He is a celebrated author, entrepreneur, leadership maven, and a founding Board Member of Burning Man Project. He's a serial contributor to the culture and the cause. In this episode, Chip and Stuart explore how to use the 10 Principles to make conversations interesting and how a description of Black Rock City always becomes a riddle. They resist the urge to quiz newbies on the 10 Principles, while they also say that Burners should not take themselves too seriously. They try on the notion that nothing matters and everything's humorous. They make sense of big ideas like collective effervescence, emotional equations, and the need for aesthetics and beauty. They talk about a deep diversity of ritual gatherings around the world, and the influence of the global community emanating from Regional Burns. They talk about all this and more, and somehow it all make sense. wikipedia.org/wiki/Chip_Conleychipconley.comwww.meawisdom.com LIVE.BURNINGMAN.ORG

Brian and Terry have been together for over 26 years. They officially married on their 9-year anniversary in Canada, before it was broadly legal in the US. They grew up in the same town in a suburb of Dayton, Ohio. They met at a data/technology company where they moved up in the ranks and spent most of their careers. Their shared retirement goal since almost the beginning of their relationship was to find and move to a place with sunny weather year-round and near the ocean. They never took Their eyes off of that goal. About 13 years ago they vacationed in Cabo and fell in love with the place. They have had two homes constructed there. In 2018 They moved to Cabo full-time, bringing their dogs and Terry's mom with them. Terry's mom had been living with them for many years. Part of the reason for relocating at that time was that her advanced age and mobility were becoming very limited. The longer they waited, the more complex the move and transition would be. Upon moving to Cabo, Terry retired and Brian transitioned into a consulting role in the data/technology industry where he is home based in Cabo.Title: Where Do Gays Retire Podcast - Cabo San Lucas, MexicoGuests: Terry Henning and Brian WorleyIntroduction:Welcome to Where Do Gays Retire, the podcast where we explore the best places for LGBTQ+ people to retire. What is your "sport"? I used to be into playing soccer, then I was into swimming and then eventually I landed on my "sport" of SCUBA DIVING! The first time I ever went scuba diving I was 11 in Cabo San Lucas Mexico in the resort pool. Since that first moment "on-air" I was totally in love! Scuba diving to me is the most exhilarating, eye-opening, and amazing experience I have ever enjoyed. I am able to integrate my love of the ocean, wildlife, travel, and photography all into one activity! Wine Highlight: 2018 Ménage à Trois Silk Ménage à Trois Silk Soft Red Blend is a blend of Pinot Noir with seamless cherry flavors, Malbec with velvety softness, and Petite Sirah with alluring depth. To further illuminate the wine’s unique texture and flavors, the blend was enhanced with a hint of sweet, spicy French and American oak. With its alluring fragrance of dried violets and berries, Silk beckons, promising an unforgettable experience. Succulent cherry and ripe raspberry flavors mingle with delicate hints of rose petals and toasty spice and glide gracefully across your palate like liquid silk. While Hollywood had it's 80's-90's Sleaze rock scene, the Bay area had their Thrash or as host Riki Rachtman used to call it Speed metal. Both rock and both labeled by some as heavy metal but both could not be more different. While Riki Rachtman was hosting Headbangers Ball he was in Cabo San Lucas Mexico and became good friends with the guys in the band Exodus. Somewhere in the story of there introduction involved a dead body. Riki brings you back to 1987 and the rapidly growing LA scene and he hangs out with Exodus vocalist Zetro and the two tell the tale of the night the two worlds collided on the Cathouse stage. What was No Wimp night?
