Scott Storch is a producer (of beats) who was a pretty big deal in the early to mid '00s. His biggest hit was Fat Joe's "Lean Back" in '06. Then he decided to work with Brooke Hogan and Paris Hilton and do all of the cocaine. Its hard to say whether these were directly connected, but we'll speculate wildly about it for a solid hour before we simply don't want to hear the same Korg Triton presets anymore. w/Rich, Eric and Deb
Rich went to another awful New Music Concert. This leads to a discussion of what "New Music" is and why when its bad when people refuse to admit it sounds bad. Why majoring in Music Theory is dumb. What Music Theory actually IS if you're not painfully familiar already. Rich and Matt discuss some of their more avant garde compositions from music school. Including "I Throw Rocks at You" and "You Win (Money)" PLUS: The SECRET TRICK to escaping a Nu Music Concert or Performance Art piece that you are not enjoying.
You read it correctly. At the risk of exposing more people to it than it deserves, we present: Tha Gatherin' - A Rap Group Exclusively based on Magic: The Gathering, the Collectible Card Game from the 90s, and unfortunately, today. We explore theories as to why King Diamond sold out 3 nights in NYC, one of which we will be "covering". Braindance is at Santos Party House, Saturday 11/21, and we will be there as well. Also Sebastian (lead singer of Braindance) accepts my friend request LIVE on the podcast! We explore (unpleasantly) the other projects from the producer of Tha Gatherin, Spruke. This results in another tangent about YouTubers and finally why the movie/show Catfish are so terrible. Whatever, its a podcast, we can talk about stuff. co-host Rich and Eric

We watched CNBC's "Pitbull: Fame and Fortune" and learned the Music Business is 90% Business, 10% Talent, and 30% Beverage ads. We actually gained a surprising amount of respect for Pitbull's business acumen, though not necessarily any for his music. We didn't lose any respect for his music, 'cause, well, we didn't have much to begin with. But when it comes to business! Can't Stop - Won't stop - Never will - ... Don't stop the party. Dale! DALE! co-host Rich
