Both USA women's and men's hockey beat the Canadians to win Olympic gold. For the men, it was the first time since 1980 (Miracle on Ice).  We hear from Jack Hughs of team USA. People are pissed at Kash Patel - Director of the FBI for celebrating with team USA men's… and chugging a beer. But, who wouldn't do that?!!?!??! Floyd Mayweather (48) ends retirement again to return to professional boxing. Patriots gave Mack Hollins a $400K bonus despite finishing 4 catches short of his incentive. And that could destroy the team from within. The NFL combine starts this week, and we sent Mamma DeHuff to cover it. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Super Bowl 60 Review Game Review - Seahawks won their second SB in franchise history beating the Patriots 29-13- Pats punted on their first 6 drives of the game - Jason Myers kicked 3 FG in the first half to give the Seahawks a 9-0 lead - Kenneth Walker had a 30 and 29 yard run on one of the drives that were huge plays for the Seahawks - After another Pats punt in the 3rd, Seahawks take get another FG to go up 12-0 - At this point in the game I was thinking would there be any TDs in the game - Both defense were playing with their hair on fire - Drake Maye was under siege the entire game, didn't play well - Darnold didn't play that good either, but he did great job managing the game - At the end of the 3rd quarter Maye is sacked by Derick Hall and DT Byron Murphy recovers the fumble - Getting the ball at NE 37, the Seahawks finally put together a drive and score a TD 16 yard AJ Barner TD - At this point I knew the game was over- However, on the next drive, Maye hits Mack Hollins on two 30 yard bombs to cut the deficit to 19-7- Seahawks punt on their next drive - Pats after the punt, gets the ball back, and Maye throws a terrible pick to Julian Love - Seahawks get another FG to go up 22-7 - Next Pat drive, Maye throws the kiss of death pick 6 to Uchenna Nwosu to seal the game Biggest Takeways From the Game - Seahawks winning this proved you don't need a young genius offense coach to win a SB - Seahawks defense really were the MVPs of the game, Pats really sustain any drives all night - Drake Maye put up one of the worse playoffs runs for at least 3 games in a postseason since 2000 - With hindsight, you would think a defense of coach is going to make a young QB feel uncomfortable and that is what happened Winners and Losers

In this episode of Skin in the Game, Saxon Baum sits down with Brian Hollins, co-founder of Collide Capital, for a wide ranging conversation on venture capital, institutional fundraising, and the mindset required to build a differentiated early-stage firm.Brian's story begins just outside Washington, D.C., where he grew up as the oldest of three brothers in a disciplined and competitive household. His middle brother, Mack Hollins, famously received no college football offers, walked on at UNC, and went on to build a nine-year NFL career that includes a Super Bowl championship. His youngest brother served in the Marines. That foundation of resilience, accountability, and high standards continues to shape Brian's approach to leadership and investing. The conversation traces his path from Stanford, where a culture of ambition and innovation pushes students to think boldly, to Goldman Sachs, where he helped build the Emerging Entrepreneurs Coverage Group. During that time, he learned how to create real value for founders before ever writing a check, including early work supporting companies like Plaid. Those experiences laid the groundwork for how he thinks about venture capital today.Brian also explains why he approached business school intentionally, using it as a strategic platform to build relationships and lay the foundation for launching Collide Capital. The discussion highlights the difference between raising a fund and building a firm, and what it takes to earn long-term institutional LP support. The episode concludes with a look at Collide Capital's investment focus on fintech infrastructure, supply chain and logistics, and the future of Gen Z in the workforce and why the best founders are relentlessly focused on solving one core problem.A thoughtful and candid discussion on building with intention and playing the long game. A little bit of everything after Super Bowl 60. The crew dives into why policing fandom is ridiculous, how Mike Tirico managed to misread allegiances and irritate half the audience, and the moment the game turned after a shirtless fan sprinted onto the field. Then it gets tactical as Mike Vrabel's late-game decision making comes under the microscope, especially the two-point math that made no sense. Add in a Mack Hollins appreciation segment, gambling talk without the gambling, Drake Maye seeing ghosts, and a larger debate about whether quarterbacks actually decided this Super Bowl at all. A packed segment mixing sports logic, fan culture, and classic Monday morning frustration.

