Segunda sesión de música continua con la que despedimos el 2020 para todos los que no sois mecenas del programa. La semana que viene habrá dos especiales para fans y después haremos un descanso durante las fiestas navideñas. Así que nos despedimos con este formato que hacía tiempo que no usábamos y que nos gusta mucho. La sesión de hoy será un poco más variada que la del martes, y tendremos dubstep, hip-hop, funky, soul, indie, trap, bossanova y reggaeton. No te lo pierdas, ha quedado guapísimo.

Celebramos el puente de diciembre con un par de sesiones de DJ que servirán para despedir el año para quienes no sois mecenas del programa. En la sesión de hoy nos centramos en el rock e invitamos a la fiesta a gente como Isobel Campbell, Pottery, Hanni El Khatib, Delgres, The Plumedores y The Racounters. La segunda parte empieza con Pearl Jam, Daughters y va sonando más electrónica con gente como El Columpio Asesino, Mark Lanegan y el final apoteósico con Perfume Genius.

Segunda sesión de música continua de la semana. Después de la descarga metalera del martes, hoy cambiamos de estilos. En la primera parte nos centramos en sonidos urbanos; trap, hip-hop y alguna derivación que otra que nos ha parecido que podía encajar perfectamente. De Metro Boomin a Michael Jackson pasando por Frank T o Mucho. Y para la segunda parte, y para cerrar la temporada en Si la música hablase, una sesión de ska que empezamos en Barcelona con Dr. Calypso, que continuamos en Jamaica con algunos gurús del género, para terminar en Estados Unidos con unas cuantas bandas punteras de la escena. Volveremos en septiembre con novedades y más contenidos especiales, ya estamos trabajando en ello. Buen verano y buenas vacaciones!

Despedimos la temporada 19-20 con un par de sesiones de música continua con la intención de dejaros buena música y buen material para que la música os acompañe durante las vacaciones. En la sesión de hoy le metemos caña y nos centramos en el rock y metal. Escucharemos a gente como Jesse Dayton, Pearl Jam, Tool, Foo Fighters y Foals, entre otros. Rock & Summer!

Dj Session

Una semana más nos encontramos con algún día festivo. En este caso celebramos San Isidro, las fiestas de la Villa de Madrid. Y os ofrecemos una sesión de música continua para que no olvidéis que, algún día, volverán los conciertos y los eventos para grandes públicos. Hemos sacado los platos y en la primera parte de la sesión nos hemos dedicado por el rock bastardo; desde el jazz-dub de los Clash hasta el post-rock de Godspeed You! Black Emperor, pasando por Fugazi, entre otros. En la segunda parte de la sesión nos ponemos más salseros y le damos al soul, funk y dance. Lee Dorsey, Tropical Fuck Storm y un final sorprendente a cargo de Miley Cyrus. Además de algún otro invitado. Dale al play y gózatela.

Seguimos con más música continua para amenizaros el puente de mayo aunque estemos confinados. Si muchas veces os pedimos que os relajéis y prestéis toda vuestra atención a la música que os proponemos, en los casos de las sesiones de DJ, todo lo contrario. Podéis hacerlo si queréis, pero podéis limpiar la casa, poner lavadoras, bailar, leer, cocinar o cualquier otra tarea o entretenimiento doméstico que se os ocurra. En la sesión de hoy hacemos gala de esas mezclas locas y bizarras que proponemos en Si la música hablase de vez en cuando. Pasaremos del rock stoner de los Queens of the Stone Age al dubstep de Burial en la primera parte de la sesión. Recogeremos el testigo de la electrónica para una segunda parte con tan solo tres temas, pero dos de ellos de larga duración; de Fat Freddy's Drop a FUSE con Daft Punk entre medias.

Volvemos de nuevo a las sesiones de música continua. No queremos olvidar los festivos aunque sigamos confinados por el coronavirus. Así que traemos un par de DJ sessions para esta semana que seguro te entretendrán un rato y de las que sacarás algún grupo que no conocías o tenías olvidado. En la de hoy nos centramos en el rock en varias de sus formas y sonará gente como Peace, Warmduscher, Dry Cleaning, The SLP o Fat White Family en una primera parte británica. Para la segunda parte de la sesión, un poco más variada, meteremos a gente como Death in Vegas, A Perfect Circle, Fever 333 o los grandísimos Faith No More para terminar. It is the real thing.

Segunda sesión de música continua de la semana. Nuestro pequeño aporte a todos los que estáis encerrados por la crisis del coronavirus. No teníamos planificado ningún episodio para esta semana al ser festiva, pero os traemos unas sesiones estilo DJ, que de vez en cuando nos gusta sentirnos como si fuéramos los 2 Many DJ's. La primera parte de hoy es bastante electrónica con gente que trabaja el downtempo como Four Tet o Boards of Canada, aunque le iremos metiendo intensidad hasta culminar con los Editors y The Rapture. Para la segunda parte misma progresión pero con bajada gradual; de Sigur Ros a Hans Zimmer pasando por el techno de Pional y Jeff Mills. Esperamos que te guste!

En realidad esta semana se suponía que no había programas debido a que es festivo. Pero como estamos encerrados con motivo de la crisis del COVID-19, nos hemos animado a hacer unas sesiones de música continua para amenizaros, en la medida de lo posible, el tiempo en casa. En la primera parte empezaremos con un poco de indie, blues y folk a cargo de gente como Elliott Smith o Eels. Nos pondremos un poco más duros con Brant Bjork o Blood Red Shoes y terminaremos con un clásico. En la segunda parte empezaremos con Florence + The Machine para luego hacer una oda al noise y al indie con Sonic Youth, Yo la Tengo, Pixies y Dinosaur Jr. Casi nada. Dale al play y gózatela.
