After a break with family and a slower pace of life, Josh returns with some existential questions, one in particular that's been sitting heavy: Am I conforming to what everyone else around me is doing, or am I "appointing" my time well with the people who need me most? Drawing from Isaiah 43, Psalm 90, and Viktor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning, Josh walks through what it looks like to grieve the past well, release the assignments of old, and step fully into the season God has for your family right now. He further unpacks how sweetening retrospect—or nostalgically living in the past—can breed depression, how anxiety about the future keeps us from the present, and why the mundane drive-time moments are shaping the hearts of your children more than you realize. A practical, honest reset if you're catching yourself distracted or not as intentional as you wish you might be. ** Thank you to Bernhardt Watches for sponsoring this episode! Liverpool is currently engaged in advanced discussions with Andoni Iraola as they seek to appoint a new head coach following the dismissal of Arne Slot. Iraola departed from Bournemouth at the conclusion of the season and is the leading candidate for the position at Anfield.Liverpool is eager to finalize an appointment as soon as possible and desires a manager who aligns with their preferred style of play, which emphasizes proactive and aggressive football. Although no inquiries have been made regarding Iraola's potential coaching staff, the 43-year-old Spaniard is interested in bringing along his assistant from Bournemouth, Tommy Elphick, who is a lifelong supporter of Liverpool.According to BBC Sport, Elphick has not yet been contacted by the Reds but would welcome the opportunity. The recruitment process is being overseen by Richard Hughes, Liverpool's sporting director, who has previously collaborated with Iraola at Bournemouth. The Reds terminated Slot's contract on Saturday, just one year after the Dutch manager led them to the Premier League title.

I've never shared a disclaimer when introducing podcast episodes, but this episode is a very technical and tedious study through Scripture. It requires focus, patience, and a willingness to slow down because it is very detail-heavy. This is one that will challenge the way you think about the “Mosaic Covenant.” Also—I encourage you to listen to Episode 9 (the previous episode) before listening to this one. In this episode, we will tackle the chronology of the ordering of events and the giving of commandments in the books of Moses. The question we will be addressing is: Are the books of Moses written in strict chronological order...or is there something deeper going on?We will carefully walk through the timeline from Mount Sinai to the plains of Moab and uncover how the Torah is actually structured—showing that while the narrative often flows forward, the commandments and events are not always recorded in the order they happened. This distinction changes EVERYTHING.We will cover:--When Aaron and his sons were truly consecrated--When and why the Levites were set apart--How the Golden Calf incident became a turning point for priesthood and mediation--The difference between appointment vs. installation of the Levites--Why some passages in Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy appear “out of order”--What it means that Israel went from a kingdom of priests to a kingdom with priestsBy comparing Scripture with Scripture, we begin to piece together a more accurate timeline—one that reveals how the Levitical priesthood was established after the Golden Calf incident, and how that shift impacts covenant understanding. This episode will also piece these findings together to form a bigger picture regarding the distinction between the covenants in Moses, the role of mediation, and how this ultimately points us to the greater High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.Throughout this episode, you may be provoked to think, what's the big deal, and why does this even matter? It matters because understanding the Melchizedek Priesthood matters. This episode may challenge you. But this is not a surface-level conversation—it's an invitation into deeper study. A think tank's warning the way we appoint public agency leaders is hindering the Government from governing. The New Zealand Initiative says consecutive governments struggling to fulfil their promises is due to elected ministers being unable to choose a department's chief executive. Executive Director Oliver Hartwich says the Public Service Commissioner makes the appointment, which can happen before a minister is elected. He told Ryan Bridge that ministers may be forced to work with department heads appointed during the previous government's term, who may not be happy with you and vice versa, and that doesn't work well to implement the Government's agenda. In 1 Timothy 5:22-25, Paul teaches that we are to affirm elders carefully in the local church. True character is revealed over time, as both sin and virtue eventually come to light. Therefore, we are to wait and assess the character of men before affirming them to leadership in the Church. The post Appointing Elders in the Church appeared first on Caz Church.

