Family Matters with Jim Minnery - The Faith & Politics Show !
If you know Kelly Tshibaka, you know it wasn't going to take long for her to rebound from her loss to Lisa Murkowski and get back in the fight. For liberty-minded, small government conservatives in the Great Land, that is a positive. In addition to raising her family, she is advancing a movement across the country to stop the cancer of ranked choice voting from metastasizing into other states. As dark, big money once again leads the charge to convince Americans that Alaskans couldn't be happier about the "rank" new election process, something even liberal pollster Ivan Moore has shown is not the case, Kelly is engaging with a group called Preserve Democracy to expose RCV as "a political weapon and emerging threat to our democracy. It is a complex, multi-step process that confuses voters, escalates negativity, increases costs, and results in voter suppression."Please join me today on "I'm Glad You Said That" and learn how and why Alaska does indeed need to lead on this issue - by sending it to the graveyard of bad ideas.Support the show

On Monday's Mark Levin Show, reporting shows that the wife of the newly appointed Special Prosecutor in the DOJ's case against Donald Trump has been a frequent donor to the more radical members of the Democrat Party such as Rashida Tlaib and also produced a film highlighting former First Lady Michelle Obama. It seems that AG Merrick Garland did minimal vetting in his selection of this 'independent' counsel that he hired to prosecute Trump. Then, Marxists always need a devil. In this case, President Biden's using Ultra MAGA and Semi Fascist tropes to do just that. The media is similarly attacking Elon Musk since he's the world's richest man, but to them, because he reinstated Trump on Twitter, he must be the world's dumbest man. Later, the two attorneys who firebombed a police vehicle in the summer of 2020 were charged and sentenced to a lighter sentence with help from the DOJ. Yet there are people that were held in jail for longer periods of time for never throwing a single Molotov cocktail, but simply parading and trespassing on January 6th. Afterward, Kelly Tshibaka calls in with an update on her still very close and undecided campaign for the US Senate for which counting was stalled because of newly instituted rank-choice voting. Tshibaka reiterated that Sen. Lisa Murkowski has been censured by the Republican Party of Alaska and is no longer considered a Republican., but Murkowski gets the backing from Mitch McConnell. Alaskans have the opportunity to elect a Republican to the Senate. Not a Lisa Murkowski Republican, but an actual one. Because of a 2020 ballot measure, Alaska now has a ranked-choice voting system which led two Republicans, Kelly Tshibaka and Lisa Murkowski, to square off in the general election. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has spent millions in the red state to boost Murkowski. So why is the establishment gunning for Kelly Tshibaka? She joins Lisa to talk about this and the importance of sending strong conservatives to the Senate. The campaign that lasted for a year and a half is finally drawing to its climax. Only one ingredient is left for a Red Wave of epic proportions: Massive voter turnout on election day itself. On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, this election is about the culture, the country, and the future. Crime is out of control, sanctuary cities are a haven for illegal immigrants, and Democrats are responsible for promoting it all. Yet they blame you for the anarchy and lawlessness that they allow and encourage. Since when is it a good idea to shut down energy production and increase inflation and government spending? Then, why aren't President George W. Bush, former Speakers John Boehner, and Paul Ryan, or Governor Chris Christie speaking up and campaigning for Republican candidates in this last week before the midterm elections? Later, Kelly Tshibaka, the US Senate candidate in Alaska, calls in with an update on her final push to unseat Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Tshibaka says she needs our help to win in Alaska. Afterward, JD Vance, the US Senate candidate for Ohio joins the show with an update on this final week of campaigning before Election Day. Vance says that there are only 1000 billionaires in the U.S we don't need 87,000 more IRS agents. Vance rejected the hormonal experimentation that is done on our children in the name of gender equality. Finally, Leora levy, the US Senate candidate for Connecticut calls in to explain how close the race is between her and Sen. Blumenthal and how much of a failure his record is. Levy added that Connecticut pays more for energy than almost all other states in the country. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, the White House has no answers on the Diesel shortage because it's this administration's policies that caused these very problems. The Biden administration used the climate change lie to spend our economy into a recession. Now, none of the Democrats are running on climate change because they know it's not a winning issue at the ballot box. Later, Alaska's US Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka calls in to discuss her quest to unseat 41-year incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski. Tshibaka mentioned that Sen. