✨ Episode Summary:In this uncommonly creative episode, J.R. sits down with Dylan Coburn, a powerhouse in animation, illustration, directing, and storytelling whose journey spans nearly three decades. From drawing Donald Duck for Disney's Quack Pack in 1995 to directing Superman: Red Son and influencing The Rings of Power, Dylan shares a detailed behind-the-scenes look at how animation evolved — and how he stayed ahead of the curve.Dylan unpacks his early days in animation, the industry's shift to digital in the late '90s, and what it took to launch his own studio from scratch. We dive into the philosophy of storyboarding, the nuance of visual effects art direction, and how he brings massive properties like Percy Jackson, Minecraft: The Movie, and The Meg to life through visual storytelling.Plus: Dylan talks about becoming an author of Pocket Screenplays, collaborating with AEW wrestling stars The Young Bucks, and how he balances creativity in an AI-driven world.

This episode uncovers the beginnings of our Spongebob is Percy Jackson lore. Percy meets Hermes, gets his quest, and discovers Luke's new evil lair. We miss how dramatic Luke was as a villain, and theorize about how that will play out in the show. We still are not fans of cruise ships. Some things never change... Welcome, once again, to our annual house of horror special!! This year, we kickoff with, yet again, another Hammer Film. This time, we're covering The Gorgon, featuring Peter Cushing and the wonderful treasure that is Patrick Troughton. We then move onto The Blood on Satan's Claw, featuring the lovely Wendy Padbury and a somewhat subdued Anthony Ainley. Join us as we discuss Diana's inability to recognize actors when they either sport crazy mustaches or wear spectacularly poor wigs, Julie's inability to recognize famous rock stars, Anthony's best one-word review of “Meh”, and Reilly's new job of pre-screening films for our specials for obvious reasons. Additionally, please let us know if we need yet another running metric for “the Diana uncomfortable count”. Mia Goth is the latest actor shedding a bit of light on the long-shelved Blade movie from Marvel Studios. In an interview with Elle, promoting her upcoming appearance in Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein, Goth shared only that she is still attached to the film and commented that “It's for the best that it's taken the time it has. They want to do it right.” This is in line with Kevin Feige's comments this summer that the film is still moving forward. In an interview with the AP this week, Adam Driver dropped some major information about the Ben Solo movie in Star Wars that never was. Driver explained that Lucasfilm was interested in continuing his character's story in a film that had a script written by Steven Soderbergh. Driver was supportive of the script and the creative team took it to Bob Iger and Alan Bergman at Disney who turned the project down as they “didn't see how Ben Solo was alive.” Fan favorites Amber Midthunder and Walton Goggins will star in a new action movie from the creator of the John Wick franchise. The film, called Painter, has a major executive producer credit - with Avatar and Titanic director James Cameron serving in that role. Stunt coordinator Garrett Warren, who worked with Cameron on the last two Avatars as well as Logan and the Road House reboot, is directing the movie; a debut effort. The movie's plot will focus on Midthunder's character, trained as a child who must save her father after he is kidnapped.Lightning RoundKate McKinnon has joined the cast of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” Season 3 and will play Aphrodite.Jim Carrey is in talks to star in a live action film adaptation of The Jetsons from Warner Bros. Pictures that has Colin Trevorrow attached to direct and write the script. There have been attempts to reboot the animated series from the 1960s in some form at various times over the years, but this is the first project that seems to have some traction.Blumhouse's The Black Phone 2 took the number one spot at the box office this weekend with a worldwide box office opening of $42 million, with $26.5 million from North America and $15.5 million from international markets. Disney's Tron: Ares is at $103M global for ten-days and is currently bound to lose more than $132M off a $220 million net production cost.Colman Domingo has been cast as the voice of the Cowardly Lion in “Wicked: For Good.” The announcement was made on the “Wicked” Instagram account on Monday, with Domingo hiding behind a lion stuffed animal before revealing himself and saying: “See you in Oz!”Netflix has won the rights to adapt the popular Asmodee board game Settlers of Catan and is planning an array of projects — scripted and unscripted, live-action and animated based on the franchise.AppleTV has released some first look photos for Shrinking season 3 and has confirmed a release date. On Prophecy Radio episode #143, Karen and Kristen catch up on some news odds and ends, including some new Percy Jackson and the Olympians character posters. They also