I talk about animation on YouTube because I think these animators are so talented and really raise the standard of the platform. So much work goes into it and there is such a payoff. SAD-ist and Alan Becker are super amazing end of story.
IRD was effectively the warehouse floor for all metal indies in the 1980's, and Roadrunner was no exception. Alan talks me through IRD's beginnings as an indie label distributor and all the way through the company's relationship with Roadrunner Records.
When you go to art school, they provide you with projects, assignments, deadlines, and a schedule. They provide you with structure. In this episode we talk about how to create structure for yourself when you’re learning from home. Marshall gives his perspective from being a classroom teacher and how it can be applied to online education, while Stan explains how you can’t rely on discipline when forming new habits. Based on psychology, there are more effective ways to form new habits as you’re trying to set up your own structure. Stan also shares how he created projects for himself that got him excited to learn the technical skills. Confira a entrevista épica!Senhoras e senhores, menininhos e meninotas...
Did you know more than 60% of Americans have less than $1,000 in savings, making it extremely difficult to recover from an emergency—whether it is a natural disaster or a broken water heater? When people hear about disaster preparedness, regardless of the hazard, we often do not focus much on the financial aspect and financial preparedness. Having a financial preparedness plan is an important part of your overall emergency plan. Being financially prepared can make a huge difference following disasters. On this episode, Alan Becker, the host of the radio program, Retire Right Radio joins the FEMA Podcast to discuss the importance of putting yourself in the best position to bounce back financially from a disaster.
Alan Becker is the CEO and Founder of Retirement Solutions Group, Inc., and founder of RSG Investments, Inc., a leader in the world of financial security for pre-retirees and retirees. What do you do in the first 60 minutes of your day? Alan begins his day by thinking in the shower, spending time with his family, and working on his physical and mental health -- make sure the beginning of the day prepares you for the day ahead . ONWARD! Favorite quote or lesson? If it's not good enough for family, it's not good enough for clients. How do you define success? Success is how you impact others people lives. What strategy do you use to combat fear? Alan believes that you have to invest in yourself -- and Alan tells the reasons why here. What makes as "A player" an "A player"? An "A player" has to go to work, put in the time, and be willing to do what others won't. Final Round – “Breaking Down the Recipe for Success” How can we become better mentors? Lead by example Be open to others opinions How can we build an audience? Figure out what your brand represents and always put that foot forward How can business owners reach that elusive next level?
