Beyond the huge depth of clinical research that Dr. Galpin is involved in, he's also worked with the likes of Mike Lee, Conor McGregor and Stefi Cohen. I asked Dr. Galpin to come on and discuss wearable fitness tech- it's a subject that has been greatly requested, and to my mind there's no better expert than Andy, having published his book 'Unplugged', alongside Brian McKenzie a few years back- by far one of my favourite reads on the matter. There's plenty here to think about- from HRV monitors, to heart rate training and sleep apps, and what we really set out to do was give you some pause for thought on how you can use these devices, without letting them use you. Enjoy!

Dr Ed is an incredibly interesting individual who has studied conventional medicine, nutritional and environmental medicine, biochemistry and is currently training in psychiatry in the NHS. Dr Ed's primary focus is in helping individuals to optimise and take a proactive approach to their health, versus the traditional ‘reactive' approach of the medical system. We REALLY got into the weeds on this one, discussing how we can manipulate movement based on our evolutionary make up to elicit different responses. What ‘training' means to a lot of us, and how that can create limitations. And the adaptations we can make in the modern world, to create an environment that our body is better designed for. As we say up front and several times throughout, none of this is designed to diagnose, treat or cure, but there's certainly alot for you to take away and experiment with in the laboratory of your own life. Enjoy!