discuss The Red Pyramid chapters 39 and 40, including their favorite moments and a few very significant twists and turns. New episodes of Prophecy Radio air every other week. All discussions are PG-13. News and Updates (00:24:11) Character posters, ya'll! A trio poster that might be a repeat, but just in case you haven't seen it yet. Rick took a photo with our new Zoe Nightshade and her significantly annotated book. These kids are getting to do all kinds of stunts. Steph Lurie dressed up to put Mark and Rick on trial at the Texas Book Festival Happy Birthday, Virginia Kull! The Red Pyramid discussion (00:30:50) Mini recap, in case you need a refresher. Let's talk about chapter 39. We take a minute to coo over Rick's narrative style in this book. Zia confounds us with some pertinent but infuriating advice. Set's secret name is underwhelming, but we discuss how that might have been inevitable. Isis warns Sadie Sadie's visions could have each been their own chapter. For sure. Who will sit on these 3 thrones? A touching father/daughter moment to ease the pain. The tale of the four Kanes. Her mother saw what was coming, her father did what he had to do, and now Sadie and Carter must see it all through. Isis and Sadie merge and we get our rainbow-warrior-goddess moment. Favorite lines and Favorite moments Time for the penultimate chapter discussion! Sadie's dual vision might be one of the cooler story-telling devices I've read in a long time. Time for a trip to the capital! The real enemy is finally brought into the light. Sadie and Carter have a moment. Two twists in a row really show how much has been going on that we couldn't see earlier in the story. Set was being used just like he was puppeteering Amos. The enemy of my enemy might just come in useful later on, so we might have to spare them. This Zia twist is one we definitely didn't see coming. Desjardins is pissed and astonished at the Kane's willpower. Favorite lines and Favorite moments Feedback (01:32:10) Longtime listener David Ludwig shares some of the Court of the Dead book tour fun from Denver! Here's that cocoa puff video in case you are interested! Thanks for listening, and tune in next time for episode 144, where we'll wrap up our discussion of The Red Pyramid with chapter 41, as well as get you up to date on more Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan news. Buckle up for another fun-filled episode of Wise_N_Nerdy with Charles and Joe as they dive into fandom, family, and fatherhood with plenty of laughs along the way. This week kicks off with the Question of the Week: “Who is the worst or best fictional character to have as a road trip guest?” The hosts play a variety of hilarious speakpipes and share their own picks, from Percy Jackson to David from Jumper—and even Pokémon like Muk and Jigglypuff. With the traditional roll of the dice guiding the show, the first stop is the Parliament of Papas segment, where Charles and Joe tackle the tricky topic of whether or not you're truly required to socialize in the workplace. From there, it's time for Daddy, Tell Me A Story, where Joe shares a surprising tale about his grandfather—who just happened to be a “hippo whisperer.” Yes, you read that right. He knew the trick to get hippos at the zoo to open their mouths so visitors could pet their tongues!Of course, no episode would be complete without some bad dad jokes—this time centered around executioners. After the laughs, the dice bring us to the How Do I...? segment, where the discussion gets real about how to handle bullies, offering advice that's practical for kids and adults alike. The hosts also share more community speakpipes, including several from listener CaseyJay, sparking fun discussions about K-Pop Demon Hunters and the funny things kids repeat that they probably shouldn't.Finally, the What Are You Nerding Out About? segment brings everything home. Charles opens up about some of the real-life stresses and guilt that come with managing income and responsibility, while Joe closes things out with a glowing recommendation of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Matt Dinniman—describing it as Hunger Games meets Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy with the fun, chaotic mechanics of games like Diablo. If you're looking to laugh, learn, and connect, this episode is packed with stories, jokes, and nerdy goodness that prove why Wise_N_Nerdy is the place to Find your FAMdom.Wise_N_Nerdy: Where Fatherhood Meets Fandom

