Listeners of Riki Rachtman's Cathouse Hollywood Podcast that love the show mention:The Riki Rachtman's Cathouse Hollywood Podcast is a nostalgic trip back to the rock and roll scene of the 80s. As someone who was fortunate enough to be a part of that era, this podcast brings back all the memories and excitement of that time. The host, Riki Rachtman, does a fantastic job of bringing listeners behind the metal curtain with his great storytelling and captivating interviews with guests from that era.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the opportunity to hear about many of the iconic places referenced in songs, album liner notes, and interviews from that time. For someone like me who was not in LA or California, it was always intriguing to wonder what these places were like. The show sheds light on it all, providing a glimpse into a world I always wondered about.
Another great aspect is the guests that Riki brings onto the show. From rock legends to up-and-coming bands, each episode features interesting stories and insights from those who were part of the scene. It's fascinating to hear firsthand accounts and behind-the-scenes details about how some of these bands broke out during that time.
One potential downside of this podcast is that it may not appeal to those who are not fans or familiar with 80s rock music. The focus is heavily on that era and scene, so if you're not into it, you may not find as much enjoyment in this podcast.
In conclusion, The Riki Rachtman's Cathouse Hollywood Podcast is a must-listen for anyone who was a rocker back in the 80s or simply has an appreciation for that music era. It's an enjoyable trip down memory lane filled with great stories, guests, and hosted by none other than Riki Rachtman himself.
