Much like the country, the Pirates now seem to be low on fuel with the injury to Colin Moran. Ironically we spoke last week how the depth is a real problem for this team and what the lineup would look like if someone like Moran were to get injured....and here we are.The latest to be added to the OF carousel is Troy Stokes Jr., and he has himself a game last night. Though it was exciting, is this latest player someone to get excited for? Tyler Anderson has been a very good free agent addition to this team and rotation, but for us there has been nobody more intriguing in this team than JT Brubaker and last night he once again proved why. Though we may have looked at him more of a fringe #5 starter or bullpen arm coming into the season we will tell you why that has changed. Lastly, it's our Down On The Farm roundup as we talk about the prospects who seem to be doing nothing but exciting fans over their performances.

Welcome back to Locked On Pirates. On today's episode, the Pittsburgh Pirates are once again above .500 after the first time since Opening Day after defeating the Kansas City Royals 2-1 on Tuesday and Ethan Smith recaps and previews tonight's matchup. Also, Josh Bell and the Nationals have struggled out of the gate, but Colin Moran has impresses at first base so far this season and it appears that GM Ben Cherington may have won that trade already after acquiring Eddy Yean and Wil Crowe. Finally, winning is never a bad thing. The Pirates are in a rebuild, but a strong April can do wonders for the Pittsburgh Pirates rebuild not only this season but the seasons to come in Pittsburgh. This week we're celebrating a fifth national title for hurdler Gerard O'Donnell while the Gaelic Football Senior and Intermediate Championships reach the final four stage after the weekend's action. We run through the results of the weekend in Gaelic Football (2:10) at Senior and Intermediate football across the county. Meanwhile in Dublin's Morton Stadium, Carrick on Shannon Athletic Club's Gerard O'Donnell (5:57) landed his fourth consecutive national 110m hurdles title and his fifth in total, with a commanding run leaving the rest of the field in his wake. He joins us to discuss the race, his season and what's next as the prospect of Olympic qualification looms large. At home at the quarter final stage (18:15) Mohill eased past Allen Gaels despite a spirited revival from the Drumshanbo side in the second half of their clash on Saturday. After the game we heard from Mohill's manager Liam Keenan (18:56), player Keith Keegan (21:07) and Allen Gael's Colin Moran (24:03). In the second game (26:14) Leitrim Gaels first championship at this level came to an end at the hands of a strong, fast Fenagh St. Caillins side who were slightly flattered by the final score of the game. We hear from Leitrim Gael's manager Mal Guckian (26:36) and goalkeeper Benny Flynn (29:19) while Riordan O'Rourke (32:35) and Joe Flynn (34:57) give us the reaction from within the Fenagh camp. In a carbon copy of the 2019 draw (37:39), Melvin Gaels faced up to St. Mary's , but the Kinlough side were unable to replicate their preformance from last year and saw their season ended by the Carrick side. We hear from Denis Connerton (37:59) and full back Conor Farrell (42:06) as well as Melvin Gaels brothers manager, James Phelan (46:06) and goalkeeper, Gareth Phelan (48:41). In arguably the most anticipated tie of the round (51:59) champions Glencar/Manor had the obstacle of last year's beaten finalists Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins to navigate to progress and three early points from Ballinamore suggested they might gain revenge for their final defeat last year. A solid defensive display from the northerners meant a very late goal for Ballinamore couldn't change the outcome. We spoke to Glencar/Manor Sean Boylan (52:37) and Evan Sweeney (54:46) as well as Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins chairman Michael Quinn (57:19) In the Intermediate grade there were victories for Annaduff, Gortletteragh, Dromahair and Carrigallen. We spoke to Gortletteragh manager Paul McGuire (60:07), player Jack Heslin (61:57) and Martin McHugh (63:23) of Aughnasheelin after their defeat to Gortletteragh. After a titanic local battle between Bornacoola and Annaduff we spoke to Bor's boss Seamus Mallon (69:30) as well as Annaduff's captain Alan Glancy (72:03) and manager Karl Foley (74:15) who was relieved after the final whistle.

Locked On Twins - Daily Podcast On The Minnesota Twins

The Twins suffered a heartbreaking walk-off loss Thursday in Pittsburgh. The Twins held a 5-3 lead in the 8th after homers from Miguel Sanó, Eddie Rosario and Byron Buxton. Sergio Romo walked Jarrod Dyson in the 8th, who then stole both second and third base. He scored on a groundout to make it 5-4. Taylor Rogers came in to close the door in the 9th and couldn't do it. Colin Moran stuck his bat out and singled to left before Bryan Reynolds doubled down the left field line. With no outs and two on, Rogers simply couldn't recover. Kevin Newman pinch hit for JT Riddle and singled in two runs to walk off Minnesota after Gregory Polanco struck out. Polanco also hit a three-run homer off Kenta Maeda in the second inning. Maeda pitched 6 innings and allowed only those three runs. Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!  Rock Auto Amazing selection. Reliably low prices. All the parts your car will ever need. It's part 2 of breaking down each of the 6 divisions. Andrew and Justin are back to discuss the NL Central, which is where both of their favorite teams reside. They discussed the MLB standings at recording time and where they saw them being at the end of the season. They then discussed the great season Yelich is having, what they'd do with Hiura if they were the Brewers, Brandon Woodruff's dynasty value, and spent a minute on some Brewers prospects. Then they talked about Javy Baez' redraft league value, they played a him or him game with Bryant against other third basemen in dynasty. They ranked the 5 starters rest of season and discussed Alzolay possibly getting a shot soon. On to the Cardinals, where Jack Flaherty's end of season ERA was guessed, they were asked if Jordan Hicks is a top 5 closer in the next 5 years, Paul Dejong's improvements with plate discipline, over under on Goldschmidt, and they talked Nolan Gorman and Dylan Carlson. Next was the Pirates, where after ridiculing the Meadows/Glasnow/Archer trade once again, they talked about Josh Bell, whether Colin Moran is breaking out or on a hot streak, and why Bryan Reynolds may be a sell high right now. Then they gave the top 3 Pirates prospects right now. Finally, the Reds. Nick Senzel's dynasty value was discussed in a him or him game. Luis Castillo's breakout was next, and finally they discussed India versus Trammell.
