Some Bonus Intervention Content for my amazing listeners!!!! Trigger warning for alcohol abuse, sexual assault, and suicide. Please join Sarah in discussing this very uniquely heartbreaking and openly raw episode of Intervention; Instead of the anger and aggression we often view on the show, Elann portrays a great amount of hopelessness and despair. This one is not graphic at all, it is simply emotionally triggering and sad, but it is a story that is worth being told, and this episode is dedicated to Elann, may she rest in peace.

It was meant to end this way. Elann takes a recorder with him on the go, firstly to get his second COVID vaccination shot, and on the way there he encounters some rather unsavory characters. Later, he pays a visit to Ryan Reich, gives Brooks Rocco a call, and then makes a deliberate visit to Manhattan for his first time since lockdown to meet up with former L&R producer Doug Johnson. Murder and Mystery in the Last Frontier

We’ve all seen the horror movie where a stranger towers over his unsuspecting victim while she sleeps, and she awakes just in time to see him swing the machete toward her head. Imagine if this is no horror movie but a terrible, true event, happening as you struggle to clear your mind from sleep and attempt to focus on your survival instincts. Now, what if you know the maniac wielding the machete, and he is someone close to you? Can you fathom anything so horrible? Elann Moren had no choice; she had to grapple with the situation and spring into action. In one moment, her beautiful, new life turned into a horrible nightmare. Elann awoke in the middle of the night to see a shadowy figure walk into her bedroom. It was too dark to make out the individual’s features, but she could see the person holding something long and slender in his hand. She thought the object was a stick, and when the shadow began hitting her sleeping boyfriend with the stick, she reached over to grab the offending object and stop the beating. After two of her fingertips fell from her hand, she realized the attacker gripped a machete, not a stick.     Erin Rogers       Erin Rogers       Bear               Sources Another 189 years for Alaska machete murderer. There are plenty of stammers and awkward transitions. There are even stories of milestones provided by past guests. Will calls in with the plague! And we reveal one of the greatest mysteries that coud have been easily uncovered years ago if only Elann had paid enough attention.

A born and bred New Yorker, Olivia Whelan speaks to us this week about when to say yes (embracing her newfound spirituality) and when to say no (filming a porno). Rachel and Elann are later provided with a bedtime story in the form of a Thai food menu, and financial advice from Suze Orman (as played by Olivia).

Funny friends Molly Densmore and Tim Dowd (both repping Plan Z Productions) met each other in an epically problematic acting class. Elann had the chance to know both of them before this class, when Molly was performing in Woodstock Youth Theater shows, and when Tim was rocking red sweatpants in middle school. On this episode, the gang is treated to outtakes of more recent nature from Tim's online webseries, and some very adorable clips from Molly, including an excerpt from the lone WYT film project, "They Shoot Hoops, Don't They?"

Returning guest Marcus Jade brings along his pal Eli and a guitar in hand, as Will and Elann are once again graced with the live acoustic sounds of one of the hardest working DIY musicians in Bushwick! Other topics brought up - going on tour, releasing an album of poetry, and "tiering" family members.
