What's Up #Diamonds, Welcome, Truthful Tuesday the day to be honest with yourself about something and if it's not good confessing it is always the first step to fixing it and if its good #kudos to you as long as your not too vain about it. For me, it always seems to go left even when I am trying to make it right.  This is the week right before Mother's Day and it seems all any woman truly wants is a good night peaceful sleep basically some rest, the other half just wants to be around her family for the day. Sometimes that can be difficult when you have older children that have their own lives with lots of things going on. Nailing everyone down at the same time can be the most challenging at least that is what I find being a mom with older children or "ie" young adults. Everyone is just so busy... for me, I don't need all day just a few hours with everyone together would work.  You will be hearing me talk about moms all week so just be prepared after all its #Mothersday week, join me in the morning at 9:00am EST I have a new group I will be introducing. What's Up Diamonds, No jury duty today so I was able to be live one more day we will have to wait and see what happens on Friday, just another week to go and April will be gone and so will my jury duty. I don't mind doing my civic duty but for a whole month...#really. Today is the official start of my week where I get to play most of the music in my library whilst I sit back and listen with you and surf the social media. It is truthful Tuesday the day to be honest about yourself sometimes admitting or confessing things about yourself can be difficult and it can also unravel the ribbon to show a brand new you. Lots of times we need that, being honest with yourself can break down barriers you might have and give you the I don't give a damn what you think about me type of attitude. I think it's invigorating it has helped me come to terms with a lot about me, you should try it.  It's not so much that we don't care about people as much as it doesn't matter what they think or says about you anymore this is who you are, you either accept that or keep it moving. after all the only one we have to answer to is God not man. Man is definitely in no position to judge we are God's property whether we are black or white, good or bad so make a #notetoself on that one. What's Up Diamonds, So far so good this morning thang is waking me up now to work out the glitches I have reverted to my laughter default a few times already mainly because my music uploads have been slow to process due to minor things like " - " yep that's what it is "dashes". See the night before it leads me to believe it took my uploads but when I get in the studio it is still processing.... frustrating to say the least. It's just a matter of checks and balances right... but hey the music is #awesome... social media is alright. The one thing I am noticing about social media is not all the time something interesting is going on I want to pick a popular but it seems what others find popular, I find as kinda stupid or negative. I mean it is easier to be negative and takes work to be positive could it be our society cares more about animals than people? However, I am having #fun and I hope you are having fun to I got nothing fancy going on here working out the glitches myself and I'll get there.. What's Up Diamonds! Is everyone enjoying their beautiful fall weather? For a minute here in Virginia I did not feel like it was fall because of the  heat and humidity that hit us the past few days it's a lot better now in the fall weather is coming back I am so glad. Thank you for supporting the show listening every week,  thank you for supporting my guest and patronizing their business it truly means a lot to me #appreciation.  The holiday season is coming up on us before we know it Christmas time I know that's not what you want to hear but... face it October is almost gone there is only 2 months left of the year...Although there are many people that may not feel like celebrating this year due to so much tragedy this year caused by #guns and #mothernature my #prayers are still with those people I have not stopped praying.  However it's coming the shopping is here as well if you check out the LJDNShow website my page you will see what I think it's a great gift idea especially for that serious coffee drinker in your life I've posted five different types of coffee brewers recommended by Consumer Reports (CR). What's Up #Diamonds, I realize this is very late but due to a close family members death I had to travel I did not get back until Thursday and trying to play catch-up is not going as smooth as I thought. Even with all the craziness that's  going on in the world businesses are still flourishing and growing new businesses are still emerging small business are still striving to run with the big dogs. It feels good to interview a new business looking for economic ways to bloom ad that is what this show is all about.  Monday's guess it's a restaurant owner in Chesapeake she owns a Caribbean cuisine restaurant that specializes good old Jamaican cooking you can check her out when your looking to get your "Jerk" on.  The name of the restaurant is called "The Real Ting"  yeah that's what I said "The Real Ting" I know it sounds like the one of my typos which is typical of me but this  is no typo. Welcome to another episode of the show and welcome summer we really haven't had much summer weather in Va. the past couple of weeks but I think it's coming cause it's getting hot in here! To all those that are new to the show welcome and I hope you enjoy the show. This summer fun month except for  the Talent In 10 show I have an interview with  RJ Comer.  We will be talking about children yours, mine, and ours, kids you got a love them. As with most kids they bore easily  (I know A few adults with that same problem), so what to do with them school now that school is out or will be out. The weather's going to be hot and your probably only get one vacation week to really do something with your kids out of a 12 week summer. So what are you going to do for the rest of the summer? Well there's lots of things you can do summer camp is always the best way to go but if you don't have money for summer camp what do you do? We have our resident teacher/daycare worker/kid friendly Miss. Monique a.k.a. Joy Andrews she will be in on Monday with some tips on what we can do with them. She will give us some tips on places to take the kids that are inexpensive or free and believe me she's very frugal so if she says it's not gonna cost much it's really isn't that way your kids can have fun this summer. What's Up #Diamonds! Welcome September! I just absolutely loooove this time of year when the hot summer comes to an end, I am truly a fall, spring girl. Summer can be fun but there is not but so much heat I can take. What's Up #Diamonds, It feels like I've been gone longer but I haven't, picking up from where I left off is the most difficult part the summer always brings new challenges that stack on top of everything else mainly because it is vacation season for lots of us. Although I don't understand why it is called vacation