Pastor Gerrit teaches through Luke 8:22–39, following Jesus from the storm on the Sea of Galilee to the encounter with the demon-possessed man in the region of the Gadarenes. This Bible teaching highlights Jesus' authority over creation as He calms the wind and waves, and His authority over the spiritual realm as demons recognize Him and submit to His command. The passage also reveals His power to transform a life, as the man who was once tormented is restored and sent out to share what God has done for him. Pastor Gerrit connects these moments to the call to follow Jesus in faith, even when it leads into discomfort, trusting His power and care in every circumstance. Through Luke 8, the teaching points to the peace, deliverance, and purpose found in Christ for those who walk with Him.

The record is steeped in nostalgia, with much of it written in his childhood home of Walsall, in the West Midlands.

This week's time killer is the second of three Love Boat episodes we'll be doing as we wait for Wonder Man. This time we are jumping to season five, episode fifteen or ten, depending on who you're asking, but PlutoTV has it as ten. In this one Doc gives a pianist drugs, there is a frank examination of mental health and we get a storyline about the trans experience that would kill a Republican at thirty paces. It's 1982 and the story feels so much more progressive than almost anything we get today. Did society start to crumble when we stopped doing Very Special Episodes? Is The Love Boat a step down after making your debut as a lead in Saturday Night Fever? And what horrible, upsetting and depressing true life facts connected to this week's co-stars will we discuss? Before that, a little bit of news and some questions get answered. Why is The Question objectivist? Do we miss anything about New York City? Are there LEGO conspiracies? Don't care about any of this? Skip to 41:38.Want your questions answered on the show? My guest this week is Dave Chauhan, author, speaker and former corporate leader who walked away from his established career to pursue a deeper connection with purpose. Dave shares his personal journey of reflection, the signals that told him it was time to make a change and the painful yet transformative process of rediscovering his values. We explore how purpose often reveals itself in times of discomfort, why courage matters more than certainty and how growth comes not from avoiding pain but from working through it.
