MAN UP! Nikita Koloff, Randy Shepherd, MJ & Al Wood #FinalFour
Born to tenant farmers in rural Dana, Indiana, Ernie Pyle looked for any way to get out of the Midwest farm country he feared he might toil away his life in. When World War II ended a month after he joined the naval reserve, he did the next best thing - enroll at Indiana University. While in school, he studied communications and journalism, and not only managed to travel to Kentucky and Michigan, but to Japan, China, and the Philippines, too. Shortly after leaving school, he was working for a daily tabloid in Washington, DC, but his wanderlust wouldn't let him stay in one place for long. This week we wrap up the discrition of the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at the Punchbowl crater in Oahu, Hawaii and then we will see just how closely Punchbowl and Arlington are related when in December 2023, a young sailor killed when the USS Oklahoma capsized during Pearl Harbor, and whose remains were just recently identified, was disinterred from Punchbowl and buried at Arlington.Today's Ghost of Arlington is Navy Seaman First Class James Richard Ward, Section 81 Grave 1560.The Ghosts of the Pacific Theme is Ukulele and Love Birds by emjaydabayou, with a few Waves of Hawaii added for ambiance. The Ghosts of the Pacific Transition music are some Uke Chords by turkitron.Ukulele Taps is by Al Wood.As always, a very special thanks to Mountain Up Cap Company for its continued help to spread the word about the podcast on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/MountainUpCapCompany Climb to Glory! For more information about the podcast visit: · The GoA website: https://www.ghostsofarlingtonpodcast.com · Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/ghostsofarlingtonpodcast· Twitter: https://twitter.com/ArlingtonGhosts· Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ghostsofarlington/

Bob and Dave are live in Peoria for Mariners Spring Training, they react to the news of Al Wood's getting cut by the Seahawks, they ask if the Hawks should avoid Jalen Carter in the draft, and they dive into the drama of the World Baseball Classic. With the release of Al Wood the Seahawks have now completely jettisoned their 2022 interior defensive line. Dre'Mont Jones and Jarran Reed have been added, but is there another move coming? What's the latest on Bobby Wagner? KJ Wright had some interesting thoughts on his radio show. How has the Seahawks offseason approach changed, and why? And now... how has it impacted their approach to this year's draft? Does the signing of Evan Brown set their sights on a certain small-collage stud Center prospect? And why does the re-signing of Drew Lock mean more than some people are giving it credit for? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seahawksforever-danviens/message

As we showed last time, Cannan and Cash's Marsha script wasn't produceable for many reasons. So Greenway handed off the project to Stanford Sherman, fresh off Hizzoner the Penguin, to salvage it, and he quickly realized he had no choice but to start from scratch. The result, of course, is the Marsha two-parter we all know (though perhaps not love). It comes as no surprise, though that some changes were made between the “final” script and what was shot. This time, we take a look at those differences. PLUS: Holy Deja Vu looks at James Millhollin, Adam and Burt make some jokes we've all heard a million times, Al Wood's ukulele version of the theme, and we read your response to episode 174 on women in season two!
