He now runs Bowen Innovation Group L.L.C., and does innovation, pedagogy and D&I consulting and training in both higher education and for Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, Chevron, Pfizer, Toyota, and Walmart.

Michelle J. Eady is a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Wollongong, Australia. She is a HERDSA and ISSOTL fellow, and a SFHEA. Michelle, the President of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (ISSOTL), holds a national teaching citation for her work in quality teacher preparation. Her research interests include the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), Work integrated learning (WIL), Indigenous Studies and current issues in Education.

Andrew Swain, FACET of 2023, Assistant Professor of Business Law at IU South Bend. His research interests include State and local tax overlap and interact with International Tax, and the interplay between tax and corporate social responsibility.
Maureen Rutherford, FACET Class of 2020, Chair and Associate Professor of Psychology. Her research lab studies the impact of drugs and environmental stressors on the physiological and behavioral expression of stress responses in the zebrafish (Danio rerio) model.
Niki Weller, FACET Class of 2021, Associate Professor of Sociology at IU Kokomo. Her research is to better understand how sociodemographics influence an adolescent's exposure to, or protection from, deviant behaviors, with a particular emphasis on risky behaviors such as drug use/abuse and sexual health behaviors.
Allen Davis, FACET Class of 2021, is a Teaching Professor and the Director of the Basic Language Program in Spanish. His research interests lie in phonetics and phonology, especially the role of musical aptitude in pronunciation learning and individual differences in language acquisition. He earned both his Ph.D. and M.A. in Spanish Linguistics at Pennsylvania State University, and B.A. in Spanish at IUPUI.
Jason Organ, FACET Class of 2021, is an Associate Professor of Anatomy, Cell Biology & Physiology at the IU School of Medicine in Indianapolis. His research examines how the structure of bone and muscle influences how they work. He earned his PhD in Functional Anatomy & Evolution from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and MA in Anthropology from the University of Missouri.
Shelly Burns, FACET Class of 2023, is a Clinical Assistant Professor, School of Nursing and Health Sciences at IU East. Her current teaching interests include building first-year nursing students classroom and clinical experiences through simulations. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from IUPUI, Master of Science in Nursing Education from Ball State University, and Bachelor of Nursing from IU East.
Carrie Mier, FACET Class of 2022, is an Associate Professor of Criminal Justice at IU East. Carrie's area of research is drug trends; community risk and resilience to substance issues; stigma; and, risk and protection to violence and victimization. She received her B.S. in public affairs from IPFW (now Purdue Fort Wayne), and master's and doctorate in criminology and criminal justice from Florida State University.
Barbara White, FACET Class of 2022, is an Assistant Professor and the Assistant Dean of Nursing at IU South Bend. Barbara's area of research is the success of African American nursing students as one path to promote health equity. She seeks ongoing learning and discussion about race and inclusion through the activities at the IU South Bend Civil Rights Heritage Center.
Kathy Berlin, FACET Class of 2022 and Associate Professor of Health Sciences at IUPUI. Her research focuses on the scholarship of teaching, the feasibility of utilizing health education specialists in physician practices, the use of health risk appraisals in the workforce, and the motivations for continued physical activity as individuals' age.
Meghan Porter, FACET Class of 2021 and Lecturer of Chemistry at IU Bloomington. Porter teaches courses in inorganic and general chemistry, and is especially interested in the development of lab and course assignments involving real-world applications of metals in medicine.
Harold Olivey, FACET Class of 2022 and Clinical Assistant Professor of Biology and Department Chair at IU Northwest. Olivey also serves as the FACET Associate Director for IUN and a member of the 2023 Annual Retreat. He has a passion and dedication for student success and teaching.
Tara Kingsley, FACET Class of 2022 and Assistant Dean and Associate Professor of Education at IU Kokomo. Coming from a family of educators, Tara started her career as a fifth grade school teacher. Then completed a master's and P.h.D. in elementary education at Ball State University, where she was an assistant professor for a year before coming to IU. Her research primarily focuses on enhancing the classroom experience for students through the use of technology and gamification of knowledge.
Demetra Andrews, FACET Class of 2022 and Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at IUPUI. She is a consumer researcher and focuses primarily on internal and external factors that influence consumer confidence and readiness to act. Andrews holds a Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Houston and an MBA in marketing and finance from University of Texas at Austin.
Mike Polites, FACET Class of 2022 and Teaching Professor of Communication Studies. He earned both his BS and MA in Speech Communication from Ball State University, along with a Certified Training Certificate. Prior to his academic career, he worked in sales and consulting. Since 2004 he has been teaching classes on Public Speaking, Interpersonal Communication, and Interviewing Skills in the Department of Communication Studies at IUPUI.
Miranda Rodak, FACET Class of 2020 and Clinical Associate Professor of English at IU Bloomington. She also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Teaching, English. Previously, she worked in the Kelley School of Business, teaching, coaching, and developing communication/writing courses in the undergrad, MBA, and online executive MBA programs.
Emily Beckman, FACET Class of 2022 and Assistant Professor and Director of the Medical Humanities and Health Studies Program at IUPUI. She also serves as the Co-Director of the Scholarly Concentration in Medical Humanities and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the IU School of Medicine. Her academic interests include literature and medicine; empathy in medical education and practice; medicine in film; human sexuality; hope/end-of-life; Central State Hospital and the history of institutionalization in Indiana.
Galen Clavio, FACET Class of 2022 and Associate Professor of Sports Media at IU Bloomington. He is also the current Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Media School and Director of the National Sports Journalism Center. His research focuses on the impact of new and social media on interactions between consumers, media, and sports entities, including social media's impact on journalism, content creation among fans, and the hybridization of communications and marketing in the digital sphere.
