Que temporada estranha teve o Giannis. Começou pedindo para ser trocado, causou dentro do time, isso que tem dois irmãos dele lá, acabou não sendo trocado, só para no dia seguinte aparecer como investidor de uma casa de aposta. Agora não sabemos se ele esta ou não machucado. Ele disse que poderia jogar, o time diz que não, e o rumores do tank descarado só pioram. Só que se vamos começar, vamos começar pelo começo. Falamos da semana da NBB, com o Flamengo conseguindo uma vitória para brecar a queda livre em que vinha. Vitória que tinha tudo para ter sido bem mais fácil, já que chegou abrir 26 pontos, mas foi de apenas 6 pontos no final. De qualquer maneira, é ótimo que tenha voltado a ganhar. O time perdeu quatro dos seus principais jogadores e claro que isso impacta na performance em quadra, mas ainda assim tem mais time do que vem apresentando. O Botafogo praticamente sedimentou seu lugar nos playoffs e só uma sequência perfeita do Pato Basquete, ganhando dos times mais bem colocados na tabela, poderia tirar ele de lá. Com a maioria dos times com mais dois jogos apenas, as posições para os playoffs estão praticamente fechadas. Mas antes, temos as semis e as finais da BCLA! E se preparem, porque a Fiba Americas aproveitou para apresentar a Youth BCLA que começará em Setembro e contará com times do Brasil, Uruguai, Argentina e Estados Unidos. Na LBF, o grande jogo da rodada foi entre o Sampaio e Campinas. O jogo foi muito pegado e chegou no último quarto empatada. Mas ai o Sampaio soube controlar e com uma defesa muito forte venceu a partida com propriedade. A Euroleague esta chegando no fim da temporada regular. Mas ainda assim não da para dizer as posições cravadas. Podemos dizer, claro, que os quatro primeiros (Olympiacos, o surpreendente Valencia, Real e Fenerbahçe) já estão nos playoffs, mas isso é tudo. Abaixo deles, com uma semana só de jogos faltando, qualquer um do quinto ao décimo pode mudar. Nas temporadas passadas, o primeiro colocado acabou se distanciando um pouco do resto, mas desta vez, nem isto. Foi também uma semana para falar da renovação da licença dos times com a liga e, justamente, Real Madrid e Fenerbahçe ainda não assinaram. Estaria pesando a possibilidade da NBA Europa nisso? Na WNBA, uma das trocas destas que bagunçam as previsões, e Chicago sendo Chicago. A Angel Reese deixou o time pelo Atlanta numa troca por picks que não fez muito sentido.