because you do so much during that time (for most of us) that we need a vacation from our vacation. I feel like I could sleep for another 3 days at least but I'll muttle through and snap the heck out of it cause its #showtime, I thank you for your patience and your support! So much has happened since I spoke to you last wow it seems like the world is spinning out of control. On a lighter note re-connecting with entrepreneurs I've interviewed in the past is always a pleasant experience. Voice over Actor Roderick Jefferson has added Public Speaker to his resume. You may not have heard about him but you've heard from him cause his voice has been opening up my show now for well over a year, he introduces me to you every Monday. Roderick Jefferson has an amazing voice and lately it has been taking him in all the right directions. What's Up #Diamonds, Welcome to another episode of my show! This show is non stop cause we don't stop! There is always something going on my shows. But... my show would not be a show without all my loyal Diamonds and curious listeners. Whether you're new or a regular listener I want to thank you for supporting this show, or my new phrase for the show "Unperfected Perfection". That phrase came to me a few weeks ago when I was listening to one of my shows SMH saying no matter how perfect I try to make this show it somehow is never completely there. I do appreciate your support and subscriptions so please subscribe. #sograteful I've heard some complaints about not being able to get a clear connection from your mobile phones and I am working on finding out what the problem is and how it can be fixed. Dude she had everyone dancing, you couldn't keep still that is just how good her music is. What's Up Diamonds, I did not forget to post my show! Technical difficulties prevented me from posting and I was NOT going to post until I had it all together. Due to our computer crash 2x about a week ago it's been a little crazy for me but when is it not you might be asking? That's question I would certainly like to know when.  Everything seems to be getting back in place slowly. It just goes to show me that I can never get to complacent, everything has been working fine for a while now it the technical part of the show. Well I got tied up in other things and put off my back-up and of course that is when everything would crash right.... so I had to re-design some stuff.. either way to make a long story short I'm here and I'm up so how you doing? May is the start of a new month with all new guest for the show, my first guest of the month is a couple of ladies I met at a Relay for Life rally they are Damita B. What's Up #Diamonds, Welcome to another episode of the Talent In 10 Project with one more week left to go and that will be it for October 2015. It's been #fun but it's time to move on... next month is turkey month and not too long after that will be Xmas all over again! Time for my Holiday Show 2015. I Hope you all will join me and some social friends that will be calling-in sharing their holiday plans and traditions with us, keep listening and supporting this show I can't thank you enough and I love you all. Don't forget daylight savings time is next weekend your clocks will go back an hour which gives us an hour more to sleep. I know I'm looking forward to that! Being that this is the month for all scary things for the Talent In 10 Project I decided to have spooky movies. I don’t really care for a lot of gorey movies so I chose sci-fi spooky, which is not always about blood and guts cluster pretty good if I do say so, my selection of movies are very entertaining you'll like them. This Wed. is my Halloween Chesapeake/Greenbrier Meet&Greet at the Aloft Chesapeake from 5 PM to 9 PM, business people and even nonbusiness people that live close by to area should make sure you stop by and say hello. There will be basket raffles one of them will have all types of Halloween fun him stuff in it! R him while remember 7% of all proceeds will be donated to a nonprofit charitable organization. What's Up #Diamonds, This month is moving so fast it seems lik only yesterday that I posted my first show! As a growing show I have my share of mishaps and still do but I try to remain positive and work on fixing problems as they occur (Lord Help Me!). October is the month that kicks off the holiday season! I am looking to gettin cozy on your couch with you on Monday evenings. What's Up Diamonds! First thing I need to apologize for last weeks show, the reason you don't see it in my episodes is because I delelted it... to find out why check out my September's recap on the shows official website. I tell you all about it and about my crazy, crazy month! There was some good and a lot of bad, but that's okay because I'm still keeping it moving.  Thank you for your listens, and I appreciate all of your sharing and kind mentions on both Twitter and Facebook. A new month brings a whole new set of guests Monday’s show I will have Steve Hester in case you don’t know him, he is the Lead Singer of the group Dejavoodoo I met Steve almost 2 years ago on social media he was one of the very few Diamonds that followed me when I only had a few followers. Steve stuck in there with me so when I told him I was starting radio show and asked if I could use his music he was more than willing to help. He gave me permission to use his music on my show,  interviewed on my show, and he sent me some free CDs giveaway on the show.  The funny thing is for Steve’s initial interview he canceled at the last minute due to an unexpected family  death, but you know what, he reschedule with me and he showed up and gave me an awesome interview. He is such a cool down to earth person he has strong believes in family and God please listen in as I speak to my social friend Steve Hester. Phone lines will be open Showtime starts at 6 PM EST. What's Up #Diamonds! Welcome to episode no.5 of the Talent In 10 Project I hope you are all doing well and am looking forward to this show like I am. I do however must apolopgize for the last two shows I had some audio problems with the new system Blog Talk Radio has upgraded to. Blog talk radio has a new system where it puts you in stereo mode it’s called “hi-fi”, it makes everything sound better but for the past two weeks I’ve been using it, I think I’m going to go back to Skype until they can work out all the bumps in the new system.  I thank you for our support of the businesses, entrepreneurs and musicians that I promote here on the show. This week on Talent In 10 I have short films from several #IndieFilmmakers I also have another skit from Theory Animation Ray and Clovis. The first couple of films you’ll hear will be drama &comedy, the second half of the film’s that I play will be about bullying. I saw the movie “The Gift” and it was about an adult bully which I think we all know at least one. With school starting some of us have kids that will face being bullied or are the bully at school. Bullying is a serious type of crime and I hope these short films with help you, your child, grandchild, niece or nephew when or if they decide to come to you to tell you about a problem like this at school.
