It is not the circumstance that matters. It is your state of being that matters. You are not a physical being in a physical universe, you are a vibrational being in a vibrational Universe. You are both a transmitter and a receiver of energy. When you think a thought and feel an emotion you are transmitting vibrations to your surroundings. In essence, what you're tuning into, you're turning into. And our circumstances will reflect this back to you. Faith and gratitude instantly tune us into a higher vibration. On this episode, Darrell and Ed share how we get to choose our vibrational match by the thoughts we choose to tune in to. As Albert Einstein puts it, "Everything is energy... and that's all there is to it! Match the frequency of the reality you want, and you cannot help but get that reality. It can be no other way. This is not philosophy, this is physics.” And, during the second segment, the dynamic David McClure, author of “The Healing Tapestry”, tunes us into to something good with today's reading, “Healing.” Join the Prosperous Patreon Community: www.Patreon.com/FunniestThing Order David's new book https://shop.unity.org/product/the-healing-tapestry-a-memoir-of-divine-guidance

Believing that life is innately good, we more easily find ourselves in the right place at the right time. On this episode, Darrell and Ed rally listeners to supplement their faith with affirmations of gratitude in advance, knowing this opens us up to receive the good we desire. And, during the second segment, Dynamite David McClure gets us all envisioning the best outcomes for ourselves with today's reading, “Optimistic”. Become a monthly contributor to Funniest Thing! Once we drop our defenses and let down our guard, miracles happen. When we become convinced that God is lavishly supplying our needs, we can let down our hair down and be ourselves. In this state of complete trust, we are hyper aware of our inner guidance and have the confidence to go with it. Doing so, we discover that we have no competitors. Rather, people are attracted to us like never before. Success comes naturally as we simply say yes, when we mean yes; and no, when we mean no. On this episode, Darrell and Ed remind each other, as well as listeners, that being true to ourselves puts us on easy street. And, during the second segment, Happy-go-lucky Unity Minister David McClure inspires us to be true to ourselves with today's reading, “Drop the Rock”.
In the words of Esther Hicks, "Every time you praise something, every time you appreciate something, every time you feel good about something, you are telling the Universe, "More of this, Please." When we make it our intention to thank more and complain less we always experience more blessings. On this episode Darrell and Ed, encourage listeners to join them on a complaint-free diet and start thanking in advance. Everybody's favorite Praise-y Man, Unity Minister David McClure has us thanking all the way to the bank with today's Daily Word, “Joy”.

