The Atlanta Falcons potentially have another top-notch wideout in second-year receiver Drake London. Host Aaron Freeman explores what makes London so effective and why he can blossom this season as the main target for quarterback Desmond Ridder. He breaks down how London compares with past Falcons greats in Julio Jones and Roddy White, and why London's size, route-running, and potential to be a mismatch in the slot will serve him moving forward.Later, he discusses what exactly Mack Hollins and Scotty Miller are bringing to the table as the team's other main wide receivers. He compares their games to that of Mohamed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel. Finally, he discusses the rest of the Falcons wide receiver group and how special teams is going to matter when it comes to decide those last few spots on the roster. KhaDarel Hodge's coverage ability gives him an edge, but Penny Hart and/or Josh Ali's potential to stick as the punt returner should help their chances at sticking. And which young receiver will emerge as a fan favorite to fill the void left by the retirement of Jared Bernhardt?Part of the @LockedOnATLFollow & Subscribe on all Podcast platforms…

The Atlanta Falcons have another hole to fill at punt returner thanks to the season-ending ACL injury of Avery Williams. Host Aaron Freeman breaks down the value Williams brought on both offense and special teams, and how his absence will open up opportunities for other running backs, wide receivers, and cornerbacks to carve out new roles on special teams this summer. He breaks down whether players like Mike Hughes, Dee Alford, Penny Hart, or Josh Ali are expected to fill Williams' shoes as a punt returner. Later, he also discusses Jalen Mayfield's potential move back to right tackle and whether that helps or hurts his chances at sticking on the roster this year. And he also breaks down the addition of defensive tackle Carlos Davis and how he gives the team some needed insurance behind nose tackle Eddie Goldman. Despite the injury to Russell Wilson, the Seahawks were still in position to win a game against the NFC West rival Los Angeles Rams. As much heat as the defense has been taking, they did enough at the beginning of the game and enough at the end to help deliver a win. So who is to blame? According to Clinton in this episode, Russell Wilson ends up directly or indirectly taking some of the blame. We also talk about how Penny Hart showed enough on a couple touches to show that he needs the ball more. But after watching Ryan Neal get the ball less after a solid week against the 49ers, we saw no corresponding increase to playing time. Paul is joined by Sigmund Bloom (@SigmundBloom) of Football Guys to discuss the 2019 NFL Draft. The discussion starts the quarterback position and what makes Kyler Murray such a unique prospect, how his game translates, the variety in which he can solve problems and why he most likely will be the first pick in the NFL Draft to the Arizona Cardinals. Following the discussion on Murray, they discuss Dwayne Haskins, Drew Lock, Daniel Jones and Will Grier. Next the focus is shifted to the running backs. The two of them discuss that why the position in someways is devalued in the NFL, it has not been devalued in terms of draft capital for the running backs that are offensive weapons and can impact the game in a variety of ways. They discuss Josh Jacobs in terms of whether he can be that difference maker. After the discussion on Jacobs, they talk about Darrell Henderson, Miles Sanders, Damien Harris and David Montgomery as the next tier. They close out the running back discussion with some under the radar names including a discussion on Rodney Anderson and where he would fit if he did not have any injury issues and was being evaluated strictly on his film. Next, the discussion turns to the Tight Ends and why this class rivals the 2017 draft in terms of being one of the best tight end classes ever. They discuss TJ Hockenson, Irv Smith Jr., Noah Fant, and many of the tight ends from the next tiers of prospects. To close out the episode, the two discuss the Wide Receiver position. The discussion starts with a breaking down of DK Metcalf and his teammate AJ Brown and what they offer in terms of their skill set at the next level. Next, the discussion focuses on Hakeem Butler and why he is one of the most polarizing draft prospects ever. To close out the show, they discuss why Deebo Samuels is one of the most versatile and best problem solvers from the wide receiver group, Kelvin Harmon and some day three sleeper wide receivers such as Penny Hart, Antoine Wesley and others.
