Send us a textOn this episode of 2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates, Drew and Rob dive deep into the NY Giants UDFA tracker, introducing Giants fans to the newest group of undrafted free agents who will be fighting for a spot on the 2024 roster. They kick things off by highlighting running back Rushawn Baker from Elon University, a hard-nosed runner who finished his college career strong with 100+ yard games down the stretch and impressive pro day numbers. The conversation shifts to the wide receiver additions, starting with Jordan Bly, son of NFL veteran Dre Bly, who impressed scouts with his speed despite limited college production.Drew and Rob then focus on Dalen Cambre, a Louisiana wideout known for his special teams prowess rather than receiving stats, and Beaux Collins, a big-bodied target from Clemson and Notre Dame with a solid frame but issues with drops. Da'Quan Felton, another towering receiver from Virginia Tech, is discussed for his intriguing physical tools despite concerns about separation and top-end speed. They also cover Nate McCollum, a quick and savvy slot receiver from North Carolina, praised for his toughness, route running, and YAC ability.Antwane "Juice" Wells Jr. from Ole Miss is highlighted for his physical style and inside-the-numbers toughness, though injury concerns cloud his evaluation. At tight end, they spotlight Jermaine Terry, a physically dominant prospect from Oregon State who brings size and athleticism but still needs refinement as a blocker. The offensive line additions include RJ Perry from USF, a versatile lineman with starting experience at multiple spots, and Jaison Williams from Youngstown State, a durable tackle who earned All-American honors. On defense, Drew and Rob discuss Trace Ford, a speedy edge rusher from Oklahoma with injury concerns but serious burst, and RJ Delancy III, a cornerback and special teams contributor from Wisconsin.O'Donnell Fortune, a ball-hawking corner from South Carolina and East-West Shrine Bowl MVP, is highlighted for his strong zone instincts despite concerns about tackling and long speed. They break down Makari Paige, a long, athletic safety from Michigan who offers versatility in sub-packages, and Tommy "Turnover Tommy" McCormick from Idaho, a productive and hard-hitting safety with a knack for takeaways.Throughout the show, Drew and Rob bring energy and thorough analysis, making this episode a must-watch for fans eager to know who might be the next hidden gem for the New York Giants. Whether it's discussing Baker's late-season explosion, Collins' potential as an X-receiver, or McCormick's turnover prowess, they leave no stone unturned. Rather than giving in to anger or excuses, Shawn chose to sit with his feelings of embarrassment, using the moment to learn and reassess his priorities. Shawn Tucker is a professor of Humanities at Elon University and author of several books, including Humility: An Approach. He listened to Uncomfy and reached out to us to share his story—and you can, too! However, building high-quality and long-lasting relationships can feel challenging or unattainable for many college students. In this episode, Elon University's Peter Felten, and Emily Krechel, who serve as members on the Mentoring Initiatives Design Team, discuss the role of relationships in student success and how Elon stakeholders look to create a relationship-rich university community. I️ hope you enjoy today's episode with Kelsey Howard. Learn more about Kelsey in her own words below. I was born and raised in Wilmington, NC. After graduating from Elon University in 2014 with an art major and biology minor, I attended UNC- Greensboro and became a registered nurse. While I had made art for many years, I became much more invested in painting as I grew in my first year as a nurse. Sitting in front of an easel after a day of work brought me a lot of joy and relaxation. The first subject I truly loved to paint was the human face. My initial interest started when I was probably 11 or 12 years old and began as an interest in anatomy. My style eventually developed into a love of using bright colors while working in more subtle colors, textures, and details. After a few years working as a registered nurse, I left to pursue painting full time and currently work out of an at home studio. When I'm not painting, you'll usually find me walking at the beach or a local park near our neighborhood. I love to gather artistic inspiration from traveling and nature. My husband and I currently live in Wilmington, NC with our two dogs, a cat, and a lot of plants. Instagram: @kelseyhowardart Website: www.kelseyhowardart.com

Bob Martin has led an interesting life as a successful criminal trial lawyer, meditation teacher, professor, and mindfulness coordinator at Elon University. He was fortunate to have studied under Hua Ching Ni, a 72-generation Master from the Shaolin Temple. Later on, Bob married a Bible literalist and worked out a way to fuse East-West spirituality in book form. He started writing his book as a Rosetta Stone and a love offering for his wife and him to discuss the nature of the universe. Lauren Dunne Astley was 18 years old and had her whole life ahead of her. In the fall of 2011 she was planning on attending Elon University for college, but not before spending her last summer at home in Massachusetts with her friends. But that all changed on July 3rd, 2011, when Nathaniel Fujita, her recent ex-boyfriend, strangled her to death in his garage. His motive? Their breakup. On March 7, 2013, he was found guilty and convicted of first-degree murder. Amidst this tragedy, Lauren's parents have dedicated their lives to educating teenagers about the dangers of breakup violence and have traveled all around to promote their non-profit, The Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund, which seeks to bring awareness to breakup violence, and promote education surrounding the matter.