What happens when a Royal Marine Commando dentist who spent six months being ambushed on every patrol in Helmand Province turns his hand to building dental businesses? You get Mike Hesketh: serial practice owner, consultant, and one of the more quietly formidable figures in UK dentistry. In this episode, Payman sits down with Mike to trace a story that runs from a North Wales council estate and the loss of his father at eight years old, through the front lines of Afghanistan, to a 10x practice exit and the creation of Dartmoor Dental — a 200-year-old manor house turned thriving, NHS-inclusive, ten-surgery practice. Mike talks with real candour about the four pillars he uses to build and consult on dental businesses, why he treats his NHS contract as a social obligation rather than a commercial one, and how the Royal Marines' mantra ‘cheerfulness in the face of adversity' translates surprisingly well to practice ownership. In This Episode00:02:00 — Growing up in North Wales; losing his father at eight00:07:40 — Deploying to Helmand Province with 40 Commando Royal Marines00:12:05 — Leaving the military; getting ripped off on day one as a civilian dentist00:13:05 — Buying his first practice with £20,000 and a devil-may-care attitude00:51:35 — Selling Exeter and the year-long family world trip00:54:25 — Laura and the brand; how Dartmoor grew from £700K to £2.5M00:56:00 — The NHS contract as a social obligation01:07:40 — Barriers to entry, squat risks, and buying underperforming practices01:19:00 — Appointing the youngest clinician as clinical lead01:27:00 — Military-derived leadership principles; letting the ship sail without you01:33:15 — Fee guides as windows to the soul01:39:55 — The four pillars: leadership, infrastructure, branding, financial command and control01:53:35 — Darkest days in business01:57:30 — KPIs: one metric, embed the culture, then move on02:11:55 — Fantasy dinner partyAbout Mike HeskethMike Hesketh is a practice owner, dental business consultant, and founder of Hesketh Healthcare Accounting. He qualified as a dentist whilst serving as an officer with 40 Commando Royal Marines, completing the commando course and deploying to Helmand Province, Afghanistan. After leaving the military, he built and sold Exeter Dental Centre before buying and transforming Dartmoor Dental — a ten-surgery practice in Tavistock — from a £700K turnover to £2.5M in three years. Mike holds an MBA and a coaching qualification from Henley Business School, and works with a small number of practices on a bespoke, year-long consultancy basis.

The Inspector-General of Police occupies one of the most powerful positions in Nigeria's security structure, overseeing nationwide policing and internal security.Yet beyond politics and public debate, questions remain about what the law says regarding who appoints the IGP, the required qualifications, and limits on age and years of service. Today on Nigeria Daily, we examine the legal framework, the provisions of the Police Act, and what all this means for public trust and national security.
The unfolding failure to fully release and comply with the law surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files has exposed a deeper institutional problem inside the Department of Justice and the Administration. Congress passed a transparency measure through extraordinary means, it became law, and a clear deadline was set. That deadline was missed, and even after partial production, significant questions remain about withheld documents, redactions, and the true scope of what has not been released. When an agency effectively grades its own compliance in a matter involving powerful elites, political exposure, and decades of institutional embarrassment, public trust collapses. The issue is no longer simply about Epstein's crimes, but about whether the government can credibly investigate and disclose information that may implicate influential figures or reveal internal failures.Because DOJ leadership operates within the same political structure potentially affected by the fallout, an independent special counsel is the only mechanism capable of restoring legitimacy. A special counsel would have the authority to audit compliance, compel production, investigate obstruction, examine redaction decisions, and pursue any broader criminal enterprise or facilitation network that remains unaddressed. This would shift the process from managed transparency to enforceable accountability, protecting both victims and the integrity of the investigation. Without structural independence, every delay, redaction, or narrowed scope will appear self-protective. Appointing a special counsel is not about politics; it is about ensuring that the law is enforced impartially and that no institution is allowed to police itself in a case of this magnitude.to contact me:bobbycapucci@protonmail.com

If you've ever felt like you're doing everything "right" and still not seeing the growth you know God promised… this episode is for you. In today's conversation, I'm inviting you into the real tension faith-driven entrepreneurs face when the doors don't open as fast as our obedience seems to deserve. We're talking about the wrestle between divine timing and strategic stewardship, and how to know the difference. I share the deeper purpose behind God's "waiting rooms," why your anointing doesn't always equal immediate appointing, and how spiritual maturity shapes the way you lead, build, and discern your next move. If you've been praying, pushing, and showing up, but progress still feels slow, I want to give you clarity, peace, and a framework to recognize what God is doing in the background. This episode will strengthen your endurance, sharpen your discernment, and remind you that delayed growth is never wasted. God is forming something in you that strategy alone cannot produce… and when the moment of release comes, you will be ready. And if you want more daily encouragement, biblical wisdom, and business strategy for your calling, come hang out with me on Instagram: @resistandroar. 1. Federal Control of D.C. Police Trump invoked Section 740 of the D.C. Home Rule Act to place the D.C. police under federal control. He declared a public safety emergency, citing high crime rates including murder, carjackings, and assaults. Additional measures included: Reassigning FBI agents to nighttime patrols. Deploying the National Guard. Appointing a federal commissioner for the D.C. police. 2. Legal Justification The podcast outlines constitutional and statutory authority for Trump’s actions: Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 of the U.S. Constitution. D.C. Code Section 49-49 and the 1973 Home Rule Act. Reference to Posse Comitatus Act and DOJ opinions that D.C. is legally distinct from other cities. 3. Criticism of Democrats and Media Hosts argue that Democrats and mainstream media are unfairly criticizing Trump’s actions. They claim Democrats oppose law enforcement and support policies that increase crime (e.g., no cash bail). The podcast accuses the media of misrepresenting Trump’s actions as dictatorial. 4. Military Action Against Drug Cartels Trump reportedly authorized military force against cartels like MS-13 and Cartel de los Soles. The move is compared to Plan Colombia, a U.S. military initiative under President George W. Bush. The podcast suggests this could be a turning point in combating drug-related violence and trafficking. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.