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell has worked extra hard to defend Murkowski and stop her campaign because Tshibaka is an unabashed conservative. Afterward, Former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt calls in to discuss his campaign for the US Senate. Laxalt noted that the Democrats have spent a record-breaking $90 million to defeat him this far and has vowed to keep pushing until the end, especially since he's ahead in the latest polls. On Friday's Mark Levin Show, Nancy Pelosi's January 6 committee failed miserably. It found not a shred of evidence tying Donald Trump to any kind of "insurrection" or violent attack on the Capitol Building, despite all the emails, texts, witnesses, and, most of all, the complete control of the entire apparatus and narrative without any opposition. The show-trial hearings proved nothing. Then, Muslim parents continue to be enraged by the hyper-sexualization of school children. America's children are on the ballot and the pornography industry is taking over their classrooms. Later, critics are calling for the Ben Shapiro of the Daily Wire to fire Candace Owens because of her friendship with Kanye West in response to his grotesque comments about Jews. Conservatives must be secure in their views and don't need to hitch themselves to figures in popular culture. Afterward, Congressional candidate Yesli Vega joins the show to discuss why Rep. Abigail Spanberger must be defeated for her tax and spend policies and support for radical gender teaching in public schools and laws that allow the prosecution of parents who disagree with a school's woke agenda. Finally, US Senate candidate from Alaska, Kelly Tshibaka, calls in with an update on her race against Sen. Lisa Murkowski who is oftentimes the deciding vote for the Democrats even though she claims to be a Republican. Tshibaka says that shared American values are on the ballot and Alaskans must rally against Sen. Mitch McConnell's choice in this election. Learn more about your ad choices. It's the most important midterm since the Civil War, and Mitch McConnell is spending $9 million defending RINO Lisa Murkowski to stave off Trump-endorsed conservative challenger Kelly Tshibaka. Tshibaka joins Charlie to dissect McConnell's motives and explain how voters can thwart Murkowski's desperate rank-choice scheme to maintain her family's political dynasty. Then, Charlie dives into comical audio of AOC being heckled for betraying her old antiwar positions and joining the rush toward World War 3.Support the show: http://www.charliekirk.com/supportSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Former President Donald Trump wants to exert his influence in Alaska this November, with endorsements for several Republican candidates: U.S. House candidate and former Gov. Sarah Palin, U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka and Gov. Mike Dunleavy. Ep.K324: Billionaires and Big Checks Shape Battle for Congress Billionaires cut giant checks to super PACs. Small donors gave online in mass quantities. And both political parties announced record-setting hauls in 2021. The 2022 midterm elections were awash in political money even before the year began, according to new Federal Election Commission campaign disclosures. With control of both chambers up for grabs, the two parties were almost equally matched when it came to fundraising last year. The Democratic and Republican national committees, as well as the main House and Senate committees, pulled in nearly identical sums — about $400 million each. On the Republican side, several primary contests in the coming months will pit the Trump wing of the party against more traditional Republicans. Sen. Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, the only Republican up for reelection in 2022 to have voted for former President Donald Trump's impeachment, faces a right-wing challenge from Kelly Tshibaka, a Trump-endorsed rival. Among Murkowski's donors in December was George W. Bush, who listed his occupation as “former president.” Overall, Murkowski raised nearly $1.4 million and reported entering 2022 with $4.2 million cash on hand. Tshibaka raised $602,000 and had $634,000 cash on hand. Bush made one other symbolic donation: the legal maximum of $5,800 to Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming, one of the most outspoken anti-Trump Republicans in Congress. Like Murkowski, Cheney outraised her Trump-backed challenger, Harriet Hageman, collecting $2 million to Hageman's $443,000 last quarter. The battleground contests expected to determine which party is in the Senate majority are shaping up to be especially expensive. In Georgia, Sen. Raphael Warnock, a Democrat, was the top 2022 Senate fundraiser, collecting $9.8 million in the fourth quarter. Warnock had nearly $23 million at the end of the year. His likely Republican opponent, former football player Herschel Walker, was urged to run by Trump. Walker has emerged as one of the strongest new Republican fundraisers, raising $5.4 million, with $5.4 million in the bank. Big money flowed, in particular, to super PACs focused on control of Congress. In the House, the leading Republican super PAC and linked nonprofit announced raising twice as much money as the equivalent House Democratic groups, $110 million compared with $55 million last year. Source article: https://udn.com/news/story/6904/6125265
