Summary To kick off the third season of The Tragedy Academy, Jay and Gary are joined by Ellie Neidhart, the wife of late WWE legend, Jim The Anvil Neidhart. Jay and Gary are able to geek out over their shared childhood experiences of watching wrestling, while Ellie gives us her unique perspective on the sport. Things weren't always easy: Ellie often functioned as a single mother because Jim had to travel so much for his wrestling career, and the convenience of communication certainly wasn't what it is today! But throughout the episode, Ellie emphasizes the true love they shared and the special relationship they had. Episode Highlights

The Outlaws are at Wembley Stadium in London, England for the biggest Summerslam in WWF history!! We go back to our childhoods to relive the biggest UK PPV ever, as the biggest stars in wrestling make their way across the pond. WWF Champion Macho Man Randy Savage defends his title against a horrifyingly dressed Ultimate Warrior as Ric Flair and Mr Perfect concoct a dastardly plan on the outside of the ring. Tag champs The Natural Disasters take on the Beverly Brothers and the Ugandan Giant Kamala attempts to take out our favourite dead mortician. The main event takes precedence for much of our conversation as The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith attempts to wrestle away the Intercontinental Title from his brother-in-law Bret the Hitman Hart in what we think is one of the greatest wrestling matches of all time. We touch on the absolute genius of Bret Hart, some of the background to the match including the Bulldog's interesting match preparation involving his training partner Jim The Anvil Neidhart. All of this, plus much, much more. Follow the Outlaws on instagram at https://www.instagram.com/outlawspod/

Hosts Ariane Andrew & Matt Dillon catch up with @WWE superstar #NatalyaNeidhart to chat about life in WWE during a pandemic, continuing her family legacy in wrestling, #TotalDivas, her #Youtube show #TheNeidharts and so much more. With a combination of beauty, talent, and untamed desire, Natalya is proudly carrying on the legacy of the legendary Hart Family in WWE.The daughter of Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, which explains her tough, forceful in-ring style that perfectly complements her mat ingenuity, Natalya was trained in the rough-and-tumble Hart Dungeon. The unforgiving training ground that churned out mat greats like Brian Pillman and Natalya's husband, Tyson Kidd, molded The Queen of Harts into one of WWE's most dangerous submission grapplers. She also learned from her uncle Bret “Hit Man” Hart by driving many of her opponents to tap via a Sharpshooter. Her presence out of the ring is just as incredible: Starring on E!'s Total Divas reality series and working as an active supporter of WWE and The Creative Coalition's Be a STAR Alliance, Make-A-Wish, Susan G. Komen and the WrestleMania Reading Challenge.Natalya came agonizingly close to capturing championships for several years until she finally broke through at SummerSlam 2017, defeating Naomi for the SmackDown Women's Championship to earn the gold for the first time since claiming the Divas Title in 2010. She made history once again in 2019, defeating Lacey Evans at WWE Crown Jewel in the historic first-ever women's match in Saudi Arabia. The WWE Universe always assumed it would take a man of tremendous ability to live up to the legendary legacy of the pink and black. As it turned out, it's doing just fine in this woman's hands.A new episode of Sippin The Tea Tv Show premieres every Tuesday at 9:00am pst Come and have a listen and make sure to follow us at:@ArianeAndrew@MattDillon1983@SippintheTeaTvShowIf you're more of a visual person: Check out Natalya' interview on our TV Show on YouTube:https://youtu.be/WpDEazASHxU#NatByNature #WWE #ArianeAndrew

With apologies to Saudi Arabia, the Greatest Royal Rumble may have been back in 1992. The world title was vacant and the winner of this event would be crowned the new champ. It was an event loaded with superstars such as Jake The Snake Roberts, Macho Man Randy Savage, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, Sid Justice, the Road Warriors, Owen Hart, Jim The Anvil Neidhart, the Bushwackers and many, many more. On Thursday's podcast, Sports Illustrated pro wrestling insider Justin Barrasso joined me to preview WWE SummerSlam, which is this Sunday night in Brooklyn (17:50). We opened the show with some thoughts on the late Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart, and Justin discussed his experience in Japan earlier in the week, covering New Japan Pro Wrestling's G1 Climax tournament. To which, I asked the question: Is the combination of "New Japan Pro Wrestling" and "Ring of Honor" a real threat to the WWE? Also, we shared some thoughts on AJ Styles, Smackdown moving to Friday nights on FOX, All In, CM Punk, and more.
So much coming up and going on that we're just going to chat about the news, upcoming wrestling, and sports events, plus we show tribute to a wrestling great's passing, Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart.
