The Mariners have still made #NoMoves - but if they land Roki Sasaki, and that's what they were holding out for, Ian says this would be a good offseason. If college athletes become salaried and don't have to attend school - what's next?  Stewart Mandell, The Athletic gives his thoughts and insight on whether we'll see true salaried, non-scholarship players in college athletics. While people might think there are too many bowl games, the ratings reflect that we might need more! There is still quite an appetite for college football outside the top ranked teams in the country. She's looking ahead and understands that these things happen in CFB but admits the players likely didn't expect their coach to leave prior to the bowl game with how close we are to it. Why was Pete Kaligis the right person to take over as interim? Timing-wise, she doesn't want to rush this process and a lot of candidates are still coaching. She feels it should happen soon, but won't sacrifice a good candidate to save a few days. Opposing fans coming into Lumen Field and taking over is new to this fanbase - but the Seahawks need to control what they can, which is winning. That would help when it comes to fans.