Here's a puzzle that will stop you cold: ADHD has exploded into public consciousness. More diagnoses than ever. More research. More conversations. And yet? Turn on your television. What stares back at you?The class clown. The scatterbrained sidekick. The walking punchline.Something doesn't add up.This disconnect—between lived reality and screen reality—forms the heart of this week's conversation with Matthew Fox, whose passion for dissecting genre media runs as deep as his own neurodivergent experience. Fox hosts Superhero Ethics and other podcasts that examine the ethics woven through our most beloved stories. But today, they're hunting bigger game.Consider this: Maria von Trapp. "How do you solve a problem like Maria?" Sound familiar? Fox argues she's ADHD incarnate. Flighty. Unpredictable. Out of focus. The nuns can't pin her down. Neither can we, apparently. Because nobody—not once—uses the words. That's the pattern. Characters burst with hyperactivity, impulsivity, attention challenges. Dennis the Menace in the '50s. Tigger bouncing through the Hundred Acre Wood. Calvin racing after imaginary adventures. All ADHD-coded. None explicitly labeled. Why does this matter? Because children search desperately for themselves in stories. Adults do too, though less consciously. When representation gets frozen in stereotype—or worse, buried in subtext—it shapes how teachers see students, how employers evaluate talent, how we see ourselves. The conversation zigzags through terrain both familiar and startling. Percy Jackson, where ADHD becomes a god-given power. Phil Dunphy, the endearing but scattered dad. Jake Peralta solving crimes through controlled chaos. Then the darker territory: Barney Stinson using ADHD as an excuse for predatory behavior. But here's where it gets interesting. Fox notices something that escaped everyone else: the gender patterns. Hyperactive male character? Meet his organized, grounding female partner. It's everywhere once you see it. Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Modern Family. New Girl. The narrative is always the same—love of a steady woman tames the chaotic man.And buried within all of this lies a more uncomfortable truth. In our hunger to see ourselves on screen, we claim characters who were never intended as representation. We read ADHD into Kirk and Spock, into Hiccup and his dragon, into anyone who shows even a glimmer of recognition. Is that enough? Should it be?Whether you're searching for positive examples for your children or trying to untangle how decades of media have shaped your own relationship with neurodivergence, this conversation might just shift how you watch ... everything.Links & NotesShows and MoviesModern Family - Phil Dunphy as ADHD-coded characterBrooklyn Nine-Nine - Jake Peralta as positive ADHD representationHow I Met Your Mother - Barney Stinson as problematic ADHD portrayalNew Girl - Nick and Jess relationship dynamicThe Simpsons - Bart Simpson and Ritalin episode (2000)Community - Abed Nadir as autism-coded characterParenthood (TV series) - Autism representationArrow - Felicity Smoak as ADHD-coded characterK-pop Demon Hunter - Zoe as positive ADHD representationThe Sound of Music - Maria von Trapp as ADHD-codedFinding Nemo/Finding Dory - Dory as ADHD representationHow to Train Your Dragon - Hiccup as ADHD-codedBooks and CharactersPercy Jackson series by Rick Riordan - ADHD as demigod traitCalvin and Hobbes - Calvin as ADHD-codedDennis the Menace - Classic hyperactive representationWinnie the Pooh characters as neurodivergent representationPodcasts by Matthew FoxThe Ethical PandaSuperhero EthicsStar Wars GenerationsMarvel Movie Minute (co-hosted with Pete Wright)The Once and Future Parent(Coming soon!)Links & NotesSupport the Show on PatreonDig into the podcast Shownotes Database (00:00) - Welcome to Taking Control: The ADHD Podcast (01:22) - Support the Show and Become a Patron! On Prophecy Radio episode #142, Karen and Kristen dissect the latest Percy Jackson and the Olympians news, plus the release of The Court of the Dead by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro. They also discuss The Red Pyramid chapters 37 and 38, including their favorite moments and what they think will happen next. New episodes of Prophecy Radio air every other week. All discussions are PG-13. News and Updates (00:10:37) The Court of the Dead by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro is officially out in the world! Did you get any of the special editions? (We definitely did.) Did you see the pictures and videos of Rick signing books and Funkos? Leah turned 16 last month! Do these Percy Jackson and the Olympians behind-the-scenes clips mean we'll be getting another BTS documentary?? We go through a slightly older Entertainment Weekly article to discuss the next Senior Year Adventures book. When can we expect the third and final Senior Year book to come out? Rick is strictly a middle grade author, and we're cool with that. What other gods would make for good series fodder a la Trials of Apollo? Other character-centric books are still on the table, and boy do we want them! The Red Pyramid discussion (00:29:14) All right, let's refresh our brains on what happened last time. Good. Now we can jump into The Red Pyramid chapter 37. Why does Set keep flickering between forms? We've really come around on Amos since we learned the truth. Set is SO sassy, and we're kind of here for it. Horus still wants to take over Carter's body, and Carter is still telling him no. Uh, where the heck is Nephthys? Sadie protecc. Thank goodness Carter figures out what Zia meant when she told him not to resist. Carter turns into a total badass! Favorite lines and favorite scenes. All