Česká asociace discgolfu má velké plány, jak posunout svou turnajovou platformu – iDiscgolf. Nechala si vypracovat studii a chce si nechat vyvinout zbrusu nový web s cenovkou blížící se 2 milionům korun. Ale kde na to vezme finance? Na to jsme se ptali předsedy Výkonné rady Michaela Studničky. Nejen budoucnost iDiscgolfu je ale nejistá, i výstavní skříň českých soutěží – Czech Disc Golf Tour – v posledním roce nebyla tak úspěšná jako dříve. Steve Hudgeons is the Director of Investigations for International MUFON (Mutual UFO Network). Tonight, he shares the history of MUFON and what the organization does today with regards to investigating UFOs/UAPs and USOs. He spent four months in Europe each year and one month in the Cuba area each year for four and a half years. Steve was a Gunners' Mate E5 on a Destroyer named the USS NEW DD 818 stationed in Norfolk VA. After the Navy Steve began a long-time career in Commercial Construction, installing aluminum frames and glass in commercial buildings such as high rises as well as schools and small buildings. He later advanced to selling jobs and drawing blueprints, then became an OSHA safety officer. He retired at the age of 65. Steve served as the President of his neighborhood Advisory council and has been a Member of the Citizens on Patrol with the Fort Worth Police Department for 29 years. Steve has been a MUFON Member for 34 years. He is married to his wife Linda, and their 50th anniversary is next month. Steve has two children and five grandchildren. In Einstimmung darauf könnt man meinen, der Film Civil War von Alex Garland wäre eine gute Anlaufstelle. Peppi hat er allerdings sehr enttäuscht. Schlicht und einfach, weil es sich nicht mehr lohnt. Sie produzieren weiterhin für die Industrie und Großkunden – solange es wirtschaftlich sinnvoll ist. Wenn die Kunden also entscheiden, mehr digital zu kaufen, wird es eventuell irgendwann am Medium fehlen.

Many people who have more than a passing interest in the UFO subject might be aware that the scene in Steven Spielberg's 1977 movie, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, where several UFOs go speeding by the main character's stalled car, followed by police cars in hot pursuit, was based on a real case. This was the 1966 incident where police officers Dale Spaur and Wilbur “Barney” Neff reportedly chased a single UFO at high speed across the state of Ohio into Pennsylvania, with other officers joining them in the chase. However, another scene in the movie, where a house occupied by a mother and son is flooded with light from a UFO, was also inspired by a real case, but this one is not nearly so well known.The front-page headline of the November 1963 APRO Bulletin is “Family Beseiged [sic] by Discs.” According to the article, on October 21, 1963, at his ranch near Tranca, Argentina, Antonio de Moreno was woken up by a fifteen-year-old employee who told him there seemed to have been an accident at the railway tracks about a half mile away from the house, as, in the reporter's words, “there was a lot of light and people moving around at that location.” Read more →Thank you for Supporting Us! ~ Stay Connected!