With an expectant attitude, success follows us everywhere we go! We truly live it up when we live with the expectation that God is arranging everything on our behalf. Asking and expecting equal receiving. Expecting our good to manifest gives life and power to our desires. On this episode, Darrell and Ed encourage you to stop mulling over how to bring your desires about and start enjoying the feeling of having them now. Unity minister David McClure launches us into our greater good with today's Daily Word®, “New Year.”
Do it, or don't do it, but get on with it. Don't let not having a degree or certification get in the way of your greatness. As a matter of fact, there was a time when being “certified” wasn't necessarily a good thing. According to Jiminy Cricket, the good news is, “If your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme.” On this episode, Darrell and Ed encourage listeners to take the next step toward their heart's desire today. When we take one step toward our desire, our desire takes 1,000 steps toward us. Certified Unity minister David McClure wakes us up to extraordinary possibilities with today's Daily Word®, “Awake.”
Royal watchers have spent the week reacting to the bombshell new revelations emerging in the updated book Battle of Brothers by Robert Lacey. Among them the suggestion that Prince Charles declared that Harry and Meghan's son Archie would never be a prince. PLUS is it time to decommission the royal train? Royal finance expert David McClure points out that it's only been used once this year (at a cost of £49k) and three times last year: ‘it's not really financially viable, and in the future its days must be numbered.' AND the Mail's investigative journalist Stephen Wright tells us all about his new podcast series investigating the events surrounding the death of Diana, Princess of Wales in a Paris tunnel in 1997. He reveals the details of the police interview with Prince Charles and some of the extraordinary conspiracy theories that have sprung from the event. In this episode with Dave, we get a first hand experience what it looks like to be a Professional Snowmobile rider. Dave, now in his 30's, has been racing The Jackson Hole Hillclimb for more than a 10 years! When I first met Dave in 2011, he was a warm genuine guy that enjoyed talking with everybody. It is not hard to see why Arctic Cat "pounced" on the opportunity to have him on board with their Black Cat Back Country Free Riders. Enjoy this episode!
In the past decade alone, more than ten million corpses have been exhumed and reburied across the Chinese landscape. The campaign has transformed China's graveyards into sites of acute personal, social, political, and economic contestation. In The Chinese Deathscape. Grave Reform in Modern China, three historians of China, Jeffrey Snyder-Reinke, Christian Henriot, and Thomas S. Mullaney, chart out the history of China's rapidly shifting deathscape. Each essay grapples with a different dimension of grave relocation and burial reform in China over the past three centuries: from the phenomenon of "baby towers" in the Lower Yangzi region of late imperial China, to the histories of death in the city of Shanghai, and finally to the history of grave relocation during the contemporary period, examined by Mullaney, when both its scale and tempo increased dramatically. Rounding off these historical analyses, a colophon by platform developers David McClure and Glen Worthey speaks to new reading methodologies emerging from a format in which text and map move in concert to advance historical argumentation. The Chinese Deathscape is published as part of Stanford University Press’ digital project series which aims to confer the same level of academic credibility on digital projects as academic print books receive. Innovative yet unostentatious, this platform sets new standards for combining interactive, scalable spatial exhibits with academic long-form narrative. Thomas S. Mullaney is Professor of Chinese History at Stanford University and a Guggenheim Fellow. Among many other projects, he runs his own Youtube channel. Update: Since we recorded this episode, it has been announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no longer be working members of the royal family. This month is a significant one for the British Royal Family. In an almost unprecedented move, Prince Harry and Meghan announced on 8 January that they plan to step back as senior members of the family, removing themselves from frontline royal duties. They want to, they said, carve out a "progressive role" in the monarchy. The rest of the family were seemingly left in the dark over the decision, but Queen Elizabeth has confirmed that they will be 'entirely supportive' of the pair. But what happens now? In this week's episode of The Explainer, presenter Sinéad O'Carroll is joined by David McClure, royal finances expert and author of Royal Legacy, journalist and broadcaster Conor Behan and TheJournal.ie reporter Rónán Duffy to look what happened since 8 January, what the future holds for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, what money - public or otherwise - they currently receive, how they could grow Brand Harry and Meghan. They also look at the couple's fractious relationship with the media and how that could have played into their decision.

Duke Basketball Corner The Annual Duke Basketball Tree Pod: 2019 Edition (With Joe Gaudio) (2018-19, Ep. 29) The deep dive of all deep dives! It's tiiiiiiiime to check in with all the ex-Dukies in basketball roles. Spoiler, it's a long list. Whether it be current players, coaches, and front office personnel in the NBA or college coaches, the sheer amount of highly successful ex-Duke players (and Mike Brey) does a great job of representing how impressive the program really is. For this monumental task, I brought on Joe Gaudio to help out, a huge Duke fan based in New York who you may very well hear from again on future pods. **The audio issues from Joe's audio end are unfortunate and no fault of his. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to fix them post-recording, though I did improve the quality as best I could through editing. The Universe is constantly conspiring in your favor. It seems too good to be true, but it's not. Life's easier than you think. Step out on the joyful belief that God is always making arrangements for your highest good, and you will rejoice in life's unexpected blessings. Unity minister and love machine David McClure elevates this episode with today's Daily Word®, "Pray for Others."
We are renewed, refreshed, and restored the instant we're willing to release limiting thoughts about ourselves. Author Alan Cohen warns that "Poor me," "Never enough," and "I can't" are trains of thought that will take you over a cliff. We can quickly stop the insanity by reaffirming the Truth with thoughts like "Blessed me," "Always enough," and "God makes a way where there is no way!" Wait, there's more! Unity minister David McClure discusses today's Daily Word®, "Restore."
