Seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, B-Dog Brandon Harper, and Rob Jenners break down everything happening in the 2025 playoffs — and there's a LOT to get into on Episode 259. The Thunder are rolling. OKC swept the Lakers to go 8-0 in the playoffs so far, doing it without Jalen Williams and doing it in convincing fashion. Big Shot Bob gives his honest take on LA's future — including whether Austin Reaves deserves $250 million, what LeBron's exit interview really signals, and why the Lakers keep running into the same wall every spring. Then the guys get into Victor Wembanyama's elbow on Naz Reid — Rob makes the case he should've been suspended, and breaks down exactly why the NBA's handling of it sets a bad precedent. Should the league have at least hit him with a fine? Everyone agrees on that one. We also dig into what NOT suspending Wemby says about how the NBA protects its stars, and whether that chips away at what's fair for everyone else on the floor. In the East, the Knicks swept the Sixers out — 25 threes, a 30-point blowout, and Knicks fans completely taking over Philly's arena. The boys break down what that team is actually capable of, and size up whoever's coming out of the Pistons-Cavs series to face them. Spoiler: neither team looks ready. Plus: the Washington Wizards win the draft lottery, Draymond takes a shot at Charles Barkley on Inside the NBA (and the guys have some thoughts on that), Steve Kerr's Warriors extension, Jaylen Brown's $50K fine for calling out Joel Embiid on Twitch, and the Big Shout of the Week goes to a 73-year-old music teacher from England who remortgaged his house to save his neighborhood pub. We close it out with this week's game — All-Time Playoff Runs — testing Big Shot Bob on some of the best postseason win streaks in NBA history. Does he know the Warriors' 2017 run better than he thinks? Let's find out. Subscribe and leave us a review wherever you listen. The 2026 NBA Playoffs second round is heating up, and the Korner Booth crew has you fully covered. In the West, Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves evened their series against the San Antonio Spurs at 2-2 after a massive Game 4 performance. Edwards dropped 36 points, 16 of them in the fourth quarter, as Minnesota rallied back to knot the series. The big story? Spurs star Victor Wembanyama was ejected for throwing an elbow toward Wolves big Naz Reid early in the second quarter, and despite the no-suspension ruling, his absence opened the paint wide open for Minnesota to take over down the stretch. With Game 5 looming in San Antonio, this series is far from over. Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder continue to make the Los Angeles Lakers look overmatched. The Thunder have yet to lose in the 2026 playoffs, and OKC's depth, defense, and efficiency, combined with too many Lakers turnovers, resulted in a third-straight double-digit victory. LA is on the brink of elimination and running out of answers against the defending champs. In the East, the New York Knicks made a statement, sweeping the Philadelphia 76ers out of the postseason. The Knicks advanced behind a swarming defense and a red-hot offense, with Miles McBride, starting in the wake of OG Anunoby's injury absence, dropping 25 points on 7-for-9 shooting from three in the clinching Game 4. New York is rolling and looks like a genuine Eastern Conference Finals threat. Then there's the Pistons-Cavs series, which has the makings of a classic. The top-seeded Detroit Pistons hold a 2-1 series lead after dropping a wild Game 3 to Cleveland. James Harden answered the bell with nine fourth-quarter points as the Cavs got clutch baskets down the stretch to earn their first win of the series. Can Detroit close it out, or will Cleveland's experience flip this thing around? We break it all down. On the football side, UFL Week 8 is upon us, with the playoff picture getting clearer by the week. Coming out of Week 7, the St. Louis Battlehawks improved to 5-2 with a 31-20 win over Columbus, the Louisville Kings crushed the DC Defenders 30-13 to snap their five-game winning streak, the Birmingham Stallions survived the Dallas Renegades 21-17 in overtime, and the Orlando Storm earned their fifth straight victory. With three weeks left in the regular season, every game matters, and we've got the full breakdown. And finally, breaking NFL news. After nine seasons with the Cleveland Browns, tight end David Njoku is heading to Los Angeles, signing a one-year deal with the Chargers worth up to $8 million. Njoku joins a Chargers tight end room that already includes Oronde Gadsden and Charlie Kolar, giving Justin Herbert and offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel one of the most dangerous position groups in football heading into 2026. We give our full take on the fit and what it means for the Chargers' Super Bowl window. #NBAPlayoffs #NBA2026 #Timberwolves #Spurs #AnthonyEdwards #Wembanyama #OKCThunder #Lakers #Knicks #76ers #Pistons #Cavaliers #UFL #UFLWeek8 #DavidNjoku #Chargers #NFLNews #KornerBoothPodcast
