In this exclusive One-on-One interview with second-year Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Andrei Iosivas, Dave Lapham checks in with one of the top Bengals training camp performers. Coming off a rookie season that saw Iosivas play in 16 games with one start while catching 15 passes, including four for touchdowns, the 6-foot3, 205-pound receiver was realistic about his future as a football player until he saw a growth spurt, going from 130-pounds before dedicating himself to hit the weight room. Having earned All-Ivy League honors in football and All-American honors in track and field, Iosivas worked his way up to become a sixth-round draft pick by the Bengals in 2023 and now looks like a player who could have a breakout year two as a new primary target of Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. One of the biggest NFL off-season storylines is the contract negotiations coming from the reigning NFC Champions in San Francisco and if their star WR Brandon Aiyuk, former first round pick, will still be a 49er heading into 2024 season. Since the week after the Super Bowl, his contract has been a hot topic with constant media coverage, rumors, and social media buzz. Adding fuel to the fire, there are speculations that Aiyuk might reunite with his former ASU teammate and close friend Quarterback Jayden Daniels at the Washington Commanders… And the Pivot in partnership with Fanatics uncovers the truth and cuts through the noise. In today's episode, sitting with the source himself, Ryan, Channing and Fred have a conversation with Brandon Aiyuk around what's true, what's not and ask the looming question- will a new deal be done before training camp ? Or does Aiyuk have his sights set on a short list of NFL teams he feels he can be the X factor on. Brandon explains the why behind the viral face time post of him and his long-time friend Jayden Daniels and why he's taking these contract negotiations personal while sharing his true priorities and mindset as he discusses what he believes he's worth, the significance of the big dollar-signs and how he handles the pressures of these high-stakes discussions under the public eye. With an unsettling sentiment and signs of discourse between the San Francisco organization and Aiyuk since the Super Bowl loss in Feb, Brandon is setting the record straight about his emotions around the loss against the Chiefs and sharing his true thoughts in his voice without any misconstrues. Aiyuk gives us his perspective on the state of the league, being the next domino to fall in the contract pool of wide receivers and sharing insights on quarterback Brock Purdy, his teammates and how much talent is on this 49er roster, full understanding the grass may not be greener elsewhere but he's not closing the door on reuniting with his friend and former teammate Daniels in Washington or dabbling with other teams, ofcourse with the Steelers being one Ryan hopes is on the list. Growing up in a 49ers fan home, Aiyuk has deep love for the team but also has openness to new opportunities. Tune in for an unfiltered conversation that delves into the heart of Brandon Aiyuk's current journey, his aspirations, and the roller coaster side of professional football negotiations. If you were to draft all the NFL wide receivers based on whom you'd build a team with for the 2024 season alone, where would the Philadelphia Eagles duo of AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith be taken? Would AJ Brown be top 5? Would DeVonta Smith be top 10? We'll put this debate to the test as we draft the top wide receivers in the league. Will this be DeVonta Smith's best year under new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore? We'll also dive into the Eagles' wide receiver room as it stands currently. Zay and Channing share a special history as Channing was one of his high school coaches and was able to see his talent at an early age as well as play a strong role in keeping him out of trouble. Channing coached Zay at a private high school, and despite the adversity Flowers had faced, he kept a smile on his face at all times. Chan and Zay reminisce about some of their stories together as Chan shows his pride for the future star. One of 14 children, Zay lost his mother at 5 years old and also lost his brother when he was in high school, which he never let that escape him and always used it as motivation to represent his 8 brothers and 4 sisters in all he did and show the utmost respect towards his father for all he instilled in him growing up. Last April, when Zay walked across the NFL Draft stage, he made a tribute to his entire family and how each of them played a role in his opportunities. Learning commitment and sacrifice from his father, working hard and being grateful for each day is the biggest thing he takes from his childhood and can't put into words his appreciation for his father holding it all together. Now, Zay has found a second family with this Ravens squad, and their Super Bowl aspirations are alive and well heading into the playoffs. Zay details what it's been like learning from OBJ, Coach Harbaugh's leadership and being grateful that Lamar is the one drawing up their plays and executing his offense's success. He shares with Chan, Fred and Ryan a glimpse of some of what it's like to be in that building and what it's like inside the huddle on game days, opens up on what the next few weeks will be like and why he is so confident this Ravens team is the one! Zay's dad's 4 a.m. wake-ups and years providing for 14 children is undoubtedly paying off, and Zay is on a mission to keep proving his haters wrong and making his family as close as ever. The Ravens are off this wild card weekend and await hosting the divisional round next weekend.