right, time to jump into The Red Pyramid chapter 38. Carter having fun fighting and beating up on Set is slightly concerning. Why do they BOTH bleed black? They're about to bring down the house, so Carter tricks Set into becoming a fruit bat and then drags him outside the pyramid. Will Sadie be able to free their dad from the throne and his sarcophagus? We kind of already knew how to defeat Set, but he really lays it out for Carter. Did we feel bad about what happened to Desjardins? We totally did not expect Set to put the capstone on top of the pyramid. Sadie is a freaking rainbow, y'all! What name could Sadie have shouted? We wanted to read the next chapter SO BAD! But we discuss our favorite lines and favorite moments instead. Feedback (01:09:31) Ensign_Davies and Maria write in to tell us what they think of The Court of the Dead. Caoimhe is super excited about Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 2, and she let's us know one of our previous episodes was missing links. That's all fixed now! Thanks for listening, and tune in next time for episode 143, where we'll discuss The Red Pyramid chapters 39 and 40, as well as get you up to date on more Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan news. On Prophecy Radio episode #141, Karen and Kristen discuss the latest Percy Jackson and the Olympians news that they can find, including some minor casting they've overlooked, and some Rick Riordan Presents books and authors to make note of. We also breakdown The Red Pyramid chapters 35 and 36. New episodes of Prophecy Radio air every other week. All discussions are PG-13. News and Updates (00:16:25) Karen gets us caught up on her trip to New Orleans for her writing convention, as well as all the fun activities she found to do around town. Kristen has decidedly less to update on, but she's happy about some downtime in the middle of a busy September. No big official casting notices, but a couple things to keep in mind. The actor credited as Kronos in season 1: Will they show up as Kronos later, too? A camper credited as 'Sarah' is played by Threnody Tsai. Just in case that comes in handy later. Karen reached out on Insta to see if anyone could think of what season 3 characters we might still see cast. Grizzlymike718 reminded us about Apollo, Dr. Thorne, and Atlas. (As well as a few more very minor characters) Afantastyfanatic added in Oceanus and Rachel Elizabeth Dare. Final reminder that you can pick up your copy of A Court of the Dead VERY soon! It Lurks in the Night by Sarah Dass will arrive on January 27, 2026. The paperback for Serwa Boateng's Guide to Saving the World by Roseanne A. Brown comes out on April 7, 2026 We have a host of books being published in the next year from RRP authors via other publishing channels as well. A good variety of adult, fantasy, and even a little horror thrown in. The Red Pyramid discussion (00:38:05) Let's get started with our The Red Pyramid chapter 35 discussion. First up: the mini-recap. Sadie's ba travels to London where she seems some truly disturbing visions and is confronted by the truth that Carter would probably make a better ruler than her. Rude. Zia wakes Sadie to have a quick heart to heart with the boys away. Sadie puts her foot in her mouth for a second. Zia and Sadie are still at odds over what exactly is going on with Amos. Sadie makes a very specifically worded promise to Zia. Time for favorite scenes and favorite lines. And moving right along, it's time to discuss The Red Pyramid chapter 36. Our little group moves into the peace and calm of the eye of Set's storm. Time to get a little cloudy! How best to sabotage an Egyptian chaos agent from finishing his power pyramid. Why don't you contribute something helpful to the planning, Amos?! Zia is back in magical action (just a little light on the power at the moment) Amos' grand gestures are getting a little unremarkable these days. Karen is a little obsessed with all the red in that throne pyramid. From coffin to foot rest: poor Osiris. Real Amos is looking out, the other Amos is revealing something we all saw coming and didn't in equal measure. Favorite scenes and favorite lines from chapter 36. A quick bit of feedback where we wish a listener a very happy trip to see Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro on tour! Thanks for listening, and tune in next time for episode 142, where we'll discuss The Red Pyramid chapters 37 and 38, as well as get you up to date on more Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan news. To the surprise of most, Percy Jackson 2010 actually got a sequel in 2013's in Sea of Monsters. Sure the originally director didn't come back or a bunch of the original actors including horse Pierce Brosnan but the core trio of Percy, Percy's friend and Percy's another friend. This time they're on a quest for the Golden Fleece which they're going to use to heal a tree that makes a forcefield that used to be a girl. And Luke's back if you remember him! On this episode the boys talk about what they have been watching, Lego Wonka, Percy Jackson, and much more. Enjoy.