Garth Heckman The David Alliance TDAgiantSlayer@Gmail.com    Superbowl… t's actually been fascinating. Mike Macdonald is doing stuff he hasn't done all season long to just completely confuse Drake Maye and the Patriots. He rarely blitzes, and he is blitzing the CRAP out of Drake Maye tonight. Seattle's scoring: All points initially came from kicker Jason Myers, who hit four field goals (tying a Super Bowl record for most in a game, all from shorter distances like 39-41 yards). This gave Seattle a 12-0 lead by the end of the third quarter. First touchdown: Late in the game (early Q4), Seahawks QB Sam Darnold connected with tight end AJ Barner for a 16-yard TD pass, making it 19-0 (with the extra point). This came right after a key forced fumble by the Seattle defense on Patriots QB Drake Maye. Patriots' response: New England finally got on the board with a touchdown pass from Drake Maye (to Mack Hollins in some reports), cutting it to 19-7. Their offense has struggled significantly, with very few first downs and low yardage (e.g., around 58 total yards at one point in the third). Defense dominates: Seattle's defense has overwhelmed the Patriots, holding them scoreless through three quarters—the second Super Bowl ever with no TDs through three quarters. Kenneth Walker III and the Seahawks' run game have been effective, while New England's offense has been stifled. YOu might miss this: Yardage disparity: Seattle has racked up far more yards (e.g., 252+ at points) compared to New England's anemic output, highlighting how one-sided the trenches and play-calling have been.   Turning point Halftime show… cool, but needed more life on the stage like dancers etc… But the kid rock / Joe Rogan montage was absolutely fantastic… loved it.    When love becomes selective, it stops looking like God's Love.    The Pattern**   Every wrong love in Scripture has one thing in common:  It centers on self instead of surrender.   Our biggest failure in love is we always first see how it should be applied to us and very rarely to other others.    Jesus said “love your neighbor as yourself”.  We apply that is positive situations… but what about negative, problematic, painful situations. Where the other person may not exactly deserve love according to how they are treating us… AGAIN - love your neighbor as yourself.  When you are like that - and yes you, me all of us are like that - how do you want to be loved? Remember Every wrong love in Scripture has one thing in common:  It centers on self instead of surrender. Now here is the kicker… every wrong love in our lives has one thing in common - it centers of self instead of surrender.    When I want to be loved the way I want to be loved - when I am at my worst - but I don't want to love others in the same situation and in the same way - I am the ultimate hypocrite. **lets practice self love on others… make sense? I hope so. Now go do it!

The two also dive into the quarterback matchup between Darnold and Drake Maye, the contrasting offensive lines, and why trench play on both sides will be pivotal. The episode wraps with final predictions, coaching philosophy, and a reflection on Sam Darnold's remarkable journey — becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to lead two different teams to the No. 1 seed in back-to-back seasons.Follow Us On Socials:IG & TikTok — @theflame_esHost: Rob CaoGuest: Jerry Colon

In the summer, the boys went to New England for a Patriots training camp tour, and now, just months later, the Pats are in the Super Bowl. The guys sat down for a must-hear interview with Mike Vrabel, who had just taken over as the Patriots’ head coach. Vrabel opened up about his departure from the Titans, his brief stop in Cleveland, and what it was like stepping into the challenge of rebuilding New England’s culture. He also shared stories about Jameis Winston’s locker room energy and discussed his vision for the Patriots moving forward. Next, the guys caught up with quarterback Drake Maye, who was entering his second year in the league, as he reflected on his rookie season, his NFL Draft experience, and what it was like becoming the starter midway through the year. Drake also talked about how Coach Vrabel kept him on his toes and helped him grow as a young quarterback. Linebacker Robert Spillane joined the show to share his incredible journey from an NFL open tryout to earning a $33 million contract. Spillane reflected on his grind, his early years with the Titans, and the passion that kept him chasing his NFL dream. To wrap up the Patriots stop, Mack Hollins joined the boys to explain why he never wears shoes, how a random meeting with Australians shifted his mindset, and how close he came to walking away from the game. If you missed this one over the summer, it’s a must-listen. And if you already heard it, it’s definitely worth running back again. Enjoy, boys.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

On Sunday, we saw some offensive changes in the wake of injuries to Campbell and Wilson. What's that conversations like on the sideline? 8:25: if they go 4-1 down the stretch, that should be enough to secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC. That bye will allow them to get even healthier because they'll be home. “You're making me uncomfortable talking about this stuff.” 10:00: On the goal-line/red-zone offensive struggles against the Bengals. 12:40: On the red-zone guy in New England. It's Mack Hollins. “I don't think anyone saw him being this successful.” 19:18: Hunter Henry deserves some kudos as well. “He goes underappreciated.” 25:00: Diggs talked this week about how a pass from Drake Maye broke a finger. We break down every position with urgency and precision, highlighting the names that can save your season. At running back, the guys spotlight Emanuel Wilson, Sean Tucker, Bam Knight, and Chris Rodriguez as priority adds — all with paths to real late-season volume. Devin Singletary's usage remains steady, while Kenneth Gainwell and Jaleel McLaughlin headline the “next man up” tier. For deeper leagues, Ollie Gordon and Bhayshul Tuten could emerge fast — especially if LeQuint Allen's injury lingers. At wide receiver, it's time to act before everyone else: Michael Wilson, Pat Bryant, and Jayden Higgins are flashing real chemistry with their quarterbacks, Xavier Legette is heating up, and Mack Hollins plus Darnell Mooney offer usable depth in Week 12's heavy bye week. Andrei Iosivas gets a potential bump with Ja'Marr Chase's looming suspension, while whispers of Tyrell Shavers make for a deep dynasty dart. Tight-end streamers AJ Barner and Brenton Strange round out the adds, and if you're in a QB pinch, Kirk Cousins and Tyler Shough headline the streamer list with Bryce Young and Jacoby Brissett off the board.
