While both hosts appreciate Stearns' conviction, the conversation turns fiery over Stearns' statement about using young internal options like Carson Benge and Jett Williams, along with Jeff McNeil, to fill the vacated outfield spots. Sal argues that given the Mets are trying to win now, they "can't take a chance in center field" with unproven prospects, citing the Yankees' struggles with Volpe as a cautionary tale.