In the midst of Harry Potter fever every studio was looking for their own potential young adult franchise to bring to the big screen. In 2010 20th Century Fox settled on Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, beginning with Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. They even brought on board Christopher Columbus, the director of the first two Harry Potter movies. Sadly the magic wasn't replicated and what we got was a muddled half hearted attempt of an adaptation that fell short in almost every way minus the incredible cast of barely trying known names. On Prophecy Radio episode #140, Karen and Kristen discuss the latest Percy Jackson and the Olympians news, including the Artemis and Zoe Nightshade casting, plus the Percy Jackson 20th anniversary! We also breakdown The Red Pyramid chapters 33 and 34. New episodes of Prophecy Radio will air every other week. All discussions are PG-13. News and Updates (00:09:50) What's been going on with us? Books and work and football, oh my! There's a lot of news to talk about this week, even though we did a whole episode on the news last week! We go through the Percy Jackson season 2 stills from EW. Did you go see Freakier Friday and see one of the Percy Jackson cast members?? Karen is maybe too candid about her type. Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 has started filming! Is that…a monster? How excited are we about the Percy Jackson and the Olympians season 3 casting of Artemis and Zoe Nightshade? Are we waiting on anymore major casting for season 3? Can you believe it's been 20 years since The Lightning Thief has been released? Be sure to check out the Walt Disney Company's interview with Rick Riordan! Everyone wished Percy Jackson a happy birthday, including the Empire State Building. Don't forget Court of the Dead comes out on September 23! We finish up with favorite scenes and favorite lines. The Red Pyramid discussion (00:34:26) Let's kick this thing off with our The Red Pyramid chapter 33 discussion. Why are the gods so annoying!? Man, Desjardins really hates those kids. Think this will come back to bite him later? They land in a salsa factory, which they then light on fire, and we simply cannot begin to imagine that kind of pain. Yeah, Sekhmet seems like a god you don't want to mess with. Zia has a great plan that involves a lot of salsa but omg can you imagine if it had been GREEN? Do we trust Zia!? Doughboy to the rescue! We discuss our favorite scenes and favorite lines. Next up: Our Red Pyramid chapter 34 discussion. It's a good thing Carter has been practicing summoning things from the Duat. His coat is VERY sassy. And rude. Okay, something is seriously going on with Zia. What did Iskandar do to her?? When she talks about the fact that “he” is coming back, who do you think she meant? At least now we know where the fifth goddess went. Who the heck is Set controlling!? Zia does not need to be in the spotlight, and we love that about her. Amos is back–is this good or bad? Thanks for listening, and tune in next time for episode 141, where we'll discuss The Red Pyramid chapters 35 and 36, as well as get you up to date on more Percy Jackson and Rick Riordan news. Welcome to Multiverse News, Your source for Information about all your favorite fictional universesTrammell Tillman, the break-out star of Severance who plays Seth Milchick on the Apple+ show, will be part of the Spider-Man: Brand New Day cast. Variety got the scoop on the Emmy-nominated actor joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but no details on who he's playing were announced. Move over Marvel and DC…Archie is here to take us by storm? In an interesting move from filmmakers Phil Lord and Chritopher Miller, Universal is fronting an Archie adaptation for the big screen. Comics legend Tom King is writing the screenplay and former 20th Century Studios President of Production Emma Watts is producing. King made the leap from page to screen recently in the DCU, penning Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow and the Lanterns series, but is well-known for his comics in Marvel, DC, and beyond. The CW show Riverdale adapted the Archie comics in its own unique way and plot details for this film are unknown. Universal also produced a version of the Archie characters in Josie and the Pussycats in 2001. Though we sing the praises for AppleTV+ loudly and frequently on this show, we've also often touted it as being one of the more inexpensive streaming services. Alas, all good things come to an end, as the streamer announced its cost jumped from $9.99 to $12.99 effective August 21. The annual rate of $99.99 has not changed yet. As of now, AppleTV+ stands alone as the only streamer that doesn't have an ad-supported option. Dafne Keen and Saara Chaudry have joined the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Keen will play Artemis, the Greek goddess of the moon and the hunt. Saara Chaudry will play Zoë Nightshade, an immortal hunter and Artemis' lieutenant.Guardians of the Galaxy and Jumaji star Karen Gillan has joined the cast of the Amazon MGM's Highlander reboot and will play Heather, the love interest of Henry Cavill's character. The first trailer for season 13 of Futurama has been released. All 10 episodes of the new season premiere on Hulu on September 15.Nicolas Cage is in talks to star in season five of HBO's True Detective.NBC has reversed course on the release schedule of the upcoming The Office spin off The Paper - shifting to a binge release. Instead of the previous plan of rolling out over four weeks, the show will now debut all 10 episodes at once on September 4.K-Pop Demon Hunters and Weapons duked it out for the top spot and the estimates on Box Office Mojo show Demon Hunters coming out on top. The Netflix sensation was only released for one weekend and clearly had a draw. Now production company Sony is in talks to create a sequel with Netflix. Variety has learned that despite announcing plans for a season two earlier this year, Paramount has opted not to move forward with another season of the Dexter prequel series Dexter: Original Sin. The studio is planning however on assembling a writer's room to develop a second season of Dexter: Resurrection, the sequel series.Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg and Josh Heald, the creators behind Netflix's Cobra Kai are in talks to bring Knight Rider, the 1980s David Hasselhoff-led action drama centered on a computerized talking car, to the big screen.

