loss to a vulnerable Minnesota Vikings team in which the Lions only scored 3 field goals - the future looks bleak. Where do you point the blame? Doda and Steve disagree. This week the boys are discussing the Lions loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Could the Lions just as easily be a 3-1 team as they are a 1-3 team? What are the underlying issues with this current roster and coaching staff? Jim Harbaugh's Michigan Wolverines snuck out a win over Northwestern. Does that game turn up the temperature on Harbaugh's hot seat? MSU eeks out another ugly win over the CMU Chips. Mark and Doda make their MLB playoff predictions.

So, the Lions shocked the world and beat the Patriots. Should we all jump on the bandwagon now?  Gronk threatened to retire if he was going to be traded to the Lions back in April. What does that say for the appeal of playing in Detroit. Can this city draw premier talent for ANY of its sports teams? Should the Lions sell the future to get Le'Veon Bell? Harbaugh's Wolverines had a big impressive win over Nebraska. John thinks he's no longer on the hot seat but Doda's not so sure of that. How bout that Tiger Woods?

Former NFL receiver and lifelong metro Detroiter Lance Long joins Outta Bounds. Going into the new NFL season there are a lot of expectations for the Detroit Lions on both sides of the aisle. Doda and John think the Lions are going to have a disappointing season while Steve is still holding out hope. Now that the Lions have decided their roster - Lance gives his take on what it takes to grind it out and make the roster for an NFL team. What does it take to get to the pros? Hear Lance's take on how he did it... Doda thinks Jim Harbaugh's seat in Ann Arbor is officially sizzling. What was LeBron trying to accomplish with his new barbershop show?

The boys debate whether the President should be taking on one of the greatest role models in sports history. Why is Trump going after LeBron James on Twitter? Doda thinks Urban Meyer can't possible survive the scandal at Ohio State and explains why. Steve and Doda disagree about whether Jim Harbaugh is on the hot seat at the University of Michigan. MLB games are shorter by 5 minutes through 2/3 of this 2018 season but Doda and Mark disagree on whether that matters.

In this episode, the boys discuss whether the Rockets signing Clint Capela thrusts them back into Western Conference relevancy. In addition, does the expected addition of Carmelo Anthony make the Rockets better or worse? USA Basketball minicamp is underway and there is only ONE expectation from this star-studded team. Doda has a take on getting the inductees right.

In episode 53, Doda, John and Mark discuss who won the Kawhi Leonard-DeMar DeRozan trade. They also dive into the players vs. owners debate and choose a side. Tiger Woods showed signs of his greatness in The Open, but does that mean he's back? And will he ever win another major in his career? The NFL Anthem policy is back on hold while the league tries to figure out how to police the issue without upsetting players and the fan base. Does it even matter anymore? MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred calls out Mike Trout for not marketing himself and MLB enough. But is it really his job? Dirk Nowitzki will play his 21st season with the Mavs. Is it a big deal or is it nothing?

In this post-4th of July podcast - Doda, Mark and John discuss the winners and losers of NBA Free Agency. Was LeBron's decision to go to LA more than just a basketball move? What's up with Kawhi Leonard and why Doda thinks the Oklahoma City Thunder are the biggest winners of free agency so far. The Detroit Pistons hired Dwane Casey to be their next head coach and while John and Mark don't mind the hire - Doda has a problem with the process of his hiring and lack of hiring a GM. The Detroit Pistons seem to be on the verge of another bad coaching hire. Doda explains why John Beilein should get the gig. Unlike the Detroit Pistons in recent years, the Tigers did not make a draft mistake with the #1 overall pick in the MLB Draft. It might be time to forego the tradition of sports champions visiting the White House.

Doda Lulgjuraj wonders how JR Smith is even allowed to play basketball in the NBA after pulling a stunt like that boneheaded play at the end of regulation in game 1. Doda also believes the referees escalated the ending of the game which led to Tristan Thompson's ejection and unnecessary chatter at the end of the game. People might be upset about the overturned charge call on Kevin Durant but the right call was made. Can the Cavs recover after such a devastating loss?

In the 47th episode of Outta Bounds - Mark and Doda take a deep dive into the NBA Conference Finals. Doda sticks with his picks while trying to sway Mark over to the "good side." What's with all the blowouts in the playoffs, anyways?  Doda thinks it's a joke that the Las Vegas Golden Knights are in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals. Have they really earned the title "Hockeytown?" Should that be a Detroit-only nickname?  Becky Hammond's name is floating around for head coaching vacancies in the NBA. Is there room for a female in a male-dominated sports spectrum? In episode 45, Mark and Doda discuss the NBA Conference Finals. Doda thinks both series are already over while Mark is sticking with LeBron James and the Cavs in the East - and the Rockets in the West. The Detroit Tigers are all of a sudden competing for 1st place in the AL Central Division. Is there really anything to it or is this a temporary thing? Did Miguel Cabrera lose fans with his comments about not playing while he's hurt? You have to hear Doda's take on it. What will the Michael Jordan documentary do for the MJ-LeBron debate?

In this episode, Steve, Mark and Doda dive into Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs and make predictions for every remaining series. According to their thoughts - the West Finals will begin long before the East Finals are determined.  Doda thinks "The Process" ends in Game 7 at Boston. The guys disagree.
