"I knew what I was talking about!"That's not really an excuse. Colloqu...well, here, read it from the Austin Peay University handbook excerpt: A colloquialism, sometimes referred to collectively as "colloquial language,” is a phrase that is common in everyday, unconstrained conversation, rather than in formal speech or academic writing. Dictionaries often display colloquial words and phrases with the abbreviation colloq. as an identifier. Some examples of informal colloquialisms can include words (such as “y'all” or “gonna” or “wanna”), phrases (such as “old as the hills” and “graveyard dead”), or sometimes even an entire aphorism (“There's more than one way to skin a cat” and “He needs to step up to the plate.”). You must write for clarity even while writing narrative essays so that all readers will know what you mean. BUBBLE GUM JOURNEY by Sonia Lipford This book was written for my grandson who passed away on October 11, 2016. I wrote this book to show how life is on the other side for children. So let's take a trip on the bubble gum journey with Darius. Sonia attended Austin Peay University on the base of Fort Campbell where she had study. However Sonia also attended Colorado Technical University where she received her Professional Certificate as a Correction Technician. Sonia is working very hard on studying Sociology and Criminal Justice so she can receive her Bachelor degree. Sonia worked at a couple daycares where she got some of her ideals for the children books she has written. Sonia favorite daycare is Heavenly Hands where Sonia had taught and helped the children write their name. Sonia has since become an employee at a local factory to help finance her books and where she have lots of friends that encourage her daily. https://www.amazon.com/Bubble-Gum-Journey-Sonia-Lipford/dp/1543459536/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&qid=1605782283&refinements=p_27%3ASonia+Lipford&s=books&sr=1-3&text=Sonia+Lipford http://www.bluefunkbroadcasting.com/root/twia/btsm1.mp3
