It's your job to make yourself do the crap you don't wanna do, so you can be everything that you're supposed to be. And you're so damn busy waiting to feel like it, and you're never going to. No one's coming. No one's coming to push you, no one's coming to tell you to get out the door and exercise, no one's coming to tell you to apply for that job that you've always dreamt about, nobody's coming to wright the business plan for you, it's up to you. And because you're only ever gonna do the things that you feel like doing right now, that feel good right now, unless you understand that you've got to push yourself, you're not gonna make your dreams come true. In that instant where you have a choice, a choice to either hit the snooze button and go back to sleep or open your eyes and get the f*ck out of bed, that's a choice that takes discipline. Discipline is not something that any of us are born with. It's a muscle that we have to train. How you start your day, and that decision you make in that instant, it's a decision that can shape the rest of your f*cking life. People don't realize it, but that bed can represent your entire life. If you stay in that bed, you're literally staying in your comfort zone. Which means your day will spent in your comfort zone, and your month, your year, and before you know it, you've spent your whole f*cking life in your comfort zone. Never pushing yourself to new heights, never trying anything new, taking risks, moving forward. So don't take it lightly. If you open your eyes and get the f*ck out of bed, the next decision you face that day, you're gonna now be disciplined to not take the easy way out. It ain't easy, but f*ck me, it's worth it. Greatness is not something you meet once. It's something you meet thousands of f*cking times in your life. And you don't reach it if you're not constantly in constant pursuit of greatness. So if my mind were to say right now, "I'm great." I just lost. We're gonna grow. We're not gonna triple down on our strengths. We're not gonna do that crap. We're gonna work on our weaknesses so we grow. We need friction to do that. You know how you get mentally tough? It's a lifestyle. Instead of hitting that f*cking snooze button in the f*cking morning, you get up. You don't wanna go run? You go run. Don't wanna go swim? You go swim. Don't wanna make your bed? You make your bed. Don't wanna clean your house? You clean your house. You don't wanna study? You f*cking study. That's how you start to callus your mind. It's gonna suck. It's not gonna be fun. Do something that sucks every single day of your life. That's how you grow. Embrace the suck.