It's time for the weird giant battle. One of these seems to happen every book, and it's where we get super confused. Alex's clay creation, Pottery Barn, battles a lumpy clay giant, while TJ battles Hrungnir. Magnus just kind of stands there. Relatable king. We both wish we got to see more of Alex and Magnus's relationship developing. They defeat the giant and his clay friend, and are told to travel to Flam and take the train. But before they can do that, Blitz and Hearth return. It's time to face Hearth's father once again. They go to Alfheim and Alderman's home is not how they left it. Instead of a mean dad, they must face a mean dragon. We get a bit too deep because of Manasa's Thor's Rumbling question. Erin's question is silly, per usual. In this exciting episode of Wise_N_Nerdy, Charles and Joe are joined by the amazing storyteller and author Bob McGough from Tales by Bob. Things kick off with the beloved Question of the Week: “What is your favorite book series?” From listener shoutouts to epic fantasy favorites like The Black Company, The Dark Elf Trilogy, Eragon, and Percy Jackson, this segment is a book lover's dream. With a roll of the dice, the crew dives into the “How Do I…?” segment where they unpack the real challenges of becoming an author. Charles, Joe, and Bob reflect on what it truly takes to stay committed to writing. Bob shares insight about aspiring authors who lose motivation after sharing their story ideas—and challenges them to consider whether writing is their true creative path or if another medium might serve them better. It's a must-hear moment for every would-be novelist. The dice keep things moving into “Daddy, Tell Me A Story”, where ATL Comic Con adventures unfold—complete with broken-down cars, surprise panel twists, and moderating celebrity guests. The chaos, comedy, and behind-the-scenes tales give listeners a fun peek into convention life as both fans and parents. The next stop is the “What Are You Nerding Out About?” segment where the passions fly high. Joe hypes a new romance anime The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity, Charles bonds over his love of coffee with Josh from Uploads of Fun, and Bob shares his obsession with the hilariously creative UK game show Taskmaster. Then it's time to brace yourself for some cringey dad jokes from Bob and longtime joke contributor Devocite. Charles lightens the mood even further with a hilarious tale about chatting with Kiefer Sutherland—complete with pun-filled name gags. Finally, the dice land on the “Parliament of Papas”, where the trio unpacks a story about a man telling his girlfriend to give up on her dream of being a writer. The conversation explores how to balance dreams with the responsibilities of real life. Their message is clear: it's okay to pursue your dreams—but make sure your house is in order as you build toward them. So, whether you're a reader, writer, gamer, parent, or just someone trying to figure it all out—Find your FAMdom here.Wise_N_Nerdy: Where Fatherhood Meets Fandom.

Time for the final book in this series! We start off as all good books should begin, with a cameo from Percy Jackson. Manasa thinks that Jack was created specifically to anger her. Erin thinks that Jack is actually delusional and living in a false world. Percy helps Magnus train for his journey on a ship, and then Magnus and Alex go to clear out Randolph's house, where they find some clues, and also wolves! Fenrir is the Taylor Swift of wolves. Just as we're the Taylor Swift of podcasts. Magnus heads back to Valhalla and finds his floormates ready to launch their expedition on the sea. The boat is yellow like a banana and for some reason this really embarasses Magnus. We are pro-yellow boats.