On this May 12, 2026 episode of Little Column A, Little Column B, hosts Will Alimonos and Zach Bishop break down a packed week of NBA playoff drama, draft intrigue, trade speculation and the changing future of college sports media. The show opens with LeBron James and the Lakers after their playoff exit — debating whether this was LeBron's final game in Los Angeles, what Luka's future availability means for the franchise, and whether the Lakers should retool or fully reset. The hosts also react to Oklahoma City's dominant playoff run, the Jared McCain addition and the growing debate over who the Thunder's true cornerstone is between Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren and OKC's rising young core. Will and Zach dive into the controversial Spurs–Timberwolves series, including Victor Wembanyama's ejection, playoff officiating inconsistencies and how physicality changes in postseason basketball. They debate Minnesota's health concerns, De'Aaron Fox's late-game decisions and which team is better equipped to survive a long series. The conversation shifts to the Pistons–Cavs matchup, where Cleveland's huge third quarter swing, Donovan Mitchell's aggressiveness and James Harden's impact become central themes. The hosts discuss Detroit's turnovers, free-throw disparity and the strategic adjustments needed for both teams moving forward. Later, the episode turns toward the NBA Draft Lottery and top prospects including A.J., Darren Peterson and Cameron Boozer. Will and Zach examine team fits, organizational timelines and how stars like Trae Young, Anthony Davis and Tyrese Haliburton could impact draft decisions around the league. The combine, late risers and scouting movement are all part of the discussion. The episode wraps with a larger conversation about Duke's new Amazon streaming partnership, NIL's continued growth and what the fragmentation of sports media means for fans trying to follow college basketball, the WNBA and major sports moving forward. 9:00 HOUR: Reviewing Pistons-Cavs, Conflicting reports on the Lions' offseason free agency plans
The guys start the show off without Sedano (Mike Trudell is in for him), who got stuck in New York last night - this of course was after the hilarious horn fiasco that occurred during Friday's Pistons-Cavs game that he was covering for ESPN… Kap tells a story about how he once punched his steering wheel and had a horn fiasco of his own. The Lakers won two over the weekend against the Warriors and Kings, but Kap isn't over the 3-game losing streak because they should have won those games! Trudell brings his Ball-Knower knowledge to the show and gets into what the Lakers' best rotation is, and the expectations the team has for Deandre Ayton. Learn more about your ad choices. Sedano tells the story of what happened on Friday, when he was doing sidelines for ESPN's broadcast of the Pistons-Cavs game and their timeout horn wouldn't turn off - for nearly 20 minutes!!! Draymond Green went on a podcast rant defending Nico Harrison's reasons for trading Luka - he has an issue with what the media said then - and again now during a rough patch forLuka. ESPN LA Kings Insider Sam Betesh stops by for the latest on the Kings firing head coach Jim Hiller and what that means for the rest of the season. The Lindsey Segment! Producer Lindsey asks the guys about USC's Chad Baker-Mazara leaving the team mid-game - for good, and how is their relationship with their neighbors? Kap's Dealer's Choice presented by Sellers Advantage is about his Greece trip conundrum - what did he decide? Learn more about your ad choices.

Will the Thunder's heaps of assets and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander be enough to get them to move up?Chad and Tony also discuss what the Warriors may do with their two picks. Can they get Bradley Beal, Damian Lillard or Ben Simmons?
